I downloaded the app and explored it a bit. I noticed that I was getting an unusually high number of likes, which already felt quite strange. But I still decided not to pay for the app—I just had a weird feeling about it.

Then I realized that you can unlock one profile every hour. When I did that, I noticed that only people from Africa, Nicaragua, Somalia, Ghana, and the Philippines were liking me. These are so-called fake profiles—they’re trying to lure you in. Even though I had specified that I wanted to meet women in Europe, there wasn’t a single profile from Europe, only from Africa.

And honestly, the app and the people running it should be arrested and put in prison. It’s not okay to deceive people like that. That’s just not right.

Simply this app is stupid because you have to pay for your privilege to message any profile you like. You also have to purchase every like you send to a profile of your choice. The profiles obviously don't have any guarantee of a reply to any of your messages you have sent to them. This is the worst dating app ever along with okcupid & tinder too. Also, don't use any other dating site that force you to pay for the privilege of messaging other people because that's weird & that's excuse for those types of predatory sites to make an easy quick buck out of desparate users.

Still testing will change the score if I like it , looks legit, a lot of ladies from 10to 7 to 4 . Can see ho liked you watching an add , takes time to reset, but free, then you can send a message. Or if you both like each other, got a match fast, suspicious, also was bombed by likes 41 in 1 hour. After registration. Also suspicious, uploaded 4 photos fully filled out the account info. Will actually be updating.. wait for the news

I had paid for one month subscription. I had swiped around 500 profiles and liked them all, but never received a text or like back from anyone. Women from African countries send you likes in which I wasn't interested at all. I think most of the profiles are fake.

Every guy I met turned out to be a scammers.
They all lived in the USA but need to leave to go work overseas. Something happened and they needed money. Not my money.

Paid for subscriptions but cant view pictures, app sucks and no reply on their support

I payed a subscription to try Bumpy I payed £37.99 for the 3 months subscription but cancelled it straight away and a refund through Google app store. This app a total con you pay for subscription but they want you to pay for more yes it stop the adverts but that's just about it if you're to use it don't pay for it as it is free you watch the adverts but it's very limited

Shadow banned after no bad language, no bad photos, no arguments. Of course no refund. No response on support email or Instagram message. .

I think the app is operated by scammers. Once used my visa card to pay and two days later there were fraudulent activities on my card. Some money actually transfered and once I cancelled my card, and subsequently the subscription activities on my profile were reduced to zero. I had already made a three months subscription. My advice, be very very careful while using this app. Avoid using your visa card to pay subscription.

If you’re an older woman looking to import a much younger ‘husband’ who’s from a developing nation then this is for you.

I selected friends/travel companion as my profile and mostly received likes from a bunch of people from Pakistan, Nigeria and Algeria. All looking to get married. The first 2 likes landed as I finished paying so the ‘men’ wouldn’t even have had time to look at my profile. One of them is beyond obviously fake. Waste of money.

I’ve tried creating multiple accounts on Bumpy using different emails, and every account ends up with zero visibility — no likes, no matches, nothing. This strongly feels like a shadowban, yet there’s no warning, explanation, or appeal process.

I’ve contacted support more than 10 times over several weeks and have never received a single response. If there’s an issue with my account or device, users deserve to be informed.

An international dating app needs responsive support and transparency. Unfortunately, this app offers neither. I wouldn’t recommend it unless customer support improves significantly.

A useless app - don’t waste your money

I’m on a paid subscription on this app and have been on it for a month. Would not recommend, the app pushes people that I have no interest in and after the first day I stopped receiving likes and it seems my profile is not pushed or seen by people. Im in Europe but somehow the people suggested to me are in South America or Asia, constantly says I have no more options within the regions selected. Filters are useless. A rigged, poorly managed app where messaging is not straightforward, you send a message and it may or may not be seen/received. Chats easily disappear meaning you can’t chat with a person you have connected with ever again. Profiles are not recycled so you don’t get a chance to see people you may have liked and missed. Regret wasting my money, plenty of scammers and bots who try to get you onto other platforms quickly so you know their verification check doesn’t work as well. Overall 1/10. Don’t recommend unless you want to waste your time!

I’m the opposite paid my fees but within an hour of a woman asking me for money and I refused my account was blocked the entire length of the membership with no way to complain seems if non members make a complaint they ban you and not them my credit cards trying to get my money back

No contacts without cash. Profiles look a like fake to me. Don't waste your time and money.

Actually I met some really nice people to Chat with and had some lovely connections. But then suddenly my messages were no longer delivered to them. I simply disappeared and had no chance of contact because they didn't get my messages. The customer Service didn't react! I got two bot generated answers but no real human actually looked into the problem to fix it.
Also,I've read that this seems to be a common problem on the app. You suddenly disappear on people's chats and can't contact them anymore. They didn't block you,the app simply doesn't allow your messages to be delivered to anyone!

The app itself is a swipe card style model with a few extra bits of fluff. 9/10 accounts are fictitious, bots or placed strategically by the devs, staff working for the app. (And yes it is the case and no one is going to tell me otherwise. It ain’t my first rodeo). I know how it works hence this review.

Almost non existent compliance mechanisms except occasional biased blocks and bans in favour of female accounts which linger on the app tying to draw unsuspecting men off the platform to WhatsApp or telegram in order to pull of a scam. I work in cybersecurity and compliance and know what goes on from Asian / west African accounts and profiles.

The blue verification badge is pretentious giving the impression that you would be safer speaking to someone who’s verified. In reality this is far from the truth. Circumvention is rampant with accounts faking it by being verified with their original picture and then changing their images around to female pics (usually) in order to draw men in. Reverse image checks on my end have proven this yet… do you think the bumpy team do anything about it? Nope, they don’t and won’t as it’s part of their strategy. Fake female accounts keep male users on for longer regardless of their intentions. I have reported countless profiles who have directly breached policy and terms and conditions to no avail as they remain visible on the app regardless. And no I will not do your job for you and report 9 out of the 10 profiles for nothing. This is something your team should take seriously which you don’t.

I highly suggest skipping this app or at least if you must try it out avoid at every cost from upgrading or paying for anything. Think about it, what more could you possibly get by paying? What’s the added value? Thank me later.

I’d like to find out some way what payments facilitator or acquirer they use in order to report their compliance deficiencies to the card schemes.

My profile is being shown only to people I'm not interested in.
Too many "pay to unlock" things.
There should be an option to send a message to someone you like if they allow it instead of making it paid.
So in a nutshell it's useless unless you pay , and it's not quite cheap
I also found out that most people get likes the day they sign up and no more likes after that. Maybe it's to push people to boost their profile
