Avra Beach Resort Arvostelua 

Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und ein Kind ..hatten ein Familienzimmer für 7 Tage gebucht.Das Zimmer war ausreichend --top sauber und sehr modern.Der Blick vom Balkon aufs Meer war einach nur herrlich.Das Essen sehr abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft und das Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend.Die kleinen Leckerein die man zwischendurch sich holten konnte und auch die Getränke waren super ..und ich als Kaffeetante war besonders begeistert das es leckeren Kaffee gab .Ich habe nicht einen winzig kleinen Punkt den ich bemängeln könnte.Ich wünsche dem Hotel und dem Personal weiterhin alles Gute und vorallen nette Gäste die zu schätzen wissen was sie da haben und sich auch danach benehmen(Tun leider nicht alle)

vele geven hier supersterren maar toch beetje relativeren... vriendelijk personeel , sommige ja andere heel nors. kamers zoals beschreven al vaak sommige aan vervanging toe. eten na paar dagen ken je het en is vaak zelfde , 's middags eten van de vorige avond.de thema's van eten soms zus en zo.niet slecht maar niet super. zwembad in oktober erg koud , zee was warmer. Animatie moeten ze nog veel leren zeker tijdens dag. Ligt aan zeer drukke straat en niks te zien in buurt. Tot zover mijn eerlijke mening over dit hotel , goed maar zeker niet super.

This place is very beautiful. The food is amazing!

It was my first time booking an all inclusive holiday and stayig during half term but I was travelling with my neice and my 12 year great neice but we had such an amazing holiday. The Avra Beach Hotel is in such a perfect location. It is right on the beach and it's so easy to get into Rhodes Old Town either by public transport or by using the shuttle service. We also booked two tours to Symi and Lindos by boat which were an incredible experience for all us. I actually enjoyed all the hotel entertainment and music! I even joined in with the aqa aerobics and the Greek dancing! I also found a lovely quiet, sandy swimming spot between the rocks on the shore too. My neices just loved it all, specially the incredible variety of food available.
However, the main highlight of the hotel is its staff. The housekeeping team were brilliant at keeping the whole hotel looking pristine throughout the day and the grounds were maintained to a high standard. We booked a standard triple room which though the bathroom was a little tired around the edges it was spotlessly clean. The Reception Team were so helpful and accommodating, as were all the restaurant and bar staff. The entertainment team certainly seemed to motivate and get everyone involved too. It's certainly the staff that make the Avra Beach Hotel so special.

Upon arrival we weren't really given any instruction where anything was other than pointing a finger to the darkness outside. Got the the room and the door was stiff and difficult to open, it was also a struggle to lock. Got into the room and we were very disappointed by the look (old and outdated) of the room for a 4 star hotel (stayed in better 3 star). Usually wouldn't complain about the room decor, however, the handles on the cupboards/drawers were loose, one came off and later in the week the door handle came off. We appreciated that we had been given an upgrade as it was for a birthday but we didn't want to risk complaining to be moved into a smaller room with a worse view. Aside from the problems with the room we also weren't very happy with the service received. A handful of the staff always smiled and said hello and tried to make a bit of conversation, however, more often you would receive a blank stare and no smile what so ever which felt very unwelcoming. The hotel itself was lovely hence why I've gave it 3 stars and not any lower. Overall it was decent but still a bit of a disappointing holiday.

Just back from a fantastic holiday to Avra Beach. Our party consisted of 3 Adults, 2 Teenagers and a 9 year old, with the Teenagers rating it the best holiday yet and they are already well travelled!! The staff throughout worked very hard every day to make sure all requirements were fully met. We spent most of the time on the beach enjoying the fantastic views and yes the sun beds weren’t the best but if people treat them as their own it would help. Thanking everyone for the great memories.

Have just returned from avra beach hotel , I requested 2 rooms as travelling with family as anniversary holiday , were given rooms in old building these were very dated bathrooms were not nice pedestal didn’t even fit basin , bed so close to wardrobe had to keep moving bed down , very disappointed with rm complained in morning could move rooms but at a cost of €200 each rm.
Food ok but could of been hotter drinks ok , sunbeds awful if you managed to get one a lot broken made complaint was told maintenance would look into it , cigarette ends everywhere by sunbeds , 3of us in a rm had 3 hand towels 3 bath towels next day would only have 3 hand towels!!!! After a shower this was unacceptable had to chase maid down the corridor to exchange only to be met with a scowl, would I return to this hotel NO I WOULD NOT , have stayed in Rhodes last year different hotel that was wonderful should of booked there instead , I found the hotel staff ok but on asking for local bus timetable was told “I don’t know “not helpful .
This hotel can not cope with the amount of people staying there pool far too small , not enough sunbeds ,or seating for evening entertainment.
I did have treatment at the spa which was lovely and the staff were lovely , entertainment team very good , but you needed them to make this holiday worth while.

