Very bad company

Very bad company, our 6 boxes were stuck for a month in UK for a trip France to USA. We spent a day to get responses when we saw nothing was moving. A lot of emails and calls were made (one number to call, a lot of the time not working or asking you to call back later). We don’t recommend at all, i stead of helping in the move it added more stress…

Cannot recommend

I waited some time prior to writing this review to try to be as objective as possible, but I still can't give more than 1 star.

The initial estimated time for moving my boxes was 7-10 days. It took 4.5 months for my boxes to arrive, and this was not a long-distance haul either. We're talking about Netherlands to Switzerland. Similar to many others here, whenever I emailed or called to ask for updates (because the platform no longer updated information after it reached their storage in Rotterdam), the response was the same: "we're waiting on updates from Operations, we'll get back to you when we have an update". But, those updates never came. I would have to take the initiative to call or email again if I wanted a chance to get any news.

When my boxes finally arrived, it was pretty much as expected based on other people's reviews. The boxes were in extremely poor condition, and were deformed by very likely being contained a humid storage location. Fortunately I had no valuable content in them, but my shirts appeared to have some mould/fungus on them which didn't go away after washing. So for all the reasons above, the rating is 1 star. If you're on a tight schedule or need your boxes within a certain period of time, spare yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. The price is most likely lower than other companies, but the cost comes in other forms.

This is about my baggage hub

This is about my baggage hub, it has been a nightmare, my items were collected in Nov on 9th 2021, and its all baby items as I was pregnant and sending them to dubai ready for when baby arrives, i was assured it would take less than 12 weeks. Covid has been going on now for a few years so this should have been taken into account if its the excuse, however i feel its because its not a full container so its being neglected, the worst thing isnt this, the worst thing is when I ask about it,all i get is we are waiting to find out what is happening and we cant give you any updates or details for when it could be arriving, however my sister did the same type of thing with another company called Pickfords and her stuff had arrived early , why didn’t this company have problems like baggage hub? . Nobody replies to emails unless its to say we will look into it and then again nobody replies back, the communication is terrible and its now over 2 months late, by the time, or if it arrives i probably wont need it as ive had to purchase all the baby stuff again as they are not giving any time line.very disappointed i would not recommend this company at all, im still waiting for a response but again I will have to contact them as they never get back to me, fed up and its not something i need with a new baby. ,

I have been scammed by Baggage Hub

I have been scammed by Baggage Hub. Please stay away at all cost! Their website showed £50 for a deposit, but £100 was withdrawn from my account. I contacted them right away, they told me the deposit is £100, and this is an IT issue. I wanted my deposit back as this is an error on their side and given removals are sensitive, I wasn't happy working with the company. They refused this, so I had to file charge back to Mastercard; I've been struggling for months to get my money back. They are just awful, and have fake positive reviews on Trust Pilot. They are a scam!

COMPLETE SCAM

After getting the runaround from Baggage Hub for an entire year, they finally told me that the $1,000 of shoes they lost in my shipment, could not be reimbursed or replaced because the insurance I purchased would only apply if ALL 13 BOXES WENT MISSING! The insurance policy I purchased said nothing of the sort. Based on all the other reviews, I doubt they would have done anything even if they HAD lost all the boxes.

STAY AWAY FROM BAGGAGE HUB! The least professional company I have ever dealt with. I truly wish I had consulted Trustpilot before using them.

Still waiting

I’m still waiting for a shipment from the UK to US. Picked up July 2021. Promised Oct 2021 delivery. Sat in their warehouse for literally months. Still not arrived as of March 2022. Shipment has batteries which will now need replacing at £500+ cost, if it ever arrives.

Please Avoid BaggageHub

I've written a review before for Baggage Hub, and this is my updated version of that. I shipped out 8 items (7 boxes and a suitcase), and I only received the boxes so far. I was supposed to receive my packages in 3-10 business days, but that was delayed for months and months. Not only that, the communication with the Customer Service team is horrendous, and is unhelpful to say the least. The company is very unprofessional, and they have no incentive in ensuring that your packages are handled safely (since some of the boxes that were returned to me were in poor condition).

Finally, they were unable to retrieve my suitcase, which contained more than £1000 in items, and have offered me a £35 return. Ridiculous! This company is a joke, and I think should cease to operate immediately. This company also needs to be reported to the police, seeing that there are so many bad reviews about it, indicating a very plausible level of misconduct.

I don't recommend this company to anyone!

I am not sure how this company is still operating. The most incompetent and careless service I have ever seen - each interaction they come up with a new way to surprise me with just how bad they can be.

We have been misquoted, suffered delays and mistakes at every possible opportunity, been ghosted countless times by their customer service team. And I still have a box (9 months and counting) that belongs to someone else. We had to hunt down the owner of the box separately because Baggage Hub didn't care whatsoever and months later it's still sat in my house because getting them to clean up their mess is impossible.

Use literally any other company.

