Great service, really friendly and no pressure to buy

Recently bought a beautiful bmw m2. Traveled 3 hours to view and I can say I was really impressed. Nice little dealership with some lovely cars. The car was exactly as described if not better!
Spoke to Brad over the phone prior to viewing and also dealt with him on the day. Cannot thank him enough for making the whole sale seamless and easy. Very Informative and friendly, did not feel pressured to buy a was just left alone to view the car before and after the test drive.

Delivery company they use were really easy to deal with and fairly priced. As of yet no issues at all with the car. Very happy

Bought a Jagggg😃

Avoid at all costs – mis-sold finance, unsafe car, and disturbing behaviour from staff.

I bought a car from Bournemouth High Performance in March 2024 and was completely misled about the finance. I was never shown the full cost of borrowing, the £8,900+ in interest, or the £13,546 balloon payment until after I signed and asked questions. The dealership invoice had no mention of finance details, and key costs were never explained.

After I raised a formal complaint, I received a phone call from the dealership where they claimed they “didn’t have access to the finance figures at the time” due to confidentiality — yet they still arranged the sale. That alone should be enough to raise alarm bells.

I also received the car with illegal tyres — which they only agreed to fix after I pointed it out. My children were in that car. How is that acceptable?

Since leaving an honest review, I’ve been repeatedly harassed by the company, receiving aggressive and threatening emails including one which bizarrely referenced “my plants” in an apparent attempt to intimidate me. It was completely unprofessional and disturbing. No customer should be treated like this.

I’ve raised this case with the finance company and the Financial Ombudsman. I don’t want compensation I just want the car returned, the finance cancelled, and to move on from this appalling situation.

If you’re considering buying from this dealership especially on finance be extremely careful. Ask to see everything in writing and do not rely on what they tell you verbally.

Please note we are currently taking legal action against Philip Newham for this false review.

Mr Newham is attempting to use reviews to extort us into paying his finance interest for him which is not something we will EVER stand for.

Mr Newham purchased said vehicle in 2024 where he was sent all relevant documents from the finance company which he read and signed in his own home on his mobile phone before traveling to us to collect. He now says he has never seen the documents he signed...

The finance rate at the time was very sensible at 10.9% this was only due to his credit profile not being perfect in which case he may have been eligible for 9.9%.

The amount of interest he owes was because he had no equity in the deal, borrowing a large amount of money with little deposit obviously results in more interest over the time of borrowing.

The balloon payment is payable at the end of the contract as is always the case with PCP deals. Mr Newham opted for PCP over HP as the monthly payments were more affordable for him.

It is worth noting, Mr Newham was sent a digital e sign from the finance company in which he had to watch a video of exactly how the PCP contract works. This happens before the documents were then signed.

Please note at the time of writing this review Mr Newham had already made 15 payments but claims he has no idea about how much they were.

Mr Newham is not the most well-informed chap to say the least. Unfortunately, he’s just another chancer trying to use the review system as black mail to get him out of his own financial difficulties.

We have the signed documents in the office should anyone wish to see them, I assure you, the figures from the finance company could not be more clear as in the case with all banks these days.

A perfect example of someone desperate to borrow money at the time they want a car, but not happy when they have to pay it back…

I recently purchased a car from…

I recently purchased a car from Bournemouth High Performance, expecting a high standard based on their name. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Shortly after taking the car home, I noticed significant bodywork issues, including paint peeling off.

When I raised my concerns with the dealership, I was met with a complete lack of support. Rather than addressing the issue or offering any form of resolution, they were dismissive and unhelpful. Given the price and supposed quality of the vehicle, I expected far better customer service and integrity in their sales process.

If you’re considering buying from Bournemouth High Performance, I strongly advise you to proceed with caution. My experience has been disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable dealership.

Hello Leon.

I would like anyone reading this review to please appreciate that we will not be blackmailed by anyone into paying for negative reviews to be removed. This review will stand because we quite rightly are not prepared to pay for any mistakes made outside of our care.

This is a truly disgusting review and your way of trying to black mail us into paying for your misfortune. You have purchased a car several months ago, you have had the car jet washed at close range, you then have the nerve to write this review stating we are untrustworthy, unreliable and somehow to blame for your misfortune.

“Shortly after taking the car home, I noticed significant bodywork issues” The small bodywork issue is a small patch that you have held a powerful jet wash too close to. The paint has not simply “peeled off” it has been blasted off.

You have mentioned an issue regarding coolant leaking and very kindly posted photographs of a damaged radiator. You can see from the photographs the radiator has clearly been physically damaged. This is usually caused by stones as the radiator is situated near the wheel. This has happened months after your purchase.

You have never even reported this issue to us! You have jumped straight onto your keyboard to try lump the blame straight onto us, leaving a slanderous and damaging review out of pure spite in an attempt to try and extort us for your own misfortune. Trying to insinuate it was damaged by us and hidden but has taken months to reveal itself is quite literally unbelievable.

Had you reported the issue to us we would have, as we always do talked through the situation with you and told you how to make a claim on the warranty you are provided with as standard. Although the burden would still be with yourself as this has developed in your ownership we could of worked with you to find a better solution than you being seriously overcharged for a simple repair. £800 for this repair is not right. I can only imagine you have simply made this figure up to further mislead the reader.

Your review is misleading and deceitful, typical of the modern-day keyboard warrior who has no concern for those whose jobs you put at risk and people’s lives you damage from the comfort of your computer.

All in all its very clear that you are the type of person who jumps straight to leaving a negative review as your first action. The type of person who thinks its ok to write deceitful and misleading reviews to try and damage the reputation of good hard working people.

