Great pair of trainers, quality is exceptional. Excellent communication and smooth purchase with the company.

It’s been my worst ever purchase online.
The supposed reduced in price quality smart shoe came and it was nothing fit for quality. The sole of the shoes are flimsy and made of rubber.

When I contacted them abt return, I was told I was going to foot all the cost including customs and any other charges that the return might incur.

Then they cheekily trying to help offered me just 20% refund while I keep the package.
Which isn’t a great deal so in my bid to avoid losing more than 50% of my money I decided to take it.

I had bought these shoes to give Out as gifts but they are not worth it and am not sure what to do with them now.

I think these guys are taking customers for granted and we need to be protected from shops like this. What’s the law in this regard to this behaviour.

I saw an advert on Facebook for a shoemaker who was retiring and clearing stock. Having read the advert and the reviews on the post I ordered a pair of boot, supposedly reduced from over £200 to £56 for clearance.
It turns out the company is not London based as advertised but is in China, possibly with a London registered office. I tried to cancel the order but was told it was too late.
I should have checked Trust Pilot first before being duped.

The returns policy is the buyer pays return postage so not really very fair considering the false advertising.
As it happens the boots arrived and are very comfortable and smart but definitely not £200 worth.
The soles are flexible rubber and are already starting to wear after being used just a couple of times.
The upper parts seem well made but I don't think they are real leather.
They are probably worth the £56 but I was so annoyed at the false advertising I can't recommend the company.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Misleading branding – overpriced AliExpress shoes

I ordered two pairs of shoes from Bennet and Mason, expecting premium, branded footwear. What I received was shocking:
• No branded box, no label, no tag, not even a card indicating these were from Bennet and Mason.
• Just two plain pairs of shoes stuffed into cheap plastic.

After comparing them online, I found the exact same models on AliExpress for less than 25% of what I paid. These are generic factory shoes, not designer or luxury in any way. I’ve attached photos for anyone to compare — they’re identical to listings on Chinese wholesale websites.

This feels like a clear case of dropshipping with deceptive branding. They are just reselling cheap imports under a fake name and charging 3–4x the real value. Absolutely unacceptable and misleading to customers.

Avoid this company unless you want to pay luxury prices for budget shoes.

Look lovely feel comfortable, just a shame they are not manufactured in the UK.

Absolute rip off. I asked to send product back and get refund. They refused and gave me 20% back.
Stay away from this company!

The boots are not made by a fictitious couple of bespoke cobblers in the Uk who have gone bust. They are made in China and were never worth £300!
That said they did eventually turn up

Your service is good, but your product isn't. Your advertisement on Instagram is misleading and I have reported it.

Total scam and money ripping of customers. I ordered 4 shoes which they came after 3 weeks from China. The items are very bad quality and not worthy the money I paid.
I requested to return it but customer service made very complicated to do it. They offered me 25% refund and to keep the itmes but I refused. And requested 50% .I advise everyone not to buy anything from this fraudulent company.

Similar experience to others. I expected a quality product, but, after waiting several weeks for delivery, I ended up with a pair of cheap shoes, presumably manufactured somewhere in the far east. They are also the wrong size. The packaging is also suspect and there's no paperwork with the goods. Very disappointed in Bennet and Mason. I will be asking for a full refund. Avoid.

Delivered in a timely manner, good quality, I really liked!

The shoes eventually arrived - very cheap look and feel but you get what you pay for. However, I really object being sold a pair of shoes from a ‘British’ manufacturer when it is obvious it’s Chinese. Like their shoes it’s a cheap trick. Why not just tell the truth in the first place?

You must ignore the drivel about heritage and leather and passion. This is a Chinese company selling cheap lightweight PU shoes.

I was suckered in!

When the shoes arrived I was taken by their near weightlessness. They will last a week outdoors so I’m treating them as slippers. Because they are rubbish, I asked for refund. They offered a 30% discount because returning them to China would be a faff. I took the partial refund. So, the shoes cost £25… which is cheap…

An unusual experience. Bennet and Mason
sounds "UK". Thought I had been scammed when heard order on plane from China but no. Took a while to arrive but shoes were exactly as advertised. Look good. Feel comfortable. Nice soft leather. "Sale" price fine. Soles a bit thinner than used to but relieved after some other reviews.
