Black Tomato Arvostelua

The service from Black Tomato was phenomenal from start to finish. We planned our honeymoon to Indonesia with one of their experts and every single detail was carefully considered and planned. The hotel and restaurant recommendations, local guides and in-country support made the trip exceptional. Even when a restaurant reservation went awry, the team in the UK were on the phone to sort everything within minutes. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

BlackTomato arranged a great trip to Costa Rica for my. Wife and I on very short notice. Our agent, Luca, was very responsive and helpful. The trip exceeded our expectations. We would certainly travel with BlackTomato again.

From the very first inquiry to welcoming us home after our amazing trip to Morocco, our experience with Black Tomato has been outstanding. Jihane was great to work with and put together the perfect itinerary for us, as if she'd known us forever.
The accommodations, excursions, restaurants, and transportation/transfers were all top notch--the best of the best. Everything was seamless and so well planned. We had the most amazing time!

When deciding to book with BT, we were looking for a company to create a trip that would be 100% perfect for us and let us be us--not just another name on the roster for "xyz planned itinerary" that thousands of other people have already done the exact same thing.
We wanted something more. Something different. And we absolutely got it!! The most important thing to me is that BT lets you be a traveler, not a tourist.

Highly recommend! Happy travels!

Another informative, experience rich trip from Black Tomato. This thoughtful and well coordinated excursion included all the "must sees" of Egypt and Jordon and complimented them with a selection of people/culture events. All with Black Tomato's flare and demand for excellence. Great guides, great hotels, great trip.

Black Tomato helped us plan an excellent, well organized, fun, and relaxing honeymoon! We loved our trip to Thailand, Cambodia, and the Maldives. I’d definitely recommend them and would use them again for future trips.

Thorough, efficient and top of their game!

It was one of our most wonderful holidays with the family and the ‘on the road’ experience was unique in every way.

The best, most personalized travel experience imaginable! Highly recommend for the trip of a lifetime.

Jihane is a great travel agent!

She is very knowledgeable about travel in Australia, and was very helpful with planning questions. Jihane is patient and diligent. We recommend Jihane to anyone considering a trip to a country new to them!

Absolutely top notch service in all areas of bespoke holiday arrangements, from consultation through to the final product.
Black Tomato exceeded our expectations and we had a fantastic holiday.
We will definately use them to arrange the next adventure.

Black Tomato planned our trip to Bhutan this fall. Camilla was amazing to work with, paying attention to our needs and wishes and planned the most splendid vacation!
The hotels were amazing, our guide and driver were extremely knowledgeable and our itinerary was packed with breathtaking vistas and activities. It was the trip of our dreams. While this was my first trip with BT, it most certainly won’t be my last!

words can't describe our awesome trip to Cuba. Rob from Black Tomato was terrific, always getting back to us promptly and phenomenal in planning our trip. I would recommend Black Tomato if you want have trip of a lifetime.

Peru Trip was Over The Top FUN! Why?

Peru is so much more than Machu Picchu (although MP is a must-see, must do, on your trip).

Black Tomato introduced my girlfriend and me to an immersive experience in Peru. Our first trip to Peru included travel through Lima and Cusco and communities in between. Peru offered Sea & City (Lima) and Rivers, Lakes & Mountains (Cusco), and Black Tomato set up an immersive itinerary that ensured a broad and rich set of unique activities and experiences each day. No day was the same!!!

If you're a foodie like us then you will not be disappointed. Rich cuisine from world class restaurants (e.g. Central) to amazing dishes made by local restaurants. Black Tomato ensured we had access to amazing places to eat each day. We made cocktails in different locations, tried local foods made of corn, beautiful vegetables, potatoes, chocolate, fresh fish and many others local ingredients. We also tried guinea pig....it tastes like...a small pig (very good). Peru is a farmer's market on a massive scale!!! You can be a happy vegan in Peru if want to as well.

Are you active? Peru will more satisfy you in every way. We traveled via sail boat, horse back, mountain bike, hiking, kayaking, walking, trains, and helicopter (we also saw para-gliders). You may not do all of these modes of transportation but if you want to, Black Tomato ensures you have access to them all. We had incredible guides/pilots who were very experienced, very safe and enjoyable to work with each day.

Is it safe? Safe in every way with happy, welcoming people and culture. I've traveled to Japan and Peru is comparable in terms of a safe environment and how nice the local people are, regardless of whether you are in a large city like Lima or a smaller town like Cusco. Great People!

Are the Guides good? Simply put, Black Tomato ensured we had the best guides. Fluent in English/Spanish and extremely knowledgeable. Our lead guide ensured we saw/experienced as much each day as possible. And our guide always made sure to check to see if we were enjoying ourselves, if we wanted to change our itinerary, were we hunger/thirsty/tired etc. First Class Guides and very attentive. Guides in Peru actually attend college to be a guide! They care and they are very knowledgeable. Black Tomato, in my opinion, is exceptional at finding and working with the premier local guides and this sets them apart from other companies. We were important to our guide(s) everyday.

Peru is a MUST. We saw people from all over the world in Peru which should tell you a lot. It is an amazing, must-see, destination. If you love to be active, love food, love history, love the city, love the outdoors, love travel...then you must go to Peru. Black Tomato hit it out of the park on this trip!!!

Best,

Eric & Andi

Trip was planned just for me, and it was perfect and seamless. I've never had such a good time! I'd been to London several times before , but experienced it in more depth with Black Tomato. I plan to use them again and again!

The best travel agency I have ever used. The details were covered from start to finish which resulted in a carefree and amazing trip!

Perfectly executed trip to northern Spain. I will use them again.

Recently my family took a trip to Toronto and Niagara with black tomato, it was overall a very average experience - something an individual can easily book him/herself with 1/3 the cost.
- Agent missed the fact St Lawrence market doesn’t open the day they arranged us to go (not acceptable)
- The drive time was miss calculated so we missed the cruise in Toronto after driving back from Niagara on the lake back to Toronto
- Details are missed, never got the travel packet agent said will be in our hotel room after check in; we requested fresh fruits for my parents but were not arranged
- We took the trip to celebrate my dad recover from cancer and surprisingly there was zero extra from the agent not even a congratulations in the hotel room
- The day we arrived there was a big Caribbean festival in the city but was never mentioned to us so we missed it
- Costs are on par with top operators but quality isn’t so not worth your money in general. There are better value service out there

Oh boy how disappointed we are - there is little attention to details

We had the best experience in Corsica thanks to Sunil at Black Tomato! He listened to exactly what we had in mind and planned our trip perfectly down to the fantastic dinner reservations each night! We will absolutely use Black Tomato again! It was the perfect honeymoon and all we had to do was show up where Sunil planned us to be without thinking about the planning!
