Shop setup on Big Cartel so easy
Setting up a shop on Big Cartel is incredibly easy. By far, the easiest platform I have used. The free plan is a great way to start where you can choose a different one whenever you are ready.

Cost effective and professional
The overall site cost to compared to that of the competitors are is relatively low. It was easy to set up my site as the set up process is step by step. You can even create a business email for less than 5 bucks a month. I would recommend Big Cartel to anyone!

More money, worse service
Began charging more to actively make the site more convoluted and harder to use. This is not just my failure to adapt. Have had multiple exchanges with staff (prompted first to advise by ai ofc lol) where they admit something is awry with no site solution. I trust this place less with my income every day and am looking for alternatives.

I'm an artist just getting started selling. I tried Square first and found it almost completely dysfunctional; constant lags and breakdown, unnecessarily complicated systems, page designs that weren't really designed with artists in mind, horrible customer service. Almost everything with BigCartel so far has been seamless. I'm super impressed and grateful!

I had tried to build an online store using several other platforms prior to finding Big Cartel. Big Cartel has been by far the easiest to setup and manage. It's so easy, a caveman could do it!

Great website
It's an easy set-up if you are not website savvy. The prices are amazing, if you sell on other platforms that take sooooo maannnnny fees this one doesn't. You should try it it's awesome.
