Brid Animal Park Arvostelua 

An excellent small zoo on the outskirts of the UK coastal resort of Bridlington. I am a keen photographer and we have a holiday home in the area. I regularly visit and enjoy it every time amassing numerous, what I consider, excellent images.

The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to have a chat and the animals are clearly well cared for and loved. Well worth the time to watch the bird flying display, most days when weater permits at 13.00. The birds fly free without jesses, which, to me means they are happy and want to be there.

Our family usually visit when they are on holiday there and always enjoy it. Entrance prices are sensible and you feel you have your money's worth.

Well worth a few hours, and oingoing support.

We went this weekend for the meerkat experience and it was such a lovely day! The staff are so friendly and welcoming- especially the lady in the reception/ gift shop, the lady who we held the meerkat experience and the gent that brought the cutest little armadillo out for us to see. If you get chance, do an animal experience (getting to feed and cuddle the meerkats was so special) but even to just wander around the park and see all the other animals was so lovely! You pay 50p and get a bag of food to feed certain animals- beware of the Shetland Pony! He’s very slobbery!! 😂

Just had the most amazing experience at the park, we had the meerkat experience today (no one mentioned the porcupines and tortoises thrown in for free!!!!) We had an amazing chat through the animals with Jackie clearly passionate and knows the animals and where to see them, we then had the meerkat session with Rochelle, super friendly, super fun and obviously in love with her work and animals, we just had the best time with the meerkat, one of the best days out I've ever had. We then had the pleasure of chatting to Paul the park owner, and he told us so much about the animals and introduced us to the parrots (Erik and Ernie the long beaked cockatoos, are worth the trip alone!!) Wonderful place run by passionate and friendly people.

What a great time we had here. The park had a range of animals & a relaxed environment making it great for families. On this occasion it was two of us (adults) & we spent mid morning to late afternoon on our visit. The animals looked well cared for. All staff were friendly, informative & obviously loved their jobs. What a pleasant change to meet smiley people even on a wet & windy day. I dont think I'll ever forget the Barn Owl, Boobook Owl, feeding the wallaby's, meeting the coati mundi boys & the Meerkat experience. Due to Covid there is a 1-way system throughout the park, it works well. Hand washing stations & VERY clean toilets. We took a picnic. This is a gem of a place, they deserve to be a success & I would certainly visit again. Thank you in particular to Richelle & Paul.

We had a difficult time trying to book an animal experience on the phone. We had an in date groupon voucher and the staff were very rude about us trying to book in August summer holidays before the voucher expired- even though I'd been previously advised by them that this would be fine. Perhaps they're annoyed with groupon but shouldn't take it out on customers!
