Breakthrough Maths provides online maths grinds in Ireland for students from 4th class right through to 6th year. We support Primary School, Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students who need clearer explanations, better structure and more confidence in maths. All classes are taught live by experienced Irish teachers and are fully aligned with the Irish maths curriculum. Lessons focus on the topics that appear most often in class tests, assessments, mocks and State exams, helping students understand questions, apply methods correctly and pick up marks consistently. At Primary level, we focus on building strong foundations, problem-solving skills and confidence. For Junior Cycle students, classes help organise learning, strengthen key topics and reduce maths anxiety. At Leaving Cert level, we provide exam-focused tuition for higher and ordinary level students, with an emphasis on exam technique, timing and marking schemes. Engaging classes with great positivity
Breakthrough maths has been a really positive experience in the run up to the Junior cert for my son. There is great positivity and energy in the on line classes. The chance to try a class for free was great in convincing a reluctant student to sign up and now he logs ins with no reminders from me!

From a student's perspective
From a student's perspective, BT Maths has a passion for teaching and helping each of us. Each teaching resource (notes, recorded classes) are both entertaining and useful for revision.
The weeks' learning intentions are well organised, with focus on two chapters per week. The classes are mostly focused on practice, but they are also a great reminder of areas where each student needs to focus on.
Finally, the teachers are quite approachable and clear. This company has the students' needs at its heart and they will try their best to explain any questions we have.

Fantastic Easter Course for Junior Cycle!
My daughter is in 3rd year and recently completed the Easter course with Breakthrough Maths. It was extremely useful and really helped boost her confidence heading into her exams. The tutors explain things in a way that actually makes sense, making complex topics much more manageable. Highly recommend their grinds for any student looking for that extra bit of support!

Fantastic free Easter course. Very good reminder on 5th year subjects. As I haven't learned proofs properly yet, I learned a bit but didn't fully understand. Diarmuid was great at teaching and answering the questions

Breakthrough Maths are an absolute Godsend!! Not only do they send you the recordings of their classes so the kids can go back over them for revision purposes but also they put on three extra classes for Easter Junior Cycle this week at no extra charge and have now sent recordings of those, they also did a Masterclass in Algebra recently, again no extra charge🙏 They really do all they can to simplify Maths for the kids and give them great tips, I would highly recommend them 🙂

My daughter started doing the grinds last Oct for her Leaving Cert ..From the very beginning she found their instruction, delivery and support excellent ..they explained topics and concepts in a way she could relate to ..thus relieving her stress.
