Review by Anonymous User Overall, we enjoyed the products given in our bump boxes. They had some nice monthly surprises and good brief articles sent to us weekly that aligned with my wife’s experiences. It was always nice to say “Yea I’m going through this exact thing”. A few of the products were a little bit of a letdown - and one box of prenatals that was sent to us were expired. We didn’t use them anyway, we always had our own, but still. Our disappointment was on the cancellation portion. Because we had our baby at 38.5 weeks, we didn’t need our last box and were charged $25 early cancellation fees. They offered to send us post baby boxes but we weren’t interested. It’s fun and we would subscribe again, just really annoyed at the cancellation fee and expired prenatal.

I was unimpressive with the 2 boxes I received. So I emailed them repeatedly to cancel my subscription.
They never did.
So I had to cancel my card. They've been sending me emails and texts to update my payment info.
I've again messaged them to cancel my subscription. I'm not receiving or paying for any more boxes.
Yet they continue harassing me, months later.
The products aren't worth the cost and the customer service is nonexistent.

It is my first pregnancy so i was excited to try this subscription boxe. honestly its not worth it at all for the price. You can get all those item at the dollarstore . and i have alot of repeat in the different box. I do not recommand..

Be mighty careful! They do not tell you the subscription automatically renews and they don't give a heads up you're about to renew. You just get an invoice when the 7th box is sent!

I don't think the products are up to a decent standard, but most of all, when I wanted to cancel early, there was a 25$ fee to cancel early. Not only were we dealing with a baby coming way early, but now a fee to cancel something we did not care for, and at this time they can't meet my needs for a baby born so early, so they charge me a fee. DON'T SIGN UP FOR THIS, IT'S A RIP OFF

NOT WORTH THE HASSLE........
I thought it would be cute to order MOM & DAD Bump boxes for my Son & Daughter In Law's baby shower. As soon as I placed the order they charged my credit card, that was 3 weeks ago and I have yet to receive my packages. A mouthy CSR Jessica told me once the box leaves them it is no longer their responsibility. I have NEVER in my life heard of such a practice! THE NERVE TO SAY THAT TO A PAYING CUSTOMER! REMEMBER WHERE YOU'D BE WITHOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS! I contacted UPS that says the package isn't tracking properly so it needs to be found by filing a complaint which ONLY THE SENDER CAN DO!!! I AM THE RECEIVER JESSICA "Lead Customer Service"! I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS COMPANY! Buy your own little gifts it's more personal. This place is a scam probably out of Jessica's basement.

These boxes were so cheap and not worth the money at all, we got tons of duplicates and customer service is terrible ! I was even charged to cancel this crappy orders !! Never buy

I have been trying to cancel my bump box since the second box! They do not reply nor answer the phone ! They keep taking money out my account and it’s no way to cancel! This is a scam and I do not recommend. Someone needs to reach out to me asap!! Highly disappointed because so many ppl ask me about you guys

This is scam and there is no support neither anyone to reply to concerns. Signed up for my wife and received a box of items that she cannot use. For god's sake we received 2 baby milk bottles at week 1. Countless times of waiting 30+ minutes on chat to get a response and no one is responding. At the end i gave up and cancelled my subscription to find out that they charge 25$ cancellation fee that is not discussed when first signing up. This website is just a scam. Do not use this as it will only add to your stress as new expecting parents. I wish i can give 0 starts. You guys do not deserve the 1 star.

I received my first box, and was happy with what I received, It included face wash, toner, dry shampoo, as well as some gummy vitamins, a cup that says MAMA on it, and some tracker signs. All things I will probably use. I just received my second box today, and there is just no way this is worth $40... I received another water bottle that looks fairly cheap like maybe $5, the same exact gummies they sent me in the last box... I don't need 2 of the exact same thing 2 weeks apart, some ginger snack crackers that look pretty gross actually, and a felt letter board which is cute. but that was it..., how is that worth $40, I bet in total its like $20 worth of stuff. I'll have to see how the 3rd box is but was disappointed with this one.

When my girlfriend and I found out she was pregnant, I ordered her the box. It was her first pregnancy, and she was so excited when it arrived in the mail. Once the second one arrived, and the initial excitement of pregnancy was over - she told me the box was sweet, but most of the stuff was junky and not worth it. So, I went to cancel and had to pay a cancelation fee of $25 (order #4RLD-MM5W-E7ZF-QYGZ). I wasn't super happy about that.
Additionally, her second box (that arrived July 15th-ish) came with some prenatal vitamins (from Enfamom); she already had an open bottle of prenatals (Ritual) that she had to finish, so come mid-August she goes to try some of the Enfamom prenatal vitamins (a 90 day supply), and sees that the bottle expires in two weeks (Sept 1st). She was upset and honestly grossed out that a company - catering to pregnant women - would send out basically expired prenatal vitamins. Even if she started the supply on 7/15, a 90-day supply should have lasted until 10/15. She would have had to take expired vitamins or only use half the bottle. She isn't a difficult person - she's taken an expired Advil or Tylenol here or there - but while someone is pregnant with their first child and ordering from a company catering to pregnant women, this is unacceptable. It makes me wonder how long some of the other products sit in their warehouse before being sent out. Between the expired prenatal vitamins, the cancelation fee, and the low quality of the items - this box is not worth it. And definitely not the subscription.

