Bike Tours Fyn Arvostelua 

We rented bikes from Bike Tours Fyn for a 9-day tour starting in Odense and traveling through Southern Jutland, the island of Ærø, and then the east coast of Funen. The equipment provided was perfectly suited for this self-guided tour. We really appreciated the easy email communication with Line and Mick, the bike delivery service to our chosen hotel, and the assistance we received to swap a bike when we ran into a minor issue. We highly recommend Bike Tours Fyn.

The routes were fantastic, such varied scenery and so fun to cycle. Some of the hotels were above and beyond special and we would even love a layover day at the GI Avernaes and also in Middlefart. Line and Mick set us up with great bikes and naviki navigation along with so many points of interest flagged. I had so many questions about the bikes before booking and they survived all of them

The bikes were nice and looked new. The owner was very helpful and kind. Would recommend to rent a bike here. Parking was on the street in front of the house so also perfect.

Excellent road descriptions with a surprising welcome AND goodbye gift. Excellent hotels. Safe bike roads with limited gravel.

We had an outstanding experience with Bike Tours Fyn on the “Taste Funen – 8 Days Cycling Holiday.” We booked the tour from 21.6.2026 to 28.6.2026. In addition, the hotel stay from Friday to Sunday was arranged for us, and the bikes were provided in advance. Everything was handled smoothly and in a very straightforward and professional manner.

The entire trip was exceptionally well organized, from the carefully planned routes to the seamless logistics between accommodations. The itinerary struck a perfect balance between scenic countryside, charming coastal stretches, and cultural highlights, making every day feel varied and rewarding.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful touches at both the beginning and the end of the tour. These little surprises are not something you would necessarily expect, and we really appreciated the extra effort, it made the whole experience feel even more special.

What truly stood out was the quality and reliability of the bicycles. For a multi-day tour, having dependable bikes is absolutely crucial, and these were excellent. The bikes were in superb condition, comfortable for long distances, and clearly very well maintained, which made a huge difference for enjoying the tour without any concerns.

The navigation and route planning were also excellent, allowing for a stress free experience while still offering flexibility to explore. Combined with the beautiful landscapes of Funen, this created a perfect cycling holiday. We would highly recommend Bike Tours Fyn and would gladly book with them again.

We just finished an excellent 6 day bike tour on Fyn. The Electric bikes were fully equipped, the routes were easy to follow and some hotels were nicely located near the beach 🤩. The scenery was awesome but sometimes challenging 😅. The roads aren't always flat 😜. We enjoyed it very much and certainly recommend Bike tour Fyn!! Karel, Sofie and Siska from Belgium.

Our family of five (three teens) rented beautiful, comfortable, well maintained touring bikes for 10 days to bike from Svenborg - søllested - Marielyst - Bogo By - Mon Klint - vordingborg - Karresbarkminde- Agerso - Kerteminde- Odense. We each had two 25L saddle bags and a front pouch, giving us plenty of space to store our items. Tires were great (no flats) and the seats were the most comfortable we have had! This is a family run operation so you will need to travel to their house 20 minutes outside Odense if you are just renting bikes from them (we took an uber). A safe lovely bike trail leads you back to Odense if this is where you are starting a self guided tour from. Note - not easy to get an uber for 5 people (and public transportation is a bit tricky) but doable. Bikes on trains can also be an operation (often no space) so be prepared for this if you are doing the trip independently. Overall, the best self guided family ride we have done!

Wunderbare Tour durch die Landschaft von Fynen. Wir hatten die Tour "der Geschmack von Fynen" gebucht, und es war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Abwechslungsreiche Landschaft, schöne Strände, Fischerdörfer, Herrenhäuser, Parks und vieles mehr. Für uns Pensionisten war bei diesen Streckenlängen mit ordentlichem Gegenwind sicher gut dass wir E-Bikes hatten. Bei Fragen und Problemen waren Line und Mick stehts erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Der Gepäcktransport hat bestens geklappt und die Hotels waren mehrheitlich komfortabel, zum Teil in Herrenhaus und altem Schloss mit wunderbaren Parks. Alles in allem super und Empfehlenswert! Sogar mein verlorengeglaubter Geldbeutel wurde gefunden und mir von Bike Tours Fyn in die Schweiz nachgeschickt..... Danke an Line und Mick.

When things did not work as expected, Mik was great.
We found the bikes sluggish compared to our Trek and Scott bikes back in New Zealand.
Mik’s parents went above and beyond when it came to service! We needed to skip biking on the last day and travelled by car with them. They followed our bike route where possible and stopped at the Mobile shop especially for us…alas it was Saturday and shut.
Our luggage was always at the next stop….no problems.
The accommodation was always good though some rooms were very tiny for 2 singles.
Restaurant meals were very good, but very expensive for what we are used to.
Mik was not very responsive in the initial stages but everything came right.
The storage facilities at each place were often out of the way and the Receception people seemed to have little clue if they had plugs for charging. As it happened all of them did have plugs.
All in all a fantastic experience and we loved seeing the Danish countryside up close. Strongly recommend…pity I couldn’t give it 4.75 stars instead of just 4! 🤣❤️🚴‍♀️

Fyn Bike tour was very fine !
Nice and quiet ways, cycling paths and small roads. We appreciated the different locations.
Efficient help to repair a flat tyre in Faaborg, that allow us to visit the city museum during the reparation.

