British Grocery Arvostelua 19

Ordered a load of stuff only to get an email 24 hours after the dispatch email saying that a product I ordered (which was showing in stock) was actually out of stock and they’re refunding me that item. Now it’s with the courier who won’t leave the package safe and insist I’m home to sign for it! So to save £7 on groceries I’m losing £hundreds in earnings to accept the delivery? Think not! They can take it back and shove it up there…….. definitely won’t be shopping for anything here again!

Yodel state order has been delivered not received. Emailed and had a response but unable to phone to find out when a replacement order is being sent and waiting for an update is slow

Crazy delivery costs. I was about to order £80.00 worth of Sunsweet Prune Juice. Guess what delivery cost was quoted? £20.00.

No way, Jose! Whoever owns this company needs to get competitive (and real).

On the 17th of November,2025, I ordered a dozen packs of McVities Fig Rolls from British Grocery, online.
I have been on line to their carrier, Yodel, entered the correct tracking number and Postcode, and come up with absolutely nothing. I did have an email from British Grocery stating that the biscuits were despatched on the 18th. However, 12 days later, I have not received them, and acnnot get an answer from Yodel. This is my first, and probably last, order with British Grocery. Someone could have walked up the A6 to deliver quicker!! Thje reports I have read on TP do not give me a lot of hope either.

I ordered my product on the 20th November, 2 small boxes of Bisto gravy powder paid £3.99 delivery. come on guys sort your stuff out, otherwise you will be another company going to the wolfs. I have to change my 2* to a 4* and eat some humble pie as my order arrived today, thank you for your service, product in date & unable to buy this box size anywhere else.

Ordered some pink marshmallow wafers which I expect to have a long date on but these had 14 days date on. When I purchase them from local supermarket they have around 6 months date on. Certainly won’t be purchasing anything else from them

Ordered knorr chicken cupasoup that doesn't contain garlic and they sent the wrong ones with croutons that do contain garlic. I hate garlic!!
As there were 12 boxes of it,it is a total waste,and their mistake.
All started off positive initially when I brought it to their attention, but now there is silence.
Don't go there.

Wonderful Order, arrived in good quality, strong, cardboard parcels, in perfect condition

My thick-bleach was packed carefully, in a separate delivery-parcel, and was also still in its manufacturer's box inside the exterior delivery-parcel, which is appreciated ~ Thank You

In another delivery-parcel, I received my lovely, high-quality Biscuits, from a, French brand, and, the Milka brand, all delicious, top quality, well-made Biscuits, well packaged

I also received a nice box of lemon-flavoured, squidgy, banana confections, coated with a thin layer of dark chocolate, they are very filling and yummy

All my order was exquisitely packed, with a clean cardboard layer over the top of the goods, to protect the order from the box-cutter if used to cut through the delivery-parcels' tape to open the delivery-parcels

The order was great value, prices are a bargain

My, British-Grocery.com order, arrived on time, and was delivered inside of the porch, as instructed

I would like to see more Organic Products being sold on, British-Grocery.com

First time customer to this site. Placed an order for a single item. They sent the wrong item. Almost impossible to contact customer services by phone or email to progress and get correct item sent. No phone contact for customer services and they now seem to be ignoring my emails regarding this issue. Frustrating, disappointing, and almost non existent after-sales service.

Disappointed. Delivery took 1 week and expiry dates are short. Ordered Bounty's and Wagon Wheels Jammie Teacakes, both have only 4 months expiry dates. It doesn't state on the website that short expiry dates are supplied even though items are full price. Very disappointed, won't be ordering from British Grocery again.

Ordered some liquid soap today for first time. Fast shipping. All good.

I can't recommend British Grocery enough! As an expat it's been such a relief to find a reliable online shop for all my favourite products at a reasonable good price.
Their communication is excellent and the order was fully tracked which gave me peace of mind. Everything arrived well packed and on time.
I'll definitely be ordering again soon. Thanks for bringing the taste of home to Spain!

Appalling Service! Bought 12 tins of pineapple crush as supermarlets do not stock it anymore and I use it for a family cake recipe which everyone loves.Six of the tins were dented.I contacted sellers , sent pics and still no reply.The sellers blamed the couriers but the box arrived perfectly intact.Amazon ans Ebay should not accommodate this company .They are a disgrace!

Delivery from yodel takes over a week, tracking yodel doesn’t give time of delivery . My order came at 19.45, not ideal as waited in all day. Reluctant to order if delivery through yodel.

The site advertises shipping to Ireland (ROI) in 2-3 days. It took 12 days. I could have walked to the store. Packing took 2 working days, delivery took 7 working days.
Product turned up eventually but I won't be buying again.

I've been using British Grocery for a few months and they have been great. Better prices that my usual shops and the orders always arrive very well packed. Thank you!

I have been ordering monthly for the last year and very impressed with British Grocery. Great customer service and they have helped me save a fortune on some of my favourite products mainly Lucozade zero!

Hice un pedido hace casi dos meses por valor de casi 90 euros y nunca lo recibí. El paquete fue devuelto una vez aquí a pesar de que la dirección era correcta. Se lo hice saber y me dijeron que lo enviarían de nuevo. Les di una dirección nueva, porque el nombre de la calle estaba en proceso de cambio de nombre y ya no supe nunca nada sobre el pedido.
