Tom and Matt carried out work at my property fixing my gate! They both did an excellent job. They are a credit to the team. Thank you both

I have been a customer for over 3 years and I have never had a bad experience the hole is amazing the rent is affordable and the repairs service is very reliable. I feel safe and able to thrive just as Bromford aim for.

Si Morgan came to fix a door handle that had broken. Great chap, turned up, polite, did the job, had a cuppa, chatted about dogs and allergies and off he went. I rarely have issues with the trades, they are consistently brilliant.

Now, the systems and processes at Bromford... yikes!! Need to seriously review these and how they communicate with each other (if at all).

We have been with Bromford for years now.
In our current property we have terrible internet service , We have spoken to open reach but they cant do anything with out Bromfords permission but of course Bromford will not do anything about it. We have spoke to our neighbourhood coach about it ,we have sent sooo many messages to him but he would rather ignore them or tell us things we have already done. All Bromford need is to give permission to open reach to install fibre cables. We have sent them a request form ect but still nothing. We have never been late on rent we do everything right but they dont want to help and sort things out. Im sick of tryng to sort this they dont want to help they have no intention of helping. If you want something done dont bother to ask them they wont help you. Been going on for 4 years.

The man who came out to do 4 jobs for me (Richard H) was absolutely lovely! Very quick but efficient! All 4 jobs were complete within around an hour which I was very impressed by as I was expecting the jobs to take at least a couple of hours to complete and they were done to a high standard! He was also very polite! :)

Rick was amazing! Went out of his way to get my repair sorted for me ASAP! And such a lovely guy.

Sam & Andy attended my property today to carry out the final stage of repairs to a window job thats taken a long time to resolve. Sam came a few days ago and managed to establish what the problem was after numerous people attending. The 2nd time hes resolved an issue. Top guys lovely and friendly and talked me through what was being done.

Rob was very polite and did a great job on the windows.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding service from Tom and Matt

On 8th July, during the amber weather warning, Tom and Matt came to install a new drainage channel outside my home for Bromford. The area they were working in is a real heat trap, with the sun beating down on them for most of the day. They worked tirelessly from just after 8:00 am until the job was finished, despite the intense heat, and never once complained.
Seeing how hard they were working, I made sure they had cold drinking water in pint glasses and gave them ice poles to help them cool down. I also encouraged them to take regular breaks in the shade and stay hydrated because they were working in such difficult conditions. Their dedication, work ethic and positive attitude never changed, and I really appreciated the effort they put in.
Before they started drilling, they thoughtfully advised me to close my doors and windows to stop dust getting into my kitchen, which showed how considerate they were.
Unfortunately, I had to leave because of an emergency. When I returned, I was delighted to see they had carefully put all of my large plant pots and garden items back exactly where they had found them. They left everything clean, tidy and looking as though they had never been there, apart from the excellent new drain.
The quality of the work is outstanding. The new drainage channel means that when it rains I should no longer have to walk through puddles to leave my home, which will make a huge difference because of my mobility issues.
Thank you, Tom and Matt, for your professionalism, kindness, respect and hard work. You are a real credit to Bromford, and I hope this review recognises the excellent service you have provided.

Lovely chap called Sam has done a wonderful job and I am very happy with it.

Happy with the work Adam & Lee carried out today and went beyond to solve my issue in my kitchen and bathroom . Really polite and kind and both took very good knowledge when explaining about my toilet and tap and flooring .

Had rick the engineer come round and sort my bath taps out and did exactly what was need as where all the people on the phone at bronford were useless

Ignore the propaganda on the side of their vans, this company doesn't care about you. They only care about making money and keeping that money.

They take money from you at every opportunity and refuse to properly maintain properties or invest in long lasting repairs that would actually save them money down the line.

Not to mention all the communities they destroy by moving absolutely horrible scummy families right into the middle of them.

Thinking of moving into a new home?Reconsider if Bromford or similar housing associations have properties nearby.

Whoever thought privatising social housing would be a good idea was an idiot.

Received an email 29/6/26 from Bromford asking to complete a customer survey.

Positive: step up from the last time they asked me for a review - Feb '26, just after I received a decision from the HO of Severe Maladmin (published in May '26 Learning from Maladministration report on HO public website ID 2025 23918)

The Feb call breached my R Adjust's Order signed to HO just 72 hrs before - at least this one came within my agreed hrs & comm pref's.

