I love Apple's products and support. Everything just works and the products last for many years. Sure, they slow down after some time but that is to be expected.

Our family owns a macbook pro, an Apple iphone and four ipads. We are also Windows and Linux users. Apple Computer has already been caught out slowing down older iphones in an attempt to force people to upgrade their phones. Just waiting for more lawsuits regarding laptops, older iPads, etc. The "updates" they are constantly sending out (if you haven't noticed, take your devices off of auto update and see how often you have to manually update after that!) include code that intentionally interferes with full functionality of your older Apple devices. Apple was built on the reliability of their products, how long they would last and how stable the operating systems were....at some point in the past decade or so Apple realized that building a long-lasting reliable product eats into the bottom line of profits and Apple answers to its shareholders. As a result, the quality of their products has decreased substantially in terms of dependability. Even the Apple forums are rarely able to resolve issues that pass from o/s to o/s version. If it weren't for a couple of key features (icloud allowing accessibility across all Apple devices being the primary one) I would switch back to primarily Linux. As it is, as soon as there are other acceptible options for device interconnectivity, I will be exiting from the Apple product market.

Like others I have used Macs (and all things Apple) for my personal setups since 2000. Mac OSX saw a paradime shift in the Mac platform and fortune. With the reinstating of Steve Jobs as CEO at the time, the refocusing on the user experience (for the average user) saw a return of fortune. Many here are clearly here to focus on how much money Apple makes, but that is what you get when you release products people like and want. All consumer electronics use cheep labour in the Far East too keep costs down. Apple regularly reviews and publishes their progress on working conditions and environmental impact (unlike others).

Self builders and “PC hobbiests” will complain about the lack of user upgradability and the “walled garden”, but for most normal users of the average computer they want something they can turn on and get work done. After all, when was the last time anyone thought about opening up a phone or a tablet to add more RAM etc. Apples computers are designed to last a good few years ( mine have lasted well over 4 each time) and even when I have upgraded, I have given my old tech to someone who didn’t need as much performance and they have had another 2-3 years use.

Basically, if you are not a hobbiest, want the easy computing life and are not shackled to Windows, Apple is definitely worth a look. If you find you don’t like it, their products also hold their value better than other consumer electronics too.

Apple is the greediest company on the face of the earth, literally in the business of cheating the public by selling devices that are exploitable, invade users privacy, compromise performance all to extort end users i to buying newer devices.

The osx Catalina allows Apple to force brick any accessories such as hard drives, wifi, bt cards even soldered unto the machines mother board and all in the name of greed and monopoly with China 🇨🇳 to assure no competitors or rivals even exist,

I have My IMac now 6 years.
And Apple has declared it since yesterday obsolete.
Reason? Apple introduced a new IOS and decided that it is not available for my IMac.
So it seems they try to force me to buy a new IMac. Never!

I bought a new apple computer in October 2020 with a rechargeable mouse and keyboard. At the end of December the mouse and keyboard needed to be recharged, but wouldn't recharge! I contacted Apple twice, first time they had me reset somethings on the computer and still no recharge! Second time it was determined the charge cord was bad! Their answer was they would send me a new cord but I would have to mail the old cord back at my cost! I paid $1800.00 for the computer that's worth about $350.00 in reality and they're to cheap just to send a new cord! Plus they were going to charge me $22.00 if I did not mail the old cord back! Apple is a cheapskate company! Plus they help yo cancel Parler a conservative app, so they suck even more! I have purchased my last Apple product!

Apple has acknowledged that certain recent generation of their keyboards are not good - and therefore are changing these without hesitation. Now, in order to get that they need a authorized service center to determine that the keyboard is broken... only then can they order a new keyboard - maybe fair enough. But then the repair center is forced to keep the computer in the repair center for the time it takes Apple in Holland to send a new one... meaning that you have to be without your computer for several days.. stupid and customer unfriendly process that Apple is unwilling to change. Apple, get real or loose us as a customer.. Apple did not care when speaking to them this morning..

My still new and under warranty MacBook pro just stopped dead and was sent to their repair shop. It has sat there for 3 weeks not been looked at. I have been without a computer for 4 weeks. Absolutely deplorable service. About to register a Better Business Bureau complain.

I have been using Apple Computers, iPhones, iPads, iPods, iPads, Apple Watches, etc...for more than 20 years. From my first Performa 6205CD with it's 1GB Hard Drive (lol) to my Flower Power iMac to my current i7 iMac I have loved their products. A terrific company.
