Chunky Fish Fingers - AVOID at all costs.
At nearly £4, you’d expect at least a sea faring white fish - not muddy ‘freshwater’ dwelling catfish.
These are not labelled Basa anywhere on the packet.
Even my cats wouldn’t touch it!
Wish I’d read the reviews before buying this product.

Today, I eagerly opened a new pack of Birds Eye fish fingers, a product I had been looking forward to enjoying. As I bit into one, savoring the crispy coating and the tender fish inside, I suddenly encountered an unexpected crunch. To my dismay, I discovered a small piece of plastic mixed in with the fish. This experience was particularly disappointing, especially considering the premium price of Birds Eye products. It's frustrating when such high expectations aren't met.

The Basa fish used in their chunky fish fingers is absolutely disgusting. It tastes like mould and dirt. Not surprising now I’ve looked it up and it is a bottom feeding, freshwater catfish. Both my daughters spat it out and we are all big fish eaters. Fobbing us off with sub standard produce. Will never be wasting my money on Birds Eye again.

Got fed this as a child, which I always thought was bad. Tried a good variety of their range over the last couple of months, and safe to say it's gotten worse. Flavourless, cheap, poor quality. I'd rather drink bile.

Untrustworthy. Started unexpectedly putting pea goo in their burgers instead of meat. They changed it back but now won't even give me some vouchers to make up for them making me eat their veg mush. So my boycott of all things Birds eye will continue.

If I could give zero stars I would have.
Birdseye frozen veggies were always really good but WOW!!!!! Nor lately.
I purchase a lot of there steam fresh bags to put in my lunch bowls. I purchased 4 bags of Snap Peas from 2 different stores. All 4 of them were awful and not eatable. They were stringy and a yellowish green color and “No I did not overcook them). I prefer my veggies with a bit of crunch rather than a soggy mess. I don’t know “where or whom your getting them from but there bringing down your Standard you have held for yourself and your company”. I will no longer purchase snap peas from your Company until you can prove you have made changes in your suppler or grower.
I realize that I’m just 1 person and who cares about one persons complaint or dissatisfied consumer but I eat alot of your products and so does my friends and clients that are eating a Healthy diet and lifestyle.
I hope you are able to address and fix my concerns regarding your frozen vegetables that you’re passing them as fresh from garden/ fields to plate.

Wow...Just had not realised how bad things were at Birds eye?
Bought a pack of 4 Chicken Pies and it stated quite clearly that they were the "Nations Favourite pie" ??
I really don't think so! What an utter waste of money! In todays day and age we all accept at least something is worth having when it comes to advertisements? Obviously not! Could not find a little bit of chicken in the pie at all? One of four had something that resembled chicken! The other three were vegetable and a small amount of gravy come source! Utter rip off! Chicken.....on a diet possibly?

Nov 2024 - DANGEROUS lack of quality control which is a real health hazard.
I bought an 18 pack of waffles which had lots of rotten blackeyes. They also had lots of black specs of shrapnel from the factory. I contacted BirdsEye and they just send out cut n paste letters and offered a voucher for £5 compensation, which in reality meant £1.50 compensation as the rotten produce cost £3.50. I shall now send the filthy waffles to the food standards agency.

I bought a box of 12 chicken dippers only to find there were only 11 in the box not 12,

bought Birds eye chicken battered fillets in a special deal at our co op store. Cooked exactly as the packet. Did not even taste like chicken.My wife and I both spent the following night in the toilet . Still feeling rough the following day. Never again with Birds Eye.

Tasty Mediterranean pasta but, the packaging rips way too easily

Bought the 'plant protein' version of these burgers from Birds Eye by mistake (or is it, why could I find none of the normal ones a week later?).

Tasted like a pile of manure. Horrible texture. Zero onion taste. I don't want this rubbish, I want the recipe as it was. Eff anyone who thinks this is a good idea. Birds Eye you are morons. Expensive and crap and I want my money back.

I’m dying at the reviews.
I found something odd in my steam fresh meal. Contacted this company on WhatsApp and submitted my complaint and a video.
They respond saying how can I help you as if they didn’t read the message and then conclude the message if you don’t respond in an hope saying contact us again if you have any other concerns. It just went round and round as no one is able to scroll up or give the common courtesy of allowing you time to respond. I was just as mad about the customer service as I was about finding some odd white chunk thing in my food!

I will defend Birds Eye, they immediately resolved a problem I had and I'm very impressed. Perhaps if they read enough of the reviews they will change back to how their products used to be but compared to other companies they are very kind and considerate here's 5 stars for outstanding customer service.

Bought these chips on offer, and got 4 boxes for the freezer.
They're barely edible! (Two packs have gone in the bin! ).
Am surprised birds eye have put their name to them .
I suggest they look at how Mccain make their microwave chips ..they're far nicer !

I went off their chicken products long ago, always has nasty chewy bits in it.
the fish fingers no longer seem like fish fingers, they don't even break when you bend it in half they're a funny colour, funny texture and taste absolutely vile 😭

Bought free from birdseye gluten free cod fillets, all breadcrumbs no fish ! So disgusting used to be lovely 😡🤬

Bought these fish fingers when my grandsons came to stay, what a disappointment. Tiny and the fish stayed in a grey tasteless lump, I cannot believe how Birdseye can put their name to this and how much they have deteriorated. Practically inedible.
