Butcher Farrell’s Meat Emporium  Arvostelua

I should have posted this review much sooner, but truth is, everytime we go in I get so distracted by the amazing counter of amazing meat that I forget!

We stumbled across Butcher Farrell's Meat Emporium whilst in the area viewing a house - and what a find it was!!

I've lost countnof the different meats we've tried from there but EVERYTHING we've had has been unreal!! The aged steaks have to be our fave but everything from the enormous chicken breasts, pork chops, rib cap burgers to the sausages that they make on site are bloody lovely!!

The staff always have time for you and any questions you may have! So, big shout out to Sam, James, Georgia, and of course Johnny! The nice thing is that they all remember you and this is one of the biggest draws to shopping somewhere like this instead of rhe big supermarkets! The supermarkets don't know what you like or even remember your face!
We've been getting out meat here regularly since November when we moved house - lucky for us just down the road!

The quality of meat is fantastic, the range of meat is fantastic, and of course the staff are fantastic!!

Thanks so much to Team BFME! Keep up the boss work and fighting the good fight!

Swerve the supermarkets and support local business, and grab a dry aged rump whilst you're at it!!

Great quality meat, quick delivery. Thabjs

What a great place this is with such high quality produce including my personal favourite, their Toulouse sausage. It is sausage perfection, tasty tasty perfection.
The staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and although it's about 5 miles out of my way I'm now a regular customer.
Very highly recommend.

Great quality meat and very knowledgeable staff. Always happy to discuss the background of the meat and cooking options. Sam also has a wealth of knowledge regarding pairings for the cuts. The dry aged steaks are unbelievable, full of flavour and perfectly tender. The pork they source is top notch also, the Boston butt made me the best pulled pork I've ever had and the iberico chops are another level!

I found this place by accident when driving past on my way home from a day out. Looked them up online and really glad I did.
I was thinking about making an online order but decided to wait until I had time to drive back over and take a look. Sam was really pleasant to deal with and answer any questions I had. He explained that they do generally have more of a range in the shop compared to online... One of those things being the grass fed beef dripping which was out of stock online. Not only can I cook my steak in it, I've already whipped up a tin of skin balm with some of it. The burgers and the denver steak were lovely and we will be trying the bavette tomorrow.

The price to quality ratio is fantastic. I've already recommended to others and can't wait to return!

Really pleased to have stumbled across this place as I only eat meat/fish/eggs and dairy.

Thanks again Sam for lovely service, it was a pleasure speaking to you.

Delicious pork loin, sausages and bacon with very speedy delivery. Will definitely be ordering again.

Excellent service and delicious meat. Customer service was faultless, advising me on the best cuts for what I needed and helping me arrange delivery. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you.

Absolutely love BFME, will always be a 5* from me! We came across this place mid last year (we live near Liverpool City Centre) and love a day out every few weeks down this way just to pick up our Sunday roasting joint - and any other goodies on show on the counter!
Ordered a voucher this time for my boyfriend, he absolutely loves this place, so will be in soon to spend!!

The best butchers anywhere in the northwest. Would recommend this place to people everywhere.

The piece of meat I ordered was at least 40% fat. I was paying for meat - not fat. Someone had to choose the meat and wrap it so I don't know why I drew the short straw. Will I shop here again? Not on this evidence.

Well thank you for your response. You might think fat equals flavour however I would argue 40% fat would put most people off? And I am not talking about "marbling" I am referring to a cob of fat that constituted 30% of the said 40%. Once trimmed (i.e. tonight hence not making a phone call as you are closed) the steak itself was very nice. It's just there wasn't much of it after the removal of the fat. I chose your company as you are quite local and were a supplier of restaurants. Perhaps it was simple disappointment after anticipating better. I am quite willing to discuss the issue, just give me the nod.

BFME are great - have made a few orders with them and the quality of meat is outstanding compared to any of my local butchers. I get it delivered to my doorstep as I’m a good distance from the shop, always comes well packaged. Easy to get in touch with to ask questions etc - would definitely (and already have) recommend !

Got these traditional sausages from Butcher Farrell and they are fantastic..some of the best sausages I’ve ever had ,cracking flavours and highly recommend these

A butcher is for life not just for Christmas!

It’ll be so hard to find another butcher with so much passion as Jonny and his team. It’s a pleasure to buy from him, and every question is always answered!

For those who have first experienced this great butcher for Christmas please support him. We have to support small businesses otherwise we lose them. Please do. It’s too special to lose.

Thanks to all the amazing staff!

Bacon that tasted like bacon used to, steak wonderful meaty taste and so filling (have not tried the lamb and pork yet) but will order again on what I have tasted todate

Top quality meat, lamb was amazing and the rib cap burgers are the best burgers we have ever tasted.

Great quality meat and products, burgers and sausages are awesome.
Great quality with great customer service.

Unreal package delivered on the weekend! Really good quality, and cuts I haven’t had before but have desired for a while. Ordering again soon for certain. Customer service absolutely top notch.

Great beef, excellent value

The quality of the meat is backed up by the best customer service
