Shepherds Bookbinders Arvostelua 4

Eau de Nil linen cloth on website looks nothing like what was received. Product cost £7.50, plus £6.50 shipping (took 6 days). Emailed & they replied I could return for refund but then I would be out of pocket & no bookcloth. I can understand a shade difference but the image on website had shades of blue, cream & pinky tones. I received washed out grey. Hey ho will not order online again & look elsewhere. I just want them to compare what they sent out to what is on the site. Also unless ordering more products (I did include beeswax) shipping expensive.
Edit. Was very cross but they refunded after seeing photos.

I’ve used Shepherds BookBinding suppliers many times and have found them exceptionally helpful and reliable. Once they rang me up to confirm a muddled order which I was able to correct directly over the phone with them. This last time I was desperate for some bookbinding materials in a hurry as I had a forthcoming exhibition. Some paper I ordered was out of stock so they kindly replaced it with a different colour through several emails. Their response was quick and the delivery service was super efficient for which I was very grateful.
Their materials are always high quality and attendees at workshops find them easy to use with satisfactory results.

Don't let the dated website fool you, this is a reliable seller with good quality bookbinding materials. I purchased a range of 'proper' bookbinding supplies as I got more serious about this hobby. It was a hassle free transaction; the items arrived promptly and were of a decent quality. My only concern was the shipping cost, unfortunately it was prohibitively expensive to Ireland (£15.50 shipping for a £13.50 order - ouch).