Negative:

The case I took to HO was 1 of 3 major issues over 6 or so yrs, ranging from malicious complaints to try & evict me, where medical pro's & advocates could't stop Bford/Merlin pursuing this, taking mnths to resolve til apology was finally given & I got my full tenancy given back.

(Bford likely have a diff recollection to paper evidence)

Come 2021, my bathroom disab adaptations were botched by the occ therapy depts contractors.

When I complained I was met w/ foul language targeting my disab (engineer did admit & apologise later) but Bford refused to finish the adaptation for well over a yr w/ HO dispute resolution involved.

They eventually apologised just before HO progression, once again promising to note my disabs & RA's & promised I'd never have another experience like this again.

Along came Dec '24 & dread of another major repair report: leaking window pouring into my living room & mould while dealing w/ signif health issues & a case around my pers safety (domestic) involving authorities. (Bromford mgmt chose not to safeguard - my then coach did all poss to help me anyway - sadly he left - as most tenant focused coaches do in my yrs at the property).

6 mths in, repairs still not done, multiple surveys, unannounced visits, rude contractors, usual disorganised run around, a Stage 1 went in - nightmare began.

This complaint's led to my support dog being manhandled, photo'd covertly, more malicious neighbour complaints put to me & withdrawn when proved false, being falsely told I have no permission for my "pet" which i had got in 2021, stories by 2 engineers re a phone being hit ("co-incidentally" raised exact same day as council & HO gave Bford notices of investigation), contractors coming w/ no equipment, demanding to use mine as they'd been told I had ladder they needed.

All this despite CCTV evidence proving events didn't/did happen, contractors & area mgrs making derogatory & threatening comments at my door, a Home Improv Notice that Bford ignored (withholding repairs always a pattern when making complaints) w/ Cat 1 & 2 hazards. (Bford deny mould is Awaabs Law if they already knew about it for a yr.)

By this point Bford knew they were under HO scrutiny, so I assume they needed a reason to discredit me, & in a now pattern make life more difficult as always happens when concerns are raised, in my experience.

Want to say the Severe Maladmin ruling curbed the behaviour, as HO did great job, BUT things only escalated, during & after, w/ further Stage 2's now being actioned & external authorities placing safeguarding markers on my home to allow my right to quiet enjoyment & let me deal w/ the difficulty of being disabled, til the cases are resolved, to give me some respite from the blow back I get since making the most recent complaint & HO ruling specifically.

A Risk marker was placed on me just 24 hrs after HO ruling - only became aware of this after replying for a SAR (heavily redacted) 2 mths after HO ruling.

Reason for this changes depending on who Bford are giving it to, me or the HO (version to HO risk marker only way to note my request for 2 ppl - a request I didnt make).

Medical advice & disabs repeatedly ignored.

Bford admit they've no clinical experience but feel their opinion of whats best for my health supersedes that of GP/Consultants.

Despite the HO ruling, letters to CEO & Board & yrs of apologies, Bford wont change.

I could stay quiet, but after yrs of this, Im speaking out & not backing down, in exchange for goodwill compensation.

I checked w/ my Advisors who confirm'd Im able to give a review while matters progress, since I have been asked for it, despite my making clear to CEO & Board what the issues are (repeatedly)

My services are now restricted, as I've been Flagged for "frustrated w/ my experience of" their behaviour (for which HO ordered compensation), & its likely Bford will not take kindly to an honest review of yrs of shocking experiences.

I should say Bford largely disagree w/ cctv evidence as staff say they have a different version to time stamped media so this on balance isn't conclusive?

This isnt just poor performance, it's absolute indifference to me & formal authorities & is now perceived punishment for legitimate complaints.

Not been easy but my advice is dont give up no matter how daunting, there is help out there.

Hopefully the f/back given as Bford asked for will be useful.

Brilliant service again from Rick & Lee, fixed our garden fence! Very friendly, even played with our dog

Came to investigate a door issue. Fixed it, was friendly and called beforehand to let me know he was on his way.

I spoke to Macey over the phone in regards to organising a repair. She was absolutely lovely, took what I said seriously and provided multiple dates of engineer availability for me to choose from. Asked if there was anything else she could help with, which there wasn't, and we ended the call. Very pleasant lady and her call back time was swift. Thank you Macey xx