The staff at Avra Beach make the place what it is, the bar staff restaurant, reception and especially the entertainment team! Brilliant, well done to all. The hotel is in a great location, Rhodes town a short taxi away hotel shuttle service 6 euro return per person. Everywhere kept clean & tidy. Plenty sunbeds more on the beach than by the pool, we chose the beach. For the selfish stupid people who get up at the crack of dawn to reserve beds, towels will be removed. Food was excellent, lots of choice including the snack bar. Self serve water & soft drinks. Entertainment varied & the team are so friendly making everyone feel welcome. We had a great time and would definitely go back.
Such a shame to see the fires since we left so sad, our hearts go out to the people of the island. Avra Beach well away from the areas that were on fire. Would we recommend? Absolutely!!

What a great 4 star hotel for the price. Yes the room looked tired but we had so much space and its cleaned daily in fresh towels. Bed, pillows were v comfortable. The staff are all amazing and so friendly. Sun beds around the pool tended to be those with kids but so many beds available on the beach. Hotel is literally on the beach. Food, snacks was varied and v good. Stunning sunsets too. No mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants or flies which is added bonus. For the price its v v good. Glad we booked it and didnt overthink some of the petty reviews

Had a great holiday from start to finish. Hotel was lovely and the room was exactly how it looked on the website. Sam, Bogdan and the rest of the animation team were absolutely brilliant they kept everyone entertained throughout the day and there was great shows in the evening. They get everyone involved and it makes the holiday. The hotel staff were brilliant and all so friendly. Bar staff were a good laugh. Food was decent and there is a big selection to cater for all. Every evening there is a theme for the food which is good. Weather was absolutely brilliant for the whole week. We will be back. Thank you for a great holiday.

Not sure how this still has a 4 star rating. It's very tired and dated and in places the carpets are totally threadbare. The Reception area is nice and so is the pool area.
The main restaurant resembles a very noisy school canteen and there's not a hope in hell of a peaceful evening meal - the kids club starts up in the middle of the dinner time and it's almost impossible to have a conversation. Good choice of food though if you're a meat/fish eater, not so great if you're veggie. Plenty to eat but little choice in the way of protein choices unless you have cheese, cheese and more cheese. I found the food lukewarm at best.
Position pretty good being right on the beach which is pebbly and there is a good shuttle bus service into Rhodes Town for 6 euros return. Sadly I would not return or recommend unless you like a noisy evening environment.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, clean, well maintained and the staff were so polite and helpful. The kids entertainment team were brilliant, my granddaughter, niece and nephews loved the kids club which was on twice daily, the kids disco and face painting was on every night and the adult entertainment was also good. The food was excellent with great variety to suit everyone, loved the snack bar which was open all day until 12 midnight which a range of sandwiches and other treats available. We arrived at 1am and the staff made sure there was a buffet waiting with drinks which was a nice touch after all that travel. The fresh fruit juice in reception is the best I have tasted! My daughter took sick whilst we were there and ended up in hospital resulting in her partner having to stay longer, the hotel staff were amazing in extending rooms with great rates, they did their best to accommodate and have even extended their room for free on the check out day! Would fully recommend this hotel to anyone and Rhodes itself is lovely, the buses are frequent and very reasonable.

Really enjoyed our stay at Avra Beach Hotel - must mention the brilliant bar team - they were so welcoming and efficient even when rushed off their feet! Special mention for Anastasia who really took the time to chat to us and ask about our days out etc. She made our holiday and is such a lovely person!

Had a brilliant stay Avra beach resort. Cannot fault hotel. It was clean, in a good location, served a great breakfast, pool bar along with 4 top quality restaurants at the resort and the staff were extremely helpful, especially Sokratis the bar manager. He made sure everything was taken care of in detail. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay here again.👊

Second time we stayed at resort. Beautiful place, and hotel is very clean!! We paid for all inclusive, though asked to pay for certain cocktails, lagers, coke, and children's candy floss.
The childrens entertainment had improved from first visit, and our 5 year old granddaughter enjoyed day/evening entertainment.
Food was good 😊
Water sports at beach are great 😊
Not the place to go if your a dog lover 🥲 homeless dog was treated poorly by hotel staff, prior to being passed to dog warden, luckily he was rescued by a lovely family 🥰
Water park in Falaraki was great day out, and Chinese opposite hotel is amazing!!

The best hotel I have stayed in ixia this is now the second time I have been to this hotel the room was spotless and the front of house staff, bar staff and restaurant staff ,management were fabulous nothing was too much for them
And the entertainment team headed by a great guy called Baloo from Hungary was fabulous very friendly and again nothing was too much
You won’t get a better holiday experience going anywhere else

Elles font le maximum pour vous parlez en français.
L hôtel est très familial, et on s y sent à l aise.
Malgré les consignes "covid" nous avons passé une superbe semaine.
Un grand merci à Monsieur Kostas Spartalis qui avec toute son équipe fait tout pour que nous passions une semaine très agréable.

Absolutely lovely resort with a beautiful pool, great food and very friendly staff. Especially "the poolboy" Srdjan Mitrovic is a so kind and helpful man who does a very good job. We have visited Avra two times and we hope to return to it again.
