this company are a scam basically - thought I'd just paid 95p for a one off job next thing they're taking forty quid for a "subscription" which is "non- refundable" It's basically extortion so beware of this lot

Originally charge .88cent
Then came the bang €39.95 hit my credit card.

I contacted Best pdf immediately and pointed out to them that their Terms and conditions make no mention whatsoever of the actual amount of the ''subscription'' leading people to mistakenly believe that the nominal amount of .88 cent is the complete / final charge.

After a lot of toing and froing emails with ''No refund'' being the repeated response
I made them aware that under Eu law'' Dark Pattern'' as defined under the EU Digital Services Act(DSA) 2024 is illegal and can be contested in European courts
The company are based in Cyprus and are therefore subject to this law

I received total within 30 minutes.

Please do not use this company.
After trying their product and finding it unsuitable I cancelled my account , all within a day.
Two months later and I discovered they have charged me £80 for 2 months of subscription. No invoices sent regarding the monthly charges, so until you check your bank statement you dont realise.
Tried contacting them, they are a disgrace.

I needed to upload a photo of a certain size, so looked on Google and found this company. It apeared to offer a one off use for 95p so I paid the 95p uploaded my photo and thought no more of it. A week later I noticed an impending transaction for £39.95p.I checked it out and found that Best PDF was trying to set up a monthly subscription. I immediately emailed them and they replied saying that the subscription had been cancelled they also refunded the 95p. I kept watching the impending transaction and on Saturday the money was taken. I have contacted thwm today Sunday 22nd March only to be told payments made through our website are non refundable despite the fact that the payment was not taken untill 6 days after the Subscription was cancelled.
Do not use this company it is clearly set up in such a way that it can take £39.95p from anyone who uses the site even if they do cancel the subscription in time. A Scam !

Can I give minus 10 stars? Used it for one pdf download or something. Costed me $1 as I remember well but there small letters somewhere I guess because I just found out that the charged me 3 x 39,95. As I do not use me creditcard very often. Hope the cancellation worked. Pathetic people if you find joy in getting rich scamming people. And of course yes I should have checked it better, I should have checked my creditcard more often but as I see here I wasn't the only one.

Total scam! Misleading and deceptive practice. They make you think is 95cents for one PDF but secretly signs you up for a free trail without consent.

Disgusting. I received no email from this company giving terms of use. I have been deducted monthly amount of $56 and I’m not even using the product.this is a scam. DO NOT BUY

Scam. Charged 99p for PDF which didn’t even work and then a couple weeks later £49 charge. READ REVIEWS. DO NOT USE. People like this will get what they deserve one day.

Do not use this company. I literally used for 2 minutes to take away some blur on a photo. I paid £0.95 on apple pay for the photo to download to my photo library. A week later and I checked my bank account and they have taken £39.95 subscription out. I have contacted the company for a full refund and they put £0.95 back in my account. I contacted them again asking for the other £39.00, no response yet. Contacted my back and they can not do anything until the money has left my account as it is pending now. Scam scam scam, please do not use.

Edit, please contact your bank after the payment of £39.95 has left your account. They will step in and give you your money back. Also email the company and ask for a refund 1st then the bank knows you have tried to recover the money 1st.

The absolute worst! Misleading and will not give you a refund.

This website uses a misleading pricing model. I paid $0.95 for what looked like a one-time PDF service, only to be charged £39 days later.

The subscription is not clearly disclosed, and the way it is presented feels like a deliberate attempt to mislead users.

I did not knowingly agree to any recurring payment and have had to escalate this through my bank.

Be extremely cautious — this is not as straightforward as it appears.

The website is a scam, charged me twice and the translation feature doesn't work. Thankfully I paid with PayPal and got a full refund.

such a scam. Paid and the whole document is not readable(mandarin however it has a mandarin selection, wtf)

Be very careful and read every word or they will rip you off. Asked for a refund and got nothing only wanted 1 page and thought I'd paid for that.
