Disappointing afternoon tea.
Disappointing afternoon tea.
Sent our teacups back as one badly chipped, the other dirty. They were replaced with one clean and another dirty :(
Staff were friendly and attentive but lack pride, training and attention to detail.
Sandwiches were awful (grated cheese and red pepper - is that the best they can do?). Brioche with prawns was stale.
Scones were good, but the jam was the nastiest, cheapest jam I've ever eaten.
Cakes were terrible. All bought in by the looks. Is the kitchen not capable of doing a couple of fresh cakes (if you aspire to be in the afternoon tea business!)? We left most of them, and I LOVE cakes.
Only one type of tea offered despite several options on the menu.
We were seated in an area with a view of the car park, when there are loads of places where you get a nice forest view.
Everything was sticky. Tables, doors etc.
The whole place smacks of lazy management and lazy staff.
Sorry but for the price this was a dire experience.