I used Baggage hub to held ship me…

I used Baggage hub to held ship me some boxes from Spain back to the UK and after lots of chasing , phone calls and taking out a pointless insurance to cover the packed boxes , I finally got my boxes back in the UK and to my disappointment,. most of the breakables were smashed ( crystals , TV , family heirlooms ). I have just lost my parents and had to clear their home and I was impressed to begin with , with this service until I had to pay out the money. We didn't use all the boxes and was told id get a refund and I'm still waiting 2 months later !!!!. We took out the pointless Insurance that doesn't cover " packing your own boxes " That's the whole point of Baggage Hub where by you pack the boxes supplied and they ship them right, well that's only if you don't mind all your stuff being smashed and yes i can confirm they were all packed correctly using bubble wrap and air packaging.

As you can tell I'm a very unhappy customer and I'm still waiting for a refund , plus the cost of my beloved parents belongings mean nothing to these guys as its just stuff to them , but to me and my family it was part of my parents history and now its gone.

Thanks for nothing Baggage hub for a terrible service. 0/10 for me im afraid :-(

They should be banned from the industry!!!

I have hired them as their sales team were very quick to respond my enquire however my nightmare started when I scheduled o collect my boxes.

I was moving country, from Ireland to Portugal. After a month I got my boxes, one of them was replaced by DHL as it was all ripped. Another 2 were partially destroyed. I have lost at least 300 euros of broken stuff and missing items.

I have been taxed in Portugal as Baggage Hub transported my shipment through UK which is out of EU zone. I have been dealing with them to get a refund over the import tax since November 2022.

I can't believe companies like this call themselves as the experts of shipment!!! As someone has already said, since Dec no replies to my enquires!!!

Dont hire them!!!! I am sure you can find better support from another company.

The absolute worse

The absolute worse, if I could get away with not rating them even one star I would. Zero communication, out of office replies continually, no clue where our shipping is, and no updates or responses from the company. Staff and company are a total joke. 4 different dates we have received informing us when our shipping will arrive in Canada and still not arrived. Avoid this company at all costs, I am dreading to think what state our personal belongings will be in, well if they even arrive at all. Stay away they are the PITS!!!!!!

@baggage hub! Please stop responding to your bad reviews with standardised messages when you don’t even have time to respond to actual emails.

Our stuff would like to thank Baggage Hub for a very eventful trip from the UK to Sweden. After traveling through half the countries in Europe, the shipment finally made it to Saudi Arabia, where it collected some dust and some mirrors were broken before it was sent back to the UK, and we had to order the shipment again. When it finally arrived weeks late, everything was broken, smashed and destroyed. This was 11 months ago.

Since then, we have sent about 50 reminders to baggage hub to get our money back without any help whatsoever. We have also called them about 50 times, and with the amount of "breaks" and "sick leaves" and "holidays" that they are on according to the customer service agent, it's no surprise that the shipments don't arrive on time or in good condition.

The one star of this review is awarded to the nice woman who answers the phones. If you read this, I apologise for my tone with you. I know that none of this is not your fault. It is your totally incompetent colleagues, and you should find a new and better job, worthy of your patience!

I had put down a £50 deposit for a move from London to NYC in February, and my move was impacted due to COVID. They reassured me that given the circumstances they would refund my deposit. After EIGHT reminder emails from February to May they have done absolutely nothing, each time promising me that the matter would be resolved. I have now waited 10 months for this company to return my deposit - what a huge waste of time.

I should have clearly read all the horrible reviews on this website before even engaging with them. Businesses like this should be shut down.

PLEASE AVOID USING THIS COMPANY

I have had fair bit of dealings with shipping companies due to my job that required frequent relocations. Never had I dealt with a company like BaggageHub/Shipping Force whose service is uniquely awful. I struggle to decide which awful aspect I should start on, so may just as well do it chronologically:
1. Booking and Collection
The booking part, quote and charging is easy enough (typical). However, when the boxes are due to be collected (it was schedule on a Monday), there was no communication from the company nor the shipping manager (whose job is to provide personal support to your shipment). No shipping labels were sent and I had to spend three afternoon calling them a fewer than a dozen times for them to finally get their act together and produce the necessary documentation. This is especailly galling when I filled in all the necessary forms (Inventory etc.) well in advance of their guidelines.

2. Shipping:
The company promised to ship European (it was a Germany to UK shipping quote for 5 boxes, in the end only 4 needed shipping, more on that later...) orders with 4-6 weeks. They have since removed this promise from their webiste. However, it took further two months. I was expecting the shipment by week 6. The late arrival directly caused me to fall foul of the tracked package phishing scams as I was expecting boxes. BaggageHub provided no updates on the shipment for two months whilst I knew that the shipment was within their warehouse (the Germany to UK leg was shipped by Fedex/TNT, who obviously does a far better job than BaggageHub in terms of collection, tracking and delivery!). BaggageHub's excuse was 'warehouse team problems'.

