I've been regular customer of Bakers & Baristas in Castle Quarter in Norwich for some time but, for the last 4 or 5 weeks, they've been using disposable cups and plates even for eat-in customers. This is apparantly due to their dishwasher having broken down and awaiting repair or replacement.

I would have thought that a dishwasher is a basic and essential piece of equipment for a coffee shop so why is it taking so long to repair/replace? The staff are clearly embarrassed and frustrated by the situation and I'm sure they're losing customers as a result.

I refuse to continue to pay their prices to sit instore and drink out of cardboard cups so they've now lost my custom to Costa.

My wife bought box of muffins from kings Lynn. Two different sorts in the box. I had one of the pink ones with biscuit on top. I spent two days off work with food poisoning. My colleague had half of his and shared the other half with his dog both were extremely ill! Not good enough the kings Lynn store Didnt get back to my call at all. Pathetic customer service. Avoid.

​⚠️ Unusable Wi-Fi and Terrible, Argumentative Service
​I popped into Baristas (Maidstone) specifically looking for a spot to sit and get some work done. Before I placed my order or spent any money, I asked the staff directly about their Wi-Fi, making it completely clear that the only reason I was staying was because I needed a reliable connection to work.
​As soon as I bought my items and sat down, I discovered the Wi-Fi was incredibly poor and practically unusable.
​What made this experience so much worse was how they handled it. When I approached the counter to politely give feedback—explaining that they need to be honest with customers about the state of their internet, especially when explicitly asked—the barista on shift became incredibly defensive. Instead of apologising immediately, he was extremely argumentative, kept talking over me, refused to listen, and kept lying about the situation.
​It is incredibly frustrating to ask a direct question, receive false reassurance just to get a sale, and then be met with attitude and dishonesty when you point out the issue. Between its not just the WiFi strength it is the shop building so that has makes the connection bad so even your own WiFi/ mobile data will be bad.
​A word of advice: If you need to do any online work, do not take their word for it. Try to connect and confirm the Wi-Fi strength on your own device before you pay. Between, the food and coffee was not so good either.

food is of poor quality. Had to return a salmon bagel which was not edible, the cheese and ham baguette was not enjoyable. Exchange the bagel for a muffin and had difficulty with getting the refund.
We were unable to get a receipt for the original purchase and still don't know if the refund was returned as we couldnot get a repeit that showed that. Very frustrating and not at all enjoyable.

Was served fantastically by izolda in the Drogheda laurences center branch on a number of occasions. She's always happy, smiling and laughing. Hands down the best barista the company has to offer and also offers the best customer service I've ever received from a coffee shop.

I have found the cafe in Ennis to consistently provide excellent and friendly service. Everything is always brilliant quality, I'm never waiting too long, and staff are happy to give recommendations if asked. A lovely welcoming atmosphere.

Nicest coffee in Dundrum with very friendly and pleasant staff

The Canterbury branch - CC is simply wonderful - a lady who works there....she is so warm and kind and polite and helpful...i hope Bakers and Baristas look after her...she is such an asset...she should be there all the time! The Coffee is excellent...

Please don't order the matcha If you love original matcha. Unfortunately bakers baristas are quirted into the milk, no mixing of the lovely Japanese green tea in sight. I ordered the cherry thinking it would be a cherry grounded green tea but was just syrup. Very disappointed, it tasted sweet and just...
When I questioned the making I was given the option to leave it but decided to try the £4.95 sweetener in a glass, took one sip and passed it to my friend.

the service Is always excellent staff are efficient and caring, I have notice over the last 2 weeks on Tuesday mostly but also today that only 2 staff members on duty, as the cafe was extremely busy both days we had to wait longer than usual to be served, both member of staff, Sandra and Amy apologised for the wait, clearly not their fault, they continued to help any customer who needed assistance. They worked extremely hard, I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff. The wait was far too long, staff member don’t appear to be appropriated by their employers.

Amazing service and workers. Loved the coffee, muffin and overall experience.

Great coffee shop in Metro-centre staff always happy to help, was served by Bethany and Penny today short wait good service.

It was ridiculous. Cheese & Ham, but with next to NO filling. Wish I could add photo I took.
My sister also got a flat bread sandwich, also with very little filling. Spent total of £51 total rip off.

Visited B&B in Kings Lynn , ordered 2 over priced latte coffees which tasted vile . Never again.
