Hyped by advertising - did not deliver!
This company advertises their product as revolutionary technology that actively refocusses glasses to meet the needs of your eyes. Absolute rubbish. It is not revolutionary technology - these are plain old varifocal lenses. There is nothing active here, barely anything technological. They rely on the user moving their eyes and head to look through different portions of the lenses. They cannot cope with most of the range of eye conditions that prescription glasses do. They are really just fancy reading glasses for people with no additional sight problems.
They give the impression that they can replace going to an optician and paying for prescription glasses. This could be actively harmful to some people. Opticians check for a wide range of health problems besides vision issues. This is extremely misleading and dangerous advertising.
