Bindman & Co Solicitors Arvostelua 

Recently completed a house purchase using these, have to say they were brilliant. In particular Claire Stanton who dealt with all of my enquiries (there were a few!) in a timely manner. Will definitely be using again in future !

We were selling and buying a property and using Bindman for both.

This was my 2nd sale and third purchase never have I dealt with such a professional, courteous and attentive individual as Meraj Sakaria, he is always available, always able to answer questions and is beyond a credit to not only the company but to the whole professional. I will always come back for any future moves that are required.

Called over 7 times for conveyance services after being recommended by Pattisons estate agents.
Absolutely shocking service after being told to wait for correspondence from a Claire Banton and a confirmation email that documents will be posted.

The tone and manner of the receptionist has at all times been very rude and seems they cant be bothered to be there, very unprofessional.

No email and was told Claire will be contact with me, been waiting 25 minutes on the phone while I write this review.

Not sure why I am chasing a company that wants my business.

Anyway instructed another company, dont waste your time with such rudeness.

Andrew looked after my first house purchase and I am very happy with how smoothly the whole process went. Good communication throughout and explained things to me very well. A good experience all round.

Conveyancing solicitors can get a bad press, but Bindman & Co Solicitors, and Meraj Sakaria in particular, was outstanding in the sale and purchase our properties. Meraj was professional, proactive and extremely responsive. I would absolutely recommend Bindman, and if you can get Meraj, then you're on to a winner. Thank you.

Andrew was brilliant. Very responsive and turned paperwork around for my sellers solicitor very quickly to keep the ball rolling. I will definitely use in the future should I need their services. 100% recommend.

I had used Bindman for 4 previous house purchases and always had excellent service. On this occasion, I spoke to one of their solicitors to make sure they could do my conveyancing in the timescales and then sent through all the details. I was told that I should hear back on searches in about 4 weeks. After 4 weeks I emailed and got an automated reply requesting clients not to ask for updates as these wasted staff time in replying. The message gave assurances that although, due to Covid, all staff were working from home, they were doing their utmost to turn cases around.
After 7 weeks, having heard nothing, I rang the office. I was told my solicitor had left 4 weeks previously. His assistant couldn't find any record of my case until eventually she found it in a miscellaneous basket. It had not been progressed. She said she would turn it around straight away and I would receive an email by the end of the day. This didn't happen, so I rang again the next day. Again I was assured I would receive an email by the end of the day.
2 weeks later, I have heard nothing else from the firm and needless to say I have now engaged another firm of solicitors.

Astoundingly rude reception staff and a firm that practices institutionalised demographic racism london or otherwise its an internal lolicy of your company.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - BEWARE !
Beware - Before dealing with Bindman & Co Solicitors I would seriously consider using another solicitor.
We were selling our house and Bindman & Co were the buyers solicitors. We had a tight deadline but it was a reasonable timeframe as we were immigrating and leaving the country, due to this fact we needed confirmed dates for the Exchange & Completion (which was missed 3 times). Unfortunately Bindman & Co's attitude was less than impressive and very unprofessional, they were not co-operative and didn't seem to understand the situation, the buyer was continually contacting them and their lack of action was so frustrating and extremely stressful.
I was so concerned with the situation that I sent an email to Mr Bindman (senior partner) explaining our situation, surprise, surprise, I never got a reply !
Having used 3 different solicitors / conveyancers in the last 18 months Bindman & Co were definitely the worst experience by a country mile through their slow process of action and being deceitful by telling different information to different parties !
Unbelievably Bindman’s even sent someone else’s documentation through to the Buyer.
Purple Bricks after sales agent said they she had never experienced anything like Bindman’s lack of professionalism and being very unhelpful.
As I stated at the beginning of this review, BEWARE - if considering Bindman & Co as your solicitors I would think very carefully with your choice.

Used this firm for a purchase . Great communication always felt fully informed as to what was going on. All emails/ phone calls answered same day . Very professional and great advice. Would definitely use again

I have sold and bought with this firm and I can honestly say it’s been stress free, always kept up to date and done everything they can to push things along when needed. Andrew has been amazing nothing was a problem to him. I would highly recommend.

I have used them several times as I walked away twice because of leak and cladding issue thus the transaction didn’t go through. My experience is mix. They were absolutely great last year and early this year , very responsive and patient and even sold the survey to get my money back as my first transaction didn’t go through. COVID sees to be watershed as they were swamped and even worked over weekends. No life, just work. Therefore I understand some people here complain about lack of communication, bad experience, no response etc. That was sort of my feeling. I could’ve given them 5 star if this was Jan, but I have to take 1 star out because of the service recently. I still appreciate their help a lot. And their quote is very reasonable much better than that offered by London companies. And I really wish they can hire more people or even contractors to share the burden during this high volume time, so that to continue provide great service as they used to.

Excellent service. I was very happy with this firm. Les Bindman and his team assisted me with the sale of a property, in particular Meraj worked extremely hard to ensure the sale completed. Meraj was always available for help and advice during the process. I would not hesitate to use this firm again.

I am quite relaxed and happy not because I got the key today, because I dont have to follow up and keep waiing for thier responses of my several emails, call backs. I think Its my responsibility to put my right feedback then other people can get info and this firm can work towards it to make it better. I am not saying they are bad but defienietly I got bad experience. This may be because less numer of staff or covid-19 or else. But I am done my friend.
When this solicitor has been assigned by estate agent I prefred to go with. I have been asked to pay £600 extra because of bridge loan on top (may be the case but not sure) and justified as extra work required so need extra charge. My mortatge sorted out at early stage and all ready to go 2 weeks back but no one responded even when I asked to do completion before as every party is ready. However I kept the original date in mind and keep following by emails and calling them. I sent twice the documents and asked if all ok but latermore than a week after calling I found there is error in signature, again i signed and sent. I have been assigned someone else for my case and she has sent email once or twice and never come back and spoke and then I started to work with someone else (thats no an issue but he was also not very supportive in start but later yes, he did ;) ). never got good response and good talks.. always frustrating. when the date was nearer I escalated to higher authority and got email back people are working. I am not sure but I wanted to make sure if all good to completion on said date . but when I call then I get chance to speak someone and they said I will get call back. but dont get call back many times. however keep trying I got to hold of one person and l begged please have a look, atleast he understood and start picking my call and start talking, My problem was I can't turn back because of date slippage may cause loss. I bought property in auction so I could loose 10% deposit and 3.5 % fee to autction company so I was at stake. I reliasd the fact that they don't see the emails until you call and say . I am grateful to the mortatge advisior who has contact to my lender and he was updating me from seller side sol what is pending and what not got in documents.. entire team was furstrated from seller solicitor, mortatge advisior and myself offcourse. On the day of completeion seller sol has not received the documents which had been posted 2days and date missed for 1 day :). however a day later completion done and I am relaxed and happy becauuse tomoorw I don't have follow anyone. lastly I would apreciate the person atleast who done my work at the end but entire journey was not good. I know they may be professional but this should reflect in your service guys.

Andrew and team communicated well with us during our purchase proceedings. The process was painless, particularly through the COVID-19 period.

We had previously used them as solicitors for a guarantor arrangement for a relative, this was equally as smooth.

We will be using them again for sure.