Utterly disappointed with this garage…

Utterly disappointed with this garage and the after sales. Remotely signed all paperwork and was given the details through WhatsApp. Signed the agreement then went to collect. On arrival the vehicle was significantly damaged however due to driving over two hours and already signed a financial agreement we agreed to take £400 off the vehicle. We took it home and then the cab started filling with smoke. This was due to a pipe that had burst - at this point I couldn’t fault how promptly the vehicle was collected however one of the owners asked me if I was sure it was smoke and not condensation. Quite clearly I could tell the difference. This was fixed with some extra miles on the clock as (aftersales) had stated he would be ‘extensively test driving’ which is ok. In an ideal world this wouldn’t happen but we had no choice.

Since it returning home I used it for a very short journey due to my children being unwell and noticed oil residue on my driveway. I let BHP no and thought that i would look at the history - previous MOT’s have constant oil leaks.

I contacted BHP they were shut at it was a weekend and contacted ‘ the driver’ he cannot be named as request of BHP who collected it previously. He advised me to use the vehicle and check the oil but I have decided not too incase of any damages this may cause. He offered to bring me a smart car which is very kind however I have a disabled daughter and 3 small children which are unable to be left home alone meaning I couldn’t physically use it.

I heard nothing from BHP but sent in a letter via WhatsApp as I had no contact email. I was told to send it via email and at this point had trouble sending due to signal so asked if the sales man could forward it to be told he can’t and I need to do so.

Back and forth responses, very rude at points. I have no faith in the vehicle so asked for a replacement or rejection to which they won’t answer. Apparently I refused for the vehicle to be picked up - not true and apparently I refused the courtesy car - I didn’t refuse I just said I’m sorry it doesn’t have 5 seats so I wouldn’t be able too. I am very sorry BHP that my daughter is disabled !!!
(Aftersales) is now on holiday - he has told me to contact the finance company direct as apparently they can’t do this.

This has already been logged as a complaint with them and they advised me to let the dealership no what I would like as a resolution, in an ideal world a good truck that doesn’t break down twice in two weeks and has an extra owner on ( which they forgot to mention ) check your paperwork!

At this point I am looking to reject and they have left me in a vulnerable position. I can’t transport my daughter to her educational setting or my three little boys and they have made minimal attempt to help.

I bought this with 3 previous owners as sent via WhatsApp, it has 4 and apparently that’s what they mean when the current log book is in front of them …. Very confusing none the less 3 owners stated and 4 on the v5 so this was not correct.

My credit file is now a shambles and I am unable obtain another vehicle until this repairs itself and quite clearly BHP aren’t bothered by this either. This is due to them not accepting the rejection, then accepting then withdrawing.

Pictures attached of correspondence , the response is hostile. Even the after sales email has a pre written email response with how they will handle your complaint / any issues regarding breakdowns etc.

1. To be clear from the outset, we have offered to have any issues fixed, we have offered a courtesy car, we have offered you a full refund. We do not wish to sell you another car however and this seems to have got your back up. There is nothing further we can possibly do for you.

2. You seem offended by us asking if the issue was defiantly smoke and not condensation. This is a sensible question to help diagnose the fault remotely as we cannot see over the phone. If its smoke, then it’s usually oil related. If its condensation, then its water related. There really is no need to be offended by such a question. I’m not sure why you feel the need to bring this up with negative connotation? Please note it is very hard to help someone remotely whilst you are shouting and demanding and not letting us speak.

3. I’m sure you are sensible enough to understand a pipe bursting in your ownership is not something we could ever foresee; however the vehicle was collected from you and a courtesy car was provided within 24 hours, even on a Sunday.


4. We can only apologise that the courtesy car you were offered immediately was not good enough, however please note a courtesy car is purely offered as courtesy. We are not obliged to offer this service. There is no need to apologise for your daughter being disabled as this has absolutely nothing to do with the situation and you are simply using this to try and make us look like bad people.

5. We are closed on a Sunday. The auto response is sent so that you are not left in the dark. This simply informs you of the situation immediately whilst we are closed. I am not sure why you are using this as a point of negativity?


6. We have not left you in any situation. We have offered a courtesy car, a repair or a refund. Nothing seems to be good enough.

7. If a V5 document reads 3 previous owners, that means there have been 3 previously and the current is the 4th. DVLA have always used this terminology on their paperwork. If you are not happy with this then we suggest you take it up with them instead of using it as slander against us.


8. Your credit file being in shambles has absolutely nothing to do with us whatsoever and we are blown away that you are voicing this in your review? We do not have anything to do with your personal credit file.

9. We do not want to sell you another vehicle, frankly because you are extremely unreasonable and difficult to deal with. One minute you are screaming at us on the phone, the next you are apologising and thanking us, then you leave a review like this. We have gone above and beyond, bending over backwards to help you and then you leave these slanderous reviews in as many places as you can out of spite. So you must understand we would rather not do any further business with you im afraid.


10. Nothing in the messages you have chosen to post (which is bizarre) are hostile. I’m sorry you have chosen to view them so negatively.

Although there are elements of your review that make sense there are many more that are slanderous and untrue. Whether intentional or because you lack understanding of the situation we suggest you rethink some of the points mentioned as to avoid us taking legal action against you.

We have bent over backwards at every turn to try and provide you with a solution by any means possible. All except selling you another vehicle which we are not willing to do im afraid.

First time I have bought a vehicle…

First time I have bought a vehicle remotely and as I live more than 200 miles away from BHP I was quite nervous. Brad made the whole process easy and comfortable for me. The car was exactly as described and Brad answered any questions I had quickly any accurately. From my experience I would happily recommend BHP to anyone looking for a quality service from a very professional business
