Its great , friendly and efficient when you can get through. Expect to wait an hour or more so dont call after 4pm as they will simply cut you off.
They make £800million year, cant man the phones adequately and dont ask them to invest in defence of the realm or the diesel generators that keep hospitals running. Not ethical apparently.
Wish id gone elsewhere.

The worst company I have ever dealt with , unprofessional, they read off a script , lack of communication, they arranged a translator for my mother , after a 45 minute phone call , completed all checks took bank details , no funds were received & I heard nothing back .2 weeks later , I received an email with spelling mistakes no name to say who wrote the email advising they need further information.
I made a phone call again , they advised they need to make a further call , I was not made aware in the first instance that the information provided was not sufficient, the lack of communication is terrible.
the advisor said that 2 phone calls were made to myself ,I had no message left advising that I had to ring them.
The way this investment company conducts themselves is appalling , they look for reasons and excuses not to release the funds. The lack of professionalism is apparent . I have arranged another call , if the queries are not resolved my mother will have to arrange a solicitor to deal with this company , undue stress, left me wondering whether this company is a legitimate organisation.

Worst service ever. I lost my dad a number of months ago now and he had an ISA with Aviva. Every other company i've dealt with have been professional and easy to deal with. Not Aviva. To start with they don't even have a dedicated line to call for bereavements. You have to call a general number each and every time and choose the option to report a death. This is the same even after you've reported it. They then send you a pack which is very difficult to understand what you have to do. I just wanted his ISA investment transferred into my mums name but they have been hopeless. Eventually got the correct forms to complete and received an email saying they needed a cerified copy of the letter of confirmation (probate). Sent that after having to get one certified by a lawyer to then receive a letter back saying they need the original! I honestly have lost patience with them and am so stressed out by their service that i can't even look at another document from them just now

Trying to get refunded after closing an account of over 20 years is so stressful. Instructions were ignored, addresses not updated, promises made and I am still waiting, one month since all sold and the other investment companies have long paid up. I despair after 2 calls a week for the past month. Still waiting. Also the investments did badly in comparison to other companies.

Utterly terrible .internet site very confusing between aviva policy site and aviva investment site and no internal connection between the the two .
Closing the investment over the phone took nearly an hour as the responder could not get bank authorisation even though a letter had arrive confirming the bank account was fine. The only progress was after the hour to suggest the account be closed and a cheque sent. Do not touch aviva.

I had an investment policy with this crowd for 20 years. It performed very poorly compared to the market average and I had to jump through endless hoops to get the money out of them at the end of the policy's term - it really was a horrible experience (very different to all of the other investment companies that I have dealt with). Well worth avoiding - an absolute shambles. Seemed as though it was designed to stop you getting your money back - it really was that bad.

If I could give minus I would. My Solicitors sent a letter in April 2024. They were asked to reply in 28 days and they have completely ignored it. The building they own has been defective for almost 10 years. I attempted to contact them on X / Twitter and they deleted the post without responding,

Failed to act upon and/or follow up upon a bereavement instruction in 2009, failed to execute a repetition of said instruction in 2019, effectively prevaricated for a further 4 years; still battling with them following a second bereavement where, despite clear, unequivocable instruction concerning method of payment, they have chosen to issue cheques payable to the estate of the first deceased.

In my experience Aviva Investors are simply the worst, most inept organisation that I have had the displeasure of having to deal with, repeatedly adding angst to the emotional injury of bereavement.

Die Performance ist miserabel, wir haben innerhalb 10 Jahren 20000 Euro verbrannt.
Ich kann nur dringend raten, von Aviva (vorher Friends provident, schon die mehrmalige namensumnennung hätte natürlich weniger blauäugige Menschen aufschrecken sollen) die Finger zu lassen.
Selbst unter der Matratze ist das Geld mehr wert

Ich bin 2006 angeworben worden, damals noch friends provident, heute Aviva . Es wurden Versprechungen gemacht , ich würde eine Rendite von bis zu 8% erhalten.
Ich habe seit 2006 78000.- Euro einbezahlt und habe 2022 60200.- Euro herausbekommen.