Mick & his team were so responsive to all of our questions & needs throughout the week of Aug 17-23, 2025 for the 3 of us traveling together. Our only request is that they update the e-bikes. The hotel choices were superb & as described in our pre-tour information. Thank you for the goodie bags at each stop which we looked forward to at each stop!

We had a wonderful week of cycling on Funen. Many thanks for the great organization and support. Mick took excellent care of us and was very responsive to our wishes. Thank you for that. The scenery was beautiful, the weather was great and the hotels were well chosen. We were traveling with two children (13 years) and they managed the distance very well. The only challenge was finding cafés or restaurants along the route. All in all, we had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Perfect info to start with. The manager was on the spot in the hotel when we picked up the seemingly brand new bikes. He seemed to be a real enabler, a facilitator. Indeed, all was perfecty facilitated: Luggage movements, the trip info, the tracks, boat tickets, bikes, hotels, goody bags, our lost tour booklet. Even the weather was suited.

We had a wonderful time during our 8 days Funen Bike Tour. To start with the choice of hotels was excellent. Good comfortable rooms and really nice locations. The e-bikes were solid and in good working order. Long enough battery life for all the daytrips. You cycle from post card to post card view on the beautiful Fyn. Last but not least: the staff of Bike Tours Fyn is wonderful. Mik is available for problems that occur. And at every daily stop a paper bag with a local yummie surprise - can’t tell you or it would not be a surprise anymore - is waiting for you. Also the transport service dor the luggage worked perfectly. Great ewperience. Thank you for delvering us a great week on the Fyn island!

From the get-go, Mick and Bike Tours Fyn were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We arranged all of the logistics from California, and arrived to find everything exactly as described and ready for our trip. My son and I headed out for a five day (250km) tour of Fyn on solid rented bikes with top-of-the-line panniers from Bike Tours Fyn, and always felt secure that our bikes were in tip top shape (even if we weren't always quite ready for relentless up&down and unexpected heat+wind). We headed out to the south and west, stopping at Gl. Brydegaard the first night for amazing food and rest, and then across the southern part of the island before heading back from a last magical stop at Broholm Slot. The equipment was great, the timing was perfect, and Bike Tours Fyn helped make what could have been a complicated trip into a fantastic journey across a fairy tale landscape.

Het was een heel leuke ervaring ! De fietsen waren heel goed en brachten ons moeiteloos door de prachtige omgeving ! Misschien de keuze laten tussen gravel en gewone weg op sommige stukken want dat is voor mij niet ontspannend .ook vonden we dat er te weinig tijd was of te ver om iets te bezoeken ..misschien indien mogelijk de etappes wat inkorten zodat je onderweg veel kan bezoeken .De hotels waren heel goed ..de ontbijten ongelooflijk lekker en gevarieerd .. we gaan het zeker aan anderen aanraden !

We enjoyed the tour very much, there was never a moment that we were disappointed in what you offered and what it turned out to be.
We enjoyed every day of the tour which we did in twelve days (we had a day off after each journey). Our trip was in total slightly over 500 kms whereas the tour itself was some 260 kms. It means that we did many of the recommended detours as well as unorganized short trips round the places where we stayed.

While staying in Svendborg we made a tour round the island Vindeby visiting amongst others Valdemars Slot and Troense. Crossing the high bridge gives wonderful sights over Svendborg!
The boat trip to Ærøskøbing and biking around the island Ærø was really beautiful, so was the ferry trip to Faaborg from Søby.
During our day off at Faaborg in the afternoon we cycled to Dyreborg, Sinebjerg, Horne and Bjerne.
Our journey from Faaborg to Brydegård went so fast that we decided to go on to Assens to see what that was like before we went to back to check in at Gl. Brydegaard, a hotel in a lovely setting!
Our day off at Brydegård we spent riding to Agernæs, Helnæs Fyr and Helnæs Strand. A very nice and recommendable sightseeing tour.
The trip from Faaborg to Middelfart was very varied regarding the sights you have underway: farmers working on agricultural land, waste land, sea sights, hills, cattle grazing, small towns: very attractive.
Middelfart offers a lot of opportunities: the Clay Museum and the port, we made during our day off a trip to Strib Fyr and its surroundings: lovely sights, we saw a few porpoises near Strib Fyr. The sights to and from Den Nye Lillebæltsbro are beautiful.
Back in Odense we enjoyed the city life: students, cyclists, people just being there and shopping, eating, drinking make it a lively town. Our extra day in Odense brought us amongst other to the Odensefjord, the Filosofengangen and the southern part of the city with the beautiful villas (Læssøegade, Sadolinsgade, Kastanievej etc) ending at Skovsøen.

Because of the itinerary we received before we left home, the “Welcome to Odense” paper, the Naviki navigation and the “brown bags” at every stop, we were very well prepared for the trip.

In summary: the trip was very nice, people at Fyn are friendly we enjoyed the bike tour very much and would give it a score of 9 (out of 10)!

Es ist einfach wunderschön dort auf dem Fahrrad. Ich bekam auch einen Helm und eine sehr gute Satteltasche. Die Hotels waren alle sehr freundlich und komfortabel.

Smag på Fyn ble hver dag en opplevelse. Gule rapsåkre, blå sjø, grønne vekster, gode dufter. Rolige timer på sykkel gjennom små landsbyer, forbi slott og herregårder. Spesielt utvalgte hoteller om kvelden, hvor bagasje og hyggelige overraskelser ventet. Trygge steder å parkere egne sykler.
Turen var perfekt tilrettelagt av Bike Tours Fyn.
Det er vanskelig å beskrive turen bedre, den bør oppleves!
