AVOID !!

This company does not understand their customers are elderly vulnerable people. All was fine until the stairlift broke on the 2nd day and it was not clear at all how to get 24 hr support and which number to ring. The rudest man ever "Brian" was insistent on taking no responsibility and tried to shift the blame at every opportunity... it took 2.5 days for the chairlift to be fixed which was stuck in the middle of the stairs due to a faulty circuit board. Just blessed that my mother was not on it when it got stuck there was no way she could get off
Sounds like others have had similar experience ...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ...YOUR LOVED ONES DESERVE BETTER ....IM SORRY I DID NOT READ MORE REVIEWS

I was very impressed by the way the team valued their customers.

We have been customers for many years and they have always tried to facilitate in a timely manner. I have found them to be very customer focused and efficient.

Excellent company my parents were let down by a terrible stairlift repair company and my mother suffered concussion with a fall, I called BM stairlifts and spoke to a lovely girl in reception and explained the situation. Within a half an hour I got a call from an Engineer called Eoin who said he was on the way to fix it. It was fixed that afternoon and it has changed me parents life again, they were so worried about falling! Thanks BM My family really appreciate your support 👍

Delighted that we got BM stairlifts to install a stairlift for my elderly parents. It was needed with urgency and BM stairlifts came and installed it within only a few days. Parents very happy with the whole process and fantastic service.

A number of years ago BM Stairlifts (maybe 10;-) supplied a system for my mum. She used it well but has since passed. More recently my Dad has used the stairlift. Last year the battery was problematic and BM were contacted to do a service and replace the battery. This was all smooth and the system is now doing it's job good as ever.

After ringing the on call Service on the hour , every hour yesterday , i got a call from the engineer at about 4:30 pm, he explained that it was the out off hours call centre fault as they put an extra digit in my phone number, and he wouldn’t be able to come till Sunday , still waiting since Friday , have to say though its amazing how they knew which digit in phone number was wrong !

DO NOT TRUST YOUR LOVED ONES SAFETY WITH THIS COMPANY.
I would like to repeat the same messages as the other negative reviewers. The engineers are rude and abelist. Treat the users like morons and provide faulty not fit for purpose products. Although the lifts are under warranty they will not fix them. An engineer is being called every 2 days and they day there is nothing they can do. My father in law was trapped on the stairs for hours. Then on another occasion was trapped downstairs for hours. Engineers don't come when called. Call centre and managers are rude. Engineers said awful things about disabled people even though THEY ARE THE CUSTOMER THE PRODUCTS ARE DESIGNED FOR. Please do not trust them with yourself or your loved one. Not safe, not functional terrible technical and Engineer support and rude Engineers.

The button on stair lift broke , engineer came out to my mother who is in her late 80s , engineer was very rude told my mother that she was looking for something for free, that there was nothing wrong with the stair lift and also by the looks of her there was nothing wrong with her, rang the company , spoke to someone called Margaret who said she wouldn’t believe that as the engineer in has always had complaints and as she was not there herself she couldn’t say .
seriously what a way to speak to an elderly person , also this company must remember if it was not for the people with poor mobility the would have no company!!

Was initially happy with the advice and fitting. The problem arose when the stairlift broke.
As per website I hoped for a repair within 24hours. My vulnerable parents appointment was cancelled and we were not informed. I was told only when I rang. Was told initially that appointments were running late and passed onto Darren who told me that the appointment wasn’t scheduled at all. ( both my mum and his colleague must have been lying).
