I ordered a Fuji XF 500mm F/5.6 from Baryl photo, on 29th June. Order said it was being prepared on 2nd July and a Royal Mail tracking number was created. The tracking updated on 7th July and said my parcel had been received by Royal Mail. My lens was delivered by 1pm special delivery yesterday 8th July. The lens is brand new and came packed well. I was aware that on the website it said to allow 7-14 days for delivery, and it arrived well within that. I must admit that I was nervous during the wait as I had read several recent negative reviews, but all was well with my order, and it saved me lots of money. This company looks like it has only been established since March, so possibly a few teething problems in the early days, but I would definitely purchase from them again in the future.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS company - A SCAM - do not purchase from them whatever you do!!!!

We ordered a Fujifilm TX30 III on the 7th of June. Despite the website saying of delivery after 3-5 working days, we finally received a Royal Mail tracking link on June 12th. The link sat doing nothing and had no movement on the camera for a whole week. Finally received the camera after 2 weeks and the WRONG camera was delivered. They had sent us a Fujifilm TX30 II - an older version of the camera. I suspect that this was a deliberate move and they were trying to get away with selling old stock - which makes sense as to why the prices are so low.

The customer service has been nothing short of horrendous. We asked for the wrong camera to be returned and to confirm whether they had the correct one in stock. We sent 4 emails asking for this confirmation and we never got it. Just totally ignored. We then sent the camera back and only then did we get an email from them saying that they’ll refund us.

They said it would be 5-7 working days and still we’ve received no refund.

This company is an abomination and I would NEVER again risk saving a couple hundred quid for this absolutely horrendous experience!!!!

Still no delivery of the camera i ordered & no reply’s to my latest email.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share my experience.

I ordered a Sony ZV-E10 camera after saving for months and was really excited to receive it. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.

I was provided with a Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm tracking number, but the tracking has remained on "We're expecting it", indicating that Royal Mail has not received the parcel.

I contacted Royal Mail several times by telephone and also visited my local sorting office in person. On both occasions, I was advised that Royal Mail had not received my parcel and that I should contact the seller.

I contacted Baryl Photo on multiple occasions asking for confirmation that my order had been dispatched and requesting proof that it had been handed to Royal Mail. My questions were not answered, and I have received no response to my most recent emails.

As I have been unable to resolve the matter directly with the seller, I have now opened a PayPal Buyer Protection dispute for an item not received and am awaiting the outcome.

I understand that delays can happen, but honest communication and responding to customers' concerns is essential, especially when they have spent a significant amount of money.

The only way to contact them is email as the don’t have a customer service phone number.

If Baryl Photo resolves this matter by either delivering my camera or issuing a full refund, I will happily update this review to reflect the outcome. However, based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this company.

Ordered a Olympus OM10 Mk iV waited 2 weeks and nothing, had to contact them & cancel order, which was almost Immediately done, I am dissapointed that this Company does not fulfill orders on time or at all.

As with other customers, my order was never processed and the company was unresponsive when chased for updates. Thankfully I paid with a credit card and did not lose out financially. I have reported the website to my credit card provider and the UK fraud authorities.

Do not buy, compete waste of time. Waited 25 days & nothing. Told me the camera was lost it post and they’d send another and never did

Ordered lens based on website saying 5-7 day delivery. 7 days later I enquire and was given a tracking number. By day 10 the tracking number still says "waiting to receive" by Royal Mail. So they created the label but hasn't in fact posted it out. By day 18 I have had enough of the empty promises that "tracking will be updated by 1-2 working days and order delivered by 1pm the next day" - i was told this twice a week apart.
I demanded a refund as clearly theybdont have the lens and havent dispatched it to me (Royal Mail does not take 1-2 days to register a parcel once scanned at drop off!).
Its been 2 days since they said they would cancel the order but no refund given yet. Have opened a case with paypal now.

On time, though I waited a few days it was expected, well packaged, no problems of any sort.

I ordered a camera a month ago, but I still haven't received it. I sent a message to your customer service, but I haven't received a response. I'm worried that this might be a scam. Could you please update me on the status of my order?

