eSIM did not work - got refund after review!
This is a complete scam. The eSIM never worked. Five different people in Bali who deal with eSIMs tried to install it — all failed. Support refused to issue a refund for a service that does not function. I walked out of the airport with zero internet. Do not believe the promise that it will work upon arrival. Save your money and stay far away from this company.
After I wrote this - I got a refund! And thanks for that! 🕊️🙏

For transparency, we’d like to clarify the situation:
• You arrived in Bali on 31 January, and on the same day our team contacted you via WhatsApp to check whether the eSIM internet was working. This is part of our standard follow-up for all customers upon arrival.
• We received your reply via WhatsApp on 7 February.
• The eSIM could not be transferred to another device, as Indonesia requires IMEI registration for each device. Once an eSIM is installed, it is tied to the registered IMEI and cannot be moved to a different phone or different IMEI.
• After confirming that the internet was not usable on your device, we processed a full refund.
• Refunds typically take 3–14 business days, depending on the payment gateway and the customer’s bank.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced upon arrival and understand how stressful it can be to be without internet at the airport.
We want to reassure future customers that unused services are fully refundable, and we always take responsibility when a service cannot be delivered as expected.

It was a smooth experience ordering eSIM online directly. The site was quite clear. The activation process was also very clear in email. Because I wanted to get to use the eSIM right away because I’m already in Bali, I messaged the WhatsApp number and got a response in 1 minute!! Highly recommend this business.

Physical sim card ordered online works perfectly
I ordered a physical sim card online a month before travelling to Bali. The business contacted me by WhatsApp the following day to confirm date of arrival and hotel I was staying at and organised the sim card to be waiting at the hotel for me on arrival.
Clear instructions were given in the WhatsApp message received on arrival on the form I had to fill in, send another message back to Bali Easy and they registered the sim card. Was confirmed and working shortly after, handy to have a loval number for the Grab app etc. Sim card works well, was good value and hassle free. I would buy through this company again should I come back to Bali.

Good service, it’s A bit of a proces to download so be sure to read it carefully. First 5 minutes the internet will be slow but then it’s really good! Prices are also better than Saily etc.

The transaction was smooth
I think prepurchasing the visa allowed me to avoid delays at the Bali airport.
I paid for the visa with Paypal in September 25. I then received a scam attempt on paypal on 4/12/25.
As the visa purchase was the only transaction I had done in the past 3 months I suspect someone has hacked into your database and attempted to loot me. Paypal notified me and ,i hope ,resolved the hacking attempt , so I havnt lost any money as yet.

I'm sorry, I got the details wrong. I was on-line scammed twice on 4/12/25. ( although have not lost any money as yet . )
You are right, the paypal scam was nothing to do with your system. I paid for the visa with a credit card, not paypal.
Someone tried to take $7200 from my paypal account. Paypal addressed the scam and reversed the transaction.
I had another scam which was quite separate, where someone masquerading as Adobe customer service tried to take $13000 from my bank account.
My commonwealth bank prevented the scam so I didnt lose funds .
This experience has left me rattled.

Regarding your concern about the PayPal scam attempt:
We have double-checked our system, and we do not have any visa purchase from you on 25 September. In fact, we only recently started selling visa services and had very few customers around that time.
The only transaction we have under a similar name is a Bali Levy order on November 3. Also, this order was not paid via PayPal, we use Xendit, a trusted and secure payment provider in Indonesia, for all transactions.
We do not store card or PayPal information, so if you received a scam attempt, it is very likely unrelated to our checkout system.
If you could send us a screenshot of the PayPal payment record you mentioned, we will be happy to review further and assist however possible.
Your safety and trust are very important to us.

Très efficace, très bon suivi client et réactif. Instructions claires pour le KYC. Il faut juste prendre une photo de son passeport, un selfie, et une copie d'écran de son téléphone en affichant les IMEI. Prix plus compétitifs que les opérateurs étrangers d'esim en roaming.

Easy setup and super helpful
Easy setup and process! Everything working fine but had an issue with the sim calling so I reached out on WhatsApp and they replied instantly and fixed the issue within 5 minutes! Would definitely use again, very helpful and friendly staff! Better than any of the bigger companies that charge an arm and a leg!

Very happy customer
I am travelling Bali for 5 days now and have visited very many areas including Nusa Penida and Mt Batur. There are no problems at all with the telkomsel esim. I highly recommend it, especially if you are touring all day and need internet to communicate with your tour guides from time to time. It's totally hassle free and will make travelling easier. The service received from BaliEasy is very quick and professional.

BaliEasy is not good for longer than a month
Don't use BaliEasy if you plan to stay longer than a month, or come and go regularly. Each month they will force you onto a new mobile number, and turns out you can only do this 3 times per passport.

Unfortunately, this issue is beyond our control and Telkomsel’s control. It is a government regulation designed to reduce the use of unregistered or illegal phones in Indonesia.
Each eSIM or SIM activation is linked to your passport and IMEI registration, which limits how many times one passport can be used for new numbers. This rule applies to all mobile operators in Indonesia, not just Telkomsel.
