Blackrock Clinic Arvostelua 

Prof Mark Walsh was arrogant and dismissive. He received a phone call towards the end of my consultation and took it with pretty much a dismissive wave of the hand to leave. €250 cash only!!

I spent a few days in Blackrock. My experience on ward not so good. Everything rush explained and left to your own devices. Food awful, had to ask several times whats going on, had to expain to ward nurses what Dr said for them to follow-up not understanding why they could not understand consultants instructions left at nurses station. Despite expensive fee's which insurance only covered some - I could not help but think that money was the no.1 priority and not the patient. Money means nothing when your not well and I'd have paid anything to get right. There's no way I'm going to critisie the ward or hospital staff, they're just doing their job and probably paid poorly. But no compassion/empathy existed except when it came to consultants even then I felt being fobbed off as they were in a rush. Felt I was not understood and I did not understand the ask from me at times, there was definately language and communications barriers. Never going back to Blackrock - used to be Platenum from me based on outpatient and past stays for other family members.

I received a CT scan on the 7th September 2024 and I have had no communication from either the consultant M/s Zenith Martin or her secretary who I contacted about same .I was told that the disc was received by her secretary and was passed on to the consultant that was over two months ago and I have not heard anything since.

Why do children share the same wards with medical and surgical ward in Fitzgerald ward? Anyone? Feel unsure about this, the way the world is and anyone can end up Der.

I recently had an ultrasound scan in Blackrock Clinic. Josella was the lady who looked after me on the day and she was very caring, friendly and she put me at total ease as I was quite nervous and she talked me through the process and what to expect. The staff on the reception were also very nice and extremely helpful. The overall service was very efficient and I would have no hesitation with attending here again for a scan.

I was there 12 months ago and was treated terrible by a technician who was scanning my legs. Had an impression I didn't want to pay. As I had asked receptionist a question concerning same. I subsequently saw Mr O Neill a Consultant who was very helpful also his Secretary Rachael

So unhelpful, trying to reschedule an appointment with a consultant and his secretary was so condescending borderline rude and unhelpful. No empathy no customer service, I think Blackrock clinic and the Beacon must employ from the same school!!!!

Night time staff were very ignorant and unprofessional by chief Executive, i believe, so what does that tell you.

I spent a,night in BlackRock clinic I got great care from receptionist attendants to all nursing staff to surgeons I take hat off my hat to alll great work keep up the good care .

Dreadful experience. Staff in A&E very unpleasant to a very elderly man and his accompanying daughter, told her to leave and take his wheelchair with her. 1 toilet for everyone in the A&E and not cleaned from mid afternoon to 9pm, paper everywhere and floor wet and this during covid. Most of the nursing staff I experienced were very uncaring and hostile and catering a disgrace. I was shocked at my care and treatment and would never go there again. The only saving grace was the consultant who was excellent, but they aren’t around to see what goes on behind closed doors and no family allowed in to support you.

Sent them an email requesting information regarding surgery, they got back to me and requested some further details, which I provided...was then told someone would get back to me....

......two months later I email again asking for an update, was told that someone would contact me ASAP...

.....a week later and still nothing.

Fantastic customer service.
