My daughter is a very petite 5yo who went from an indoor baby push bike, to a generic, small and lightweight balance bike, to a heavier Strider 12” balance bike, to the original Biky 14 with the single handbrake (before the “Air” came out with dual handbrakes) and I do not regret it one bit. It was a big purchase for us that we made based on lots of research, and since it was pricey and we couldn’t “try before you buy,” we were a bit nervous. But it was the lightest and smallest bike (shortest inseam) on the market so we went ahead and got it. I’m so glad we did. She was able to ride on her own with very little help on her first serious time trying it out (as shown in video)—her first 2-wheel pedal bike. I’m sure having mastered the balance bike and the added motivation to earn a bike bell helped, but I really do believe she wouldn’t have had the motivation or confidence to try if we had gotten a bigger, heavier bike that she'd have difficulty controlling or holding upright.

The customer service is also unmatched. My daughter is attending a bike camp this week and she realized how nice it was to have a kickstand like all the other kids who didn’t have to put their bike on the ground. I contacted customer service to find out what type of bolt and nut to get bc the third party kickstand we got had issues after trying out two kinds. They kindly warned me that the kickstand in my photo was not safe or compatible with the bike, and sent me a free kickstand instead that they tested for safety and compatibility (they are currently working on adding a compatible kickstand to their line which isn’t out yet). The reply and the resolution came so quickly. I then noticed that one of the front wheel’s bolt and nut was gone somehow and decided to also ask if they had a spare part since I didn’t find one online on their site. I requested the name of the parts to see if I can buy it online or locally, or just pay them for the parts if they had one available to send. To my surprise, they went ahead and added the spare parts that were missing, free of charge, to the kickstand that hadn’t yet shipped because they were so quick at replying. I was not expecting this as I had ordered a trending online-only bike before for myself and did NOT get the same great customer experience.

As an online bike company, I was originally worried I'd have difficulty finding spare parts, or that it would be a hassle to even contact someone for the help I needed. But this company found a way to mitigate both those fears. Not only they have nailed the specs, performance, aesthetics, and quality of the bike itself, but more importantly they got the customer service right: the ease of contact, the timely, friendly, helpful, and empathetic communication, and the effort to go above and beyond to ensure we got the help we needed with as little effort possible on my end. They have proven themselves to be the kind of company that genuinely cares and appreciates their customers—the kind I'd happily recommend to as many parents I know.

To be honest, I only planned on getting just one Biky bike, just to help her transition to her first 2-wheeler with pedals. But Biky has earned my loyalty as a customer—as long as I am able, I plan to continue buying from Biky as my daughter grows out of each size. Thank you Danil and Alina for all your help!

Professional and courteous communication, above and beyond assistance, quick shipping, and best of all a high-quality (and awesomely lightweight) bike that was easy to assemble. My daughter (a hesitant rider) jumped right on and took off with confidence. It was a bigger size from her previous bike, but she found it easy to maneuver and not intimidating at all. Huge win!!

The 16" Biky bike we bought is working great for our 4 year old; the transition from a 14" to 16" was very smooth. Excellent communication and shipping was quick. Would we buy again? Yes, we are very satisfied.

I was looking for a bike for my 7-year-old granddaughter. The 20-inch Biky Bike was the perfect weight and dimensions for her. After receiving the bike, the quality is outstanding and I would highly recommend purchasing one to any of my family or friends. Customer service and shipping were perfect.

We have the 20 inch single speed bike. My daughter loves her lightweight, zippy new bike! It was out of stock when we ordered it, and delivery was delayed, but Biky's communication was excellent throughout. Most importantly, though, the product is just what we were looking for in a bike: simple, comfortable, and fun to ride. My daughter is 7 and fairly light - at just over 40 pounds, many bikes her size weigh more than 50% of her body weight. Even her smaller old bike, which is 2 or 3 years old, still tops that threshold. She was thrilled the first time she hit the big hills in our neighborhood with the new bike. Each ride brings more joy. Oh, and assembly was simple and straightforward. We are happy all around, and already on plan to get the geared 24 inch bike when she outgrows this one.

We have been searching for a bike forever that works for our daughter. She picked up riding this Bike within the first 20 minutes. Truly amazing experience great bike easy to control. Could not recommend getting this bike for your first bike for your kids.

The bike was delivered promptly and it was very easy to set up. my 5-year-old was excited to add all the stickers to his new bike and within 2 minutes he learned how to ride a bike without training wheels. we have been using a balance bike but he wasn't an expert on it so I thought it would take a little longer for him to learn and to my delight, he picked it up quickly. it is super light for a novice.

My 6.5 y/o son loves his Biky Bike! He learned to ride on a heavy bike with coaster brakes about a week and a half before we got his Biky Air 20. He noticed the difference between the two bikes immediately and wants to ride his Biky Air multiple times a day. :) My husband had no trouble putting the bike together. The Biky Air 20 is so lightweight and clearly has high quality components. It is easy for him to handle, and the hand brakes were a very simple transition for him. I put a piece of blue tape on the rear wheel brake (right hand), and he caught on right away. I am so happy with this purchase! It gives me so much joy to see my son so happy and free.

This bike is amazing. We got it for my 5 year old for Christmas, and it completely changed his confidence riding a bike. I originally looked at the Guardian bikes because they’re one of the better-known kids bike brands, but once I compared weights, they really weren’t much lighter than the bike my son already had and struggled to learn on. Since he only weighs 38 lbs, having a lightweight bike was extremely important.

I started researching the lightest kids bikes on the market. Woom was another option, but they were significantly more expensive and still not as lightweight as the Biky Bike. Even though Biky Bikes isn’t as widely known, the reviews were great and the price was much more reasonable, so we decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad we did.

My son literally taught himself to ride on this bike. He hopped on and took off with almost no struggle compared to his old bike. The lightweight frame made a huge difference, and I’m sure the steering limiter helped too since it prevents those sharp turns that can cause kids to tip over while learning.

We got the 16” model with only the rear hand brake, which I actually think is perfect for beginners. He can build muscle memory using the rear brake first, and then when he moves up to a larger bike with both brake handles, he’ll already understand which brake to use first. The Tektro rear brake also feels very smooth and easy for small hands to use.

There are a lot of thoughtful kid-focused features on this bike that really stand out. The fully enclosed Hebie chain guard is fantastic because it keeps pants and shoelaces out of the chain — something I remember constantly dealing with as a kid myself. The narrow kid-specific geometry makes pedaling feel much more natural and comfortable for smaller riders.

I also appreciated details like the quick-release seat adjustment for easy height changes, the internal cable routing that keeps everything clean and safer, and the air tires that give a much smoother ride than the hard tires found on cheaper kids bikes. Overall, this bike feels extremely well designed for helping kids learn confidently and safely. Absolutely worth it.