Newborn box, new mom box and dad box.. these were so disappointing. I would never recommend. Please take the money and go build your own box for less, such a scam.

Terrible customer service. Never received a confirmation on order, followed up multiple times, over two weeks fir delivery… would never recommend!

Stop renewing automatically and stating that it is a service for the mom's. If I wanted more than a 6 mo. subscription I would have signed up for 9 or 12. This is only a service you do for the company....not the new mom's. New mom's are going through enough and this is a way to take advantage of them. Shame on you!

Products were decent. Predatory subscription practice with autorenewal and difficult to find cancellation button on website.

Waste of money, don’t do it please. The overall items aren’t great & once you decide to cancel you are charged a fee. It’s pointless… don’t do it. Save your money and time.

Husband purchased a six month subscription. We were disappointed in the first box. What they claim the value is, is nowhere near what was received. He attempted to cancel, but they said pre-paid subscriptions are not refundable. I guess they just take the money and run. Clearly they don’t put the money into the products and instead pour it into the marketing. Do not subscribe. Get the value for your money and spend it elsewhere.

UPDATE: As you can see by their response, there is no option of cancelling the subscription. Instead of being accommodating by cancelling a subscription, they would rather ship a box that gets returned to them every month for the next six months so that they can give me a credit to their online shop. I even asked if they could just skip to the credit and not ship the boxes. They weren’t accommodating to that either. Again, BUYER BEWARE.

I received the same products in several boxes and requested no more products for myself only for baby and still received items for me when I was already overstocked. They claim you are able to send items back when not satisfied but then charge $11 dollar shipping on an $18 dollar product. I have never been so unsatisfied with a subscription before. It was very user unfriendly to use from the start. Also, very return impossible!!

I ordered a 6 month subscription for my daughter 9/1/20. I called Bump Boxes and cancelled the subscription when the 6 months were complete. My daughter had her baby and therefore would no longer benefit from receiving the boxes. I discovered on 5/4/23 they have been charging my credit card $41.33 every month and delivering boxes to a residence my daughter moved from 7/21. I immediately went online and discovered my account was still active and 26 boxes were charged for a total of $960 and delivered without a current subscription and valid credit card! I cancelled it again and called and emailed the company. As of today, I have not received a return call and they continue to email me that they have "no record" of me cancelling after the 6 month subscription. The credit card I used to purchase the initial subscription expired 3/22. They continued to charge my card every month as a "virtual payment". If I did not cancel the subscription and wanted my daughter to continue receiving the boxes, I would have definitely changed her address! They state there has been no communication from me regarding changes to my account or missed shipments. I am confused as to why there would be communication from me regarding any issues because I cancelled after 6 months? Also, I received an email every month during the 6 month subscription detailing what would be in the box, if I wanted to make any changes and ship date. I have not received an email from them in over 2 years, coinciding when my subscription was cancelled. During the last 2 years, the cost of the boxes went from $38.16 to $41.33 again with no notice by email. I have sent emails inquiring how my expired credit card continued to be charged every month and why I did not receive monthly emails from them with no response to my questions. When you call Bump Boxes, there is no direct way for me to speak with a customer representative. The recored message states that I have already called and they will respond ASAP and they give a number you can text for additional help. No response to my text messages either. They have yet to respond but continue to email their "form answers" stating their renewal policies etc and they will issue me a store credit for 3 months. Go to the Better Business Bureau and read the reviews about this company. They are not accredited and they have a history of continuing to charge customers after subscriptions are cancelled. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I posted on social media and they deleted my comments and have blocked me from their Facebook and IG pages. I have asked for at least a partial refund instead of the total amount as a resolution. The last email I received from Jessica in customer service said "they have reviewed my case, we will issue you a 3 month store credit and I want to be clear that this is the final resolution that we can offer". I am not only a Mother of 4 children, grandmother to 3 and a professional registered nurse for over 35 year, I am a consumer and my goal is to let other consumers aware of this companies business practices. Thank you.

My husband signed me up for a six month subscription it’s now been over a year and six months since i’ve had my baby. They make it imposible to cancel! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SCAM! No website to talk to their “mom squad” the page doesn’t load. There’s no customer care number. We can’t even log into our account anymore it’s almost like it doesn’t exist. We’re having to dispute the charges with our credit card company.
