Looks like I've been scammed. Shoes haven't arrived, no contact from them. Not a UK company, and I fell hook, line, and sinker for the sob story of two retiring gents.

Now they have challenged my chargeback!

This is simply a scam. What are passed off as orthopaedic shoes made of leather by craftsmen are totally unwearable junk made of rubbish materials. Barely suitable to use as a sloppy pair of carpet slippers. Don’t even think about placing an order with these scammers.

Placed my order for a vastly reduced in cost a pair of Shoes from Bennet and Mason who were supposed to be retiring based in London , that was 3 weeks ago! They have just arrived from China and to say I wouldn’t even do the gardening in them is an understatement! I will not throw them in the bin but give them to a charity, so a little good news .

The sizing is awful and unusually for shoes were not boxed.I ordered size 13 no where near a 13.

I’d give zero, it’s a total scam. Products are terrible quality and don’t resemble images on the site

This is a total scam. Avoid this site like the plague.

This is somewhere between a poor company/service and a scam. I saw an instagram ad talking about a shop closing down, supporting British businesses, clearances etc. while on a delayed train journey boredom won and I made an order. All goods came from china after a month (no shop is actually closing down anywhere), quality was appalling, and sizes were all wrong.

Trying now to recover my money with a refund and all my emails are falling on deaf ears. Don’t buy.

This is a sophisticated scam. Everything looks so good and you should get some product.

Except that the product will be a very cheap import (Temu?).

Your credit card company\ bank will probably reject your claim unless the supplied product is clearly faulty.

I was caught by a similar scan last month.

The advertised on the face book as London shop is closing down .and all item in the shop is half price.
I ordered pair shoes and on i found out my item is still in China. Which i wasn't expecting that .
I'm not recommending this shop at all is big scamm ....

AVOID at all costs! I received a very poorly packaged pair of Chelsea boots that had been folded leaving a heavy crease mark and making the boots uncomfortable to wear. No interest in replacing. They offered me a 10% discount, rising to 20% to keep the boots. Making it very difficult to get a refund and trying to frighten me off with talk of high return costs and potential customs delays and charges. Very poor quality and even worse service.

Shoes comfortable but not as robust as I would have hoped. I do not drive in them.

The shoes are not as described. They should have been leather they aren’t. Very poor quality I suspect from China. I also suspect its a scam. Do not buy.

The process of purchase was not as smooth and straightforward as it should have been. At one point, following days without information, I began to believe I’d been scammed!! Not good for buyer or seller. A month later the shoes arrived and were particularly comfortable and should provide my wide feet with the comfort and reliability that I seek. They look attractive too. Very good value at the sale price.

I am pleased with the shoes. Delivery was very slow.

Chinese scammers!
I ordered my apparently British and leather boots and waited for weeks for them to arrive. Excuses about shipping times from abroad seemed odd for a UK company!!
After 4 weeks a pair of terrible quality boots made of plastic arrived from China.
Avoid this “company”’at all costs

The services were excellent, not quite as impressed with the shoes, which I feel lack heel support when walking, perhaps I need to get used to them