3. Overcharging
After two/three months of chasing, the shipment finally arrived. My original quote was for 5 boxes and I made it clear when I booked that I might only need 4 boxes shipped. In the end, only 4 boxes were shipped. The shipping manager promised refund of the overcharging quote. This process has dragged on for two months and remains currently unsolved!

4. Customer Service
As mentioned above, the customer service is obviously dire. Repeated promises of call back or emailing on progress were not fulfilled. Any progress was only facilitated by me actively calling them and catching the shipping manager when she was not on her break (they seem to be on break awfully often). I have never used a company who repeatedly lie so often to their customer's faces.

Conclusion:
Please, please, please, for the sake of your mental wellbeing and wallet, do not use BaggageHub. It begger belief how this company is still in business. If you are moving from the UK to elsewhere, there are plenty of other good shippers. I will not say which since this is not an advert. I was naive enough to assume that all shippers were fairly similar with each other due to competition when I made the mistake of booking with BaggageHub. While I do not know whether anybody had a positive experience with them, the positive reviews look highly suspect due to the lack of detail. If there are positive experiences, they are the exception, NOT the rule.

This company and shipping is a joke. They have lost half of my shipment after "accidentally" sending my items to Norway instead of Switzerland. They had no idea what had happened to my items and were as surprised as i was to find my items had been shipped to Norway from London. Only one of my boxes made it back to me. Nothing has been done about the other item. This company is a scam. DO NOT USE. I've been trying to solve this issue for a year now and nothing has been done for me. No customer service whatsoever. Useless company. It's appalling they are still operating and need to close down before losing more of people's property. I really regret not reading the reviews before sending my items. If you read this, save yourself the trouble and find another option.

Just awful! Still waiting for deposit refund! Major red flag on this company!

If I could rate this lower than one, and negative numbers, I would.

Payed the deposit for shipping from Cyprus to Sweden. The day before pick-up they tell me that they can’t provide me with the packaging boxes etc.

Said they would refund the deposit as I couldn’t delay the shipping timeframe.

After several calls and emails, they kept saying that they are processing the refund.

When I eventually got fed up and mentioned legal action, I never heard from them again.

I’m definitely going to proceed with the legal action.

Baggage Hub is a scam

Baggage Hub is a scam. They requested a deposit for shipping, which I paid, then refused to provide boxes as agreed, citing “operational difficulties”. I sourced a different company who could provide boxes, so cancelled my shipment with Baggage Hub. They have not refunded my deposit despite agreeing to do so, and despite me making multiple requests. AVOID this company.

What a lovely communication skills and services

Finally, I find it was a great choice to choose Baggage hub to bring my 2 baggages intactly from France to UK. I’d been very worrying given the current situation ( Covid &Brexit), yet I could have a clear guidelines from Analyn, very attentive, kind and cooperative member of baggage hub. Thanks to her I could have a clear answers or solutions at any stage of procedure when I had any enquiries.
I think this is a trustworthy company that understand well how to provide an excellent services to customers having different concerns in effective way.
I’m willing to contact again baggage hub for my future move. Good luck with your business and thank you again Analyn.

CAN'T BE WORST

CAN'T BE WORST, THE SHIPPING WAS VERY BAD THE CUSTOMER SERVICES AFTER IS VERY BAD ALSO
Quoted 3 to 10 days from South of France to the Miami Area via air freight it took 150 days via sea freight, they first use DHL to pick-up my 28 cartons in Saint Remy de Provence to London 8 days with DHL label and tracking, however first they send me their label for tracking and their tracking is when your boxes arrived at our warehouse and then your boxes were dispatched from our warehouse to nowhere ….. a total of 28 days siting in their warehouse just sitting
34 days later I have an answer of my many e-mail to find out that my boxes were put on a container ship that I follow vis satellite and it took 17 days to arrive in New-York, then stay 31 days at Customs to be released to Schumacher Cargo Logistics that give a new tracking number to my shipment but no place to track it anywhere I had to call every day to find out where was my shipment and the answer every each time your shipment is safe on our warehouse but we put it on hold because Baggage Hub owe us money then when they pay you have to wait for a truck consolidation for a truck that is going to the Miami area.
45 Days later a truck arrived with the right number of boxes but most of them are crush, have been wet at some time, retaped and when I mentioned it to the truck chauffeur his answer what do you expect is the same on all international shipment, (I guess he mean from that company).
Not only most of them were crush but they have a lot of content missing and Brocken, because it was supposed to be 3 to 10 days I'm diabetic and I put 3 months of medical supplies missing, and my wife cosmetic gone, and I know it was not at customs because when the open a box they tape back the box with a tape marked open by customs and if they remove some of the items they leave a document in the box with the list of the contents remove and the reason why.
Also, clothes were wet, almost all fragile items broken, even so they were in bubble wrapping and 3 layers carton boxes