Ordered a Sony ZVE10 costing £482.00 on 14th June. Order was confrmed 5 days later on 19th and I was informed delivery would be 24th June. Royal mail Tracking number provided but tracking info stated seller had informed Royal mail item was being prepared. It is.now 29th June and despite several emails.and assurances from a person at Baryl Photo called Reeva that the camera would be now be delivered on 26th or 27th June no camera has arrived and Royal.Mail tracking still states the item is being prepared by the seller.
So this is extremey poor. Also
Seller has now stopped responding. My last 2 emails.asking for updates on delivery have had no reply a d that is 16 days on from date of making the order.
Ive now opened a Paypal dispute and will be contacting my credit card company to raise a non receipt of item paid for case.
A lot of hassle after paying £482.00 and no goods have received. I may have to call police with all of this information and request a crime reference number if the camera or a full refund is not supplied.
At this point Barylphoto UK appears to me to be lacking integrity, customer service/support and could well be a scam given they say tjat they dispatch orders within 5 days after order is made.
Not good treatment of a customer give the significant cost involved with the order.
Disgusted with this company at this point.

I thought I would try this company for the first time, the initial contact was pleasant and I ordered a lens, delivery time was stated as 5-7 days, after 7 days I emailed them as my delivery had not arrived, I was then told to be patient very abruptly, I then emailed again and was given another date, at this point they said I could cancel my order, I said no chance, I was then given a Royal Mail tracking number for a next day delivery, however it took them a further 5 days to send my order to the Royal Mail, it took over 2 weeks to get my lens.
I will say that the lens was as described and I had no issue with that.
Clearly they are buying grey imports to order, I have no issue with grey imports but I have an issues with the time frame and the constant lies and the attitude of the staff.
I am a professional motorsport photographer of many years and had this transaction gone well I would have used them again, however after this I will NEVER EVER use this company and I can only advise people to do the same

Recieved my order intact , very happy , delivery took a while but was worth the wait.

Initially the customer service was very pleasant, they advertised delivery time as 5-7 days, I waited 2 1/2 weeks, I was told my item would be delivered on a specific date, when that never happened I emailed them and was told in no uncertain terms to be patient, they then gave me a tracking number for a guaranteed next day by 1pm service, everyday I checked the status and every day it said it hadn’t been received by Royal Mail yet, I had to call the police to get a crime number in case I was being scammed and I called my credit card company and told them the situation, I emailed Barry Photo telling them this, they then tried to be almost apologetic, after 2 1/2 weeks I finally got my item, it was exactly as described and I can’t complain about that. The issue is the lying constantly especially about the time frame, they are clearly ordering grey imports to order which I don’t have an issue with but they need to be honest about their delivery times.
I am a professional motorsport photographer and I spent a considerable amount of money every year on camera equipment, I thought I would try this company but never ever again, they have lost a customer after 1 transaction, they are a bunch of cowboys and I do not recommend anyone using them

I ordered a Fujifilm lens from Baryl Photo on 4 June 2026. The product page advertised the item would arrive to me in the UK within 5-7 days. After a week, I received no details about the shipment, so I emailed their customer service (no way to call). They assured me the item would be shipped "soon," but another week passed, and I followed up again. They simply stated "please be patient to get confirmation on replacement, most likely today." I followed up a total of 7 times, making no progress on getting any updates on when I could expect to receive the item. They've claimed they will ship it in the upcoming days, but they've been saying this for the past week. After 20 days passed, I checked in again, and they kept reassuring me the lens would be shipped the next day. They said that over the course of 7 days. Steer clear of this place if you need any sort of reliable shipping or after-sales support. It's nonexistent. I'll never buy from them again.

The delivery was slow but the price I paid was fair compared to other retailers in the UK. The product arrived without any issues. I will definitley use again and highly recommend Baryl Photo

The lens i bought from yous was the cheapest price on the internet i had a bit problem ordering it so contacted yous and you bent over backwards to help me so helpful quick response and made it happen for me and from that day kept me informed on the process until i received it from Royal Mail signed for delivery and it came to me in less than a week at the price it was advertised at no hidden charges absolutely fantastic to deal with would highly recommend using your company……..anyone wanting to buy new gear at the best price dont hesitate or doubt them just shop in confidence you wont be disappointed 👍📷 Mick UK

I recently purchased a Sony FX3 and FX2 from Barylphoto UK. Both cameras arrived on time, exactly as promised, and everything was well packaged and in excellent condition.
The communication throughout the process was fantastic. I received regular updates and always felt informed about the status of my order. The gear looks great and performs exactly as expected.
So far, my experience has been very positive. I haven't had to deal with any warranty issues yet, so I can't comment on that side of the service, but based on my purchase experience, everything has been smooth and professional. Best Price, 3 years warranty.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for camera equipment and reliable customer service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
