Bike Happy Cycle Training Arvostelua 

Yesterday I went for my cycling lesson with Darren, I was very nervous and very self aware! He immediately put me at ease, taking us to a quieter part of the park and he structured the lesson in small steps, offering encouragement and advice all along the way. I didn’t really believe I’d be riding a bike in one afternoon but I was cycling around Regent’s park in no time. Darren was a delight to be with and I ended up having lots of fun.

This was something I’d put off for a long time and it felt like an impossible task, so I’ve not only learnt a life skill but come away feeling really proud of myself. Thank you so much Darren!

So I was quite worried spending a lot of money on bike lesson for my 5 year old son but it was every penny and worth the investment for my sons life skill.

Darren is such a support throughout even before the lessons, helping me choose the correct bike for my son for loan for the lessons. He would always get back to any questions I had and made my son feel so excited and special at each lesson. The lessons were fun and he could balance and cycle by day one, by day 3 he was off and about on his own. I highly recommend Darren for lessons, he excelled knowledge, customer service and great with children.
Now my son wants to ride his bike everyday, even in the rain!

Darren is lovely and filled my son with the confidence and competence he needed to start riding. My son is feeling so happy and proud of himself for his accomplishment. I couldn’t believe how quickly he learned - we had tried to teach him ourselves and we had an instructor from another school who had no luck, but Darren got him pedaling independently after one lesson!

Darren is a wonderful man with a fantastic approach to kids. My son who’s 5, has also sensory processing differences and hyper mobility, loved his sessions and learnt to ride the bike after the first session, honing in on the skills the remaining two sessions! Thank you Darren! ☺️

Darren is incredible. I would recommend him to everyone. My daughter was a reluctant learner and within five minutes of being with Darren she was obsessed with cycling. We now cant get her off her bike!

Darren was exceptionally personable, clearly passionate about cycling and getting adults comfortable out on the road. His guidance is clear and he is happy to push you as much as you want to be pushed.

I had such a great afternoon with Darren learning how to ride at bike and I am pleased to say that after our session I was able to comfortably ride a bike! Really can't believe i was able to do it and it was all thanks to Darren.

Darren has a fantastic approach, very calming, encouraging and supportive. If you are worried about getting frustrated, don't be! Darren is the person to keep you calm and focussed.

My 3 year old daughter was transitioning from a balance to pedal bike when I contacted Darren. She did 3 1-hour lessons with Darren and was literally riding on her own after the first session. The last two sessions then focused on turning, stopping and spatial awareness. Darren was exceptionally patient and creative in maintaining her focus (which is difficult to do with a 3 year old!). Would highly recommend Darren!

A really good training session in Southwark Park, which is a great venue - quiet, pleasant dogwalkers, good parking and pathways in excellent condition. Trainer Darren is a lovely guy and a superb trainer: extremely knowledgeable, very encouraging, helpful well beyond the point of duty. I still can't ride a bike but I know what I need to work on and where I need to be before I book another lesson, which I fully intend to do. I couldn't recommend bikehappy more highly, they're great. My husband has just booked a class on the strength of my experience, so 👍

Darren from the start was amazing to work with, flexible and super helpful as we were a group of 8 children, all at different cycling levels! All the children loved their 1:1 lessons whether it was learning to cycle experience or building on their abilities. Darren was amazingly calm and responsive to the children. All round brilliant experience and highly recommend.

I booked a lesson with Darren to get comfortable on a bike again after not having ridden one for many years, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Darren did a great job of patiently guiding me through the process step by step, and we ended up going for a great ride through two parks and even went on the road for a bit! I had fun during my lesson, too, because he was so easy to talk to. I’d highly recommend bike happy to anyone looking to get comfortable cycling.

Bike happy with their wonderful instructor were able to get my 16 year old cycling within 20 mins, he’s been out on his bike every day since - I thought he would never learn - very happy parent and highly recommend Bike Happy for anyone of any age wanting to ride a bike :-)

I’ve always wanted to learn how to ride a cycle but thought I’d just become too old for it or too comfortable driving around the city everywhere. However, with a little encouragement from my wife, I took it up. In a little over two hours I was comfortable with riding the bike up and down the park paths. I’m going to keep practicing but the initial feeling of just getting it was something I’ll never forget.
Darren did an incredible job breaking it down and making it sound simpler than it actually was. An excellent teacher.
