Bookit.com is a not a travel agency you can trust. They refuse to refund our money after they cancelled our family vacation of 4. We paid $8K for our vacation and they will not do the right thing. I would not trust them and will never go through this company ever again! I would give them no stars if I could.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This company closed down “due to covid” and has stolen MILLIONS of dollars from innocent people! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Horrible, untrustworthy company! Do NOT book with BookIt.com! We were in another country and BookIt never paid our resort, something we paid for months before our trip. We had to pay our resort again so we could leave the country. They are so crooked that there is a Facebook group called "Scammed by BookIt" and there are at least a couple of thousand of us that have been screwed over. Again! DO NOT USE BOOKIT!

They stole my money for a trip to Cancun Mexico, and never gave it back.

Horribly company took reservation and my money12k then cancelled all my reservations and kept the money. closed shop and now is reopened again. Told me to work with my bank to pay me back.

Paid in advance for a 7 night trip to be taken in may 2020. This trip never happened. Bookit apparently only pays the resort the day before you arrive, if at all. So, beginning in march, people were arriving at their resort only to find out bookit hadn't paid a dime to the hotel. What can you possibly do in this situation other than pay a 2nd time (obviously at a higher rate than the deal you got when you chose your vacation destination) and hope to get refunded somehow. Nope, nada. Amid the pandemic, bookit realized they didn't have enough money on hand to pay everyone for the mass cancelation, because they do god knows what with your money instead of paying the hotel. So, instead of issuing refunds, they bought time by closing their doors, website and call center included, and pretty much posted a notice that blamed coronavirus and said deal with your bank because we are not issuing any refunds. This has been a nightmare for so many, especially when they don't have money to spare. This company is truly disgusting and should be investigated immediately for their payment practices. They've also been collecting airfare credits when flights are cancelled, not passing that money back to the customer. And, they've also been recharging people's credit cards for trip that were already paid for, hurting them even more. What a horrible excuse for a travel company. I've used the many times in the past, however afyer 15 hours of holding with my credit card trying to get my money back, I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER use them again. They should be ashamed of themselves, especially Bud Finlaw. Rot in h*ll you thieves. Please, consider this as a warning, no matter how good the deal appears, do NOT book through this company. DO NOT USE THEM.

I was scammed by Bookit during the Covid 19. They stole my $. If I could them 0 stars I would. They should be charged and arrested.

During Covid, Like everyone else bookit told us to recoup our money with the bank we paid with rather than giving out refunds. To top it off when we needed to talk to someone about our vacation we got a popup stating they are closed and basically go pound sand. Never will use again. Bad customer service and bad experience.

Don't do it! Book with anyone but bookit. They will take your money and disappear! Don't do it!

Book It tried to keep my vacation money by using CIVID-19 even though they just closed down the site and directed those the cancelled to contact their credit card or bank

They don't even deserve 1 star. I paid for a trip to PVR for 6 months. They shutdown their business, without explanation, and took my money with them. They never paid the resort I booked and shutdown all forms of communication. They stole money from hundreds of people and left them stranded. DO NOT use this company unless you like throwing away your hard earned money and not recieving anything in return.

This company is horrible. Trip cancelled BY THEM in early march. This was before the travel bans become active. Instead of allowing their customers to reach out to them, they kept everyones money, fired employees and diconnected their phone lines.Website and email stated bookit will not be issuing refunds AND told us to contact our card company for help.

Put in a transaction dispute with our bank. Over 2 months later bookit responds to the dispute stating they refunded our money. The bank shows no record of a refund.
They are trying to blame COVID for the cancels. Honest companies DO NOT leave their customers high and dry with no contact.

Do not book with this company. We have used them previously with no issues. DO NOT BECOME THEIR NEXT VICTIMS!

This company is awful. They should rename it Crookit.com. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. They stole millions of dollars from customers and left them stranded!

Run as far as you can. Booked a vacation to Cancun with them. In March they claimed they were closing immediately and filing bankruptcy. My $3500 vacation was POOF gone. Bookit didn’t pay the resort or the airline. Do not use them.

I would giveBookIt.com 0 stars if possible. This company is a SCAM! Worst customer service! They have recently stolen thousands and a thousands of dollars from customers after cancelling trips and leaving no means for communication with the company and NO REFUNDS! They recently left hundreds of travelers stranded without payment to their hotels therefore having to pay double. I won’t use them EVER again.

Bookit.com stole our money and left us stranded in Punta Cana. We had to pay for our trip AGAIN or the resort was going to call the police. We had to scramble to get new flights home in the midst of the US shutting down. I will NEVER EVER book through one of these sites again.
