Since starting my business I've had a few hurdles like everyone but any issues or questions have been promptly addressed by the Big Cartel team, so glad I've been associated with them for these past years!

I wanted to find a space to post some hand made silver jewelry and cabachons. I looked to see who my favorite sellers were using, and looked at several online marketplace options and Big Cartel was a top contender. I tried a one month subscription to see how easy (or difficult) it would be for someone with no website experience to create a page and this definitely did the job, so I upgraded to the one year subscription. I've had to use customer service for something I didn't understand, and Ana was very patient and helpful.

The platform is easy to use if all you want to do is sell. Customizing is a bit tricky.

Straightforward and easily customizable page layout and seller friendly formatting

Very hard to post items and the customer doesn't help much at all.

This was the perfect interface for trying something new. I had a design for a concert poster that people liked. I looked the logistics of having it printed and the costs associated with the effort. I wanted an easy-to-use selling platform and one that didn't require much in the way of a service/commission fees. I gave this a try and was not disappointed. It integrates with various shipping platforms and is a breeze to use. It doesn't rob artists to of their sales, which is quite refreshing (considering the other 4-letter platform out there). I recommend!

Big Cartel makes it very easy to setup an e-commerce site. There are a bunch of templates and a few different priced tiers to choose from. The most recent update has a few bugs in it though but I'm sure those will be smoothed out.

Everything is prepared for e-selling, with nice designs. Sellors just have to fill in with pictures and infos! Simple and quick to use. Translation in other languages would help though.

Really easy to set up your shop and lots of help if you need it. Many templates that you can use. Affordable plans.
