Very good service willing to help in difficult situation involving rerouted flights

El coche estaba nuevo, ni un problema a la hora de recogerlo ni de entregarlo.
Sin duda volveré a alquilar en futuros viajes con la agencia.

I had no problems with the car, so impossible to give an representative opinion. It could only happened when a problem appear and how autovia handle it.

Happy with the car and service. One of the members of staff at the desk at Treviso airport spoke English, explained everything and sorted everything out quickly and in a friendly manner. Will be going to Autovia first next time 👍🏻

I had a problem with my credit card, and we proposed to the office employee to buy the service of a second driver for my wife, so she could use her credit card only for the deposit, because the total payment of the rental invoice was prepaid online. The employee didn't accept, making pressure on us that she wouldn't rent the car. And then she proposed us to buy the highest insurance possible, so it wouldn't be necessary to make a deposit. I emphasize that the insurance amount was 250 euro approximately, and we had rented the car for 170 euro. We accepted because we understood that that there wasn't other way. What we noticed next was that she had blocked even the amount of the deposit form my debit card, the one that was used to pay the insurance.

Nous avons loué une voiture à l'aéroport de Trévise pour 15 jours. Accueil très froid. On nous a fait souscrire une option supplémentaire à 95 euros pour une assistance Taxi en cas de panne. Nous sommes tombés en panne avec nos enfants. Le numéro donné était injoignable. Nous avons du faire 6 km à pieds car aucun taxi joignable. L'assistance nous a dit de contacter l'agence à Trévise qui était injoignable. Nous avons pris beaucoup de risques et sommes très en colère contre cette agence de location à fuir!!
Nous avons réussi à avoir une personne le lendemain qui nous as dit qu'ils prennent en charge un seul taxi à hauteur de 120 euros sur facture!.
Aucun état des lieux ni explications à la remise des clés ni à la restitution.

Alquilamos una suv,en Treviso y otra en Cagliari,para nuestra sorpresa ambas eran nuevas,impecables, 5000km. Con toda la tecnología. De Treviso entregamos en Roma.Contratamos el seguro más completo en ambos casos y ningún problema al momento de devolverlas. La reserva que toman fue devuelta rápida. Excelente atención. Volvería a elegirlos,sin dudas!

Very good car at a great price. The only areas for improvement are that the car could have been a little cleaner, and my €100 security deposit was not released until I contacted them by email to remind them. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would rent from them again.

The person who processed the check in was down to earth, not salesy, very professional and did not rush through the process, but at the same time was very on point. I did not felt pressured to buy extras or upgrade, and everything was explained clearly. One of the best car rental experiences I had in the last 7 years renting cars on holidays.

I had major problems paying the security deposit; the machine refused my card several times, even though I had plenty of credit available and the card was working because I used it to buy something at the store's front desk to check. Only after two hours did the woman fiddle with the machine, and then miraculously the card went through, but not before they tried to offer me additional insurance for the same amount as the daily rental so I wouldn't need the security deposit.

I was about to pickup a rental car that I’ve booked and paid for in August 2023 at the airport in Treviso, Italy at company Autovia.it. I came at 8:00 am, but unfortunately I did not have a credit card (only debit cards) to put up a deposit. I was quite surprised that only credit card was accepted for deposit since I've paid for booking with debit card and never really had any problems with providing deposit by debit card with other rental car companies before. They have it in a small print in their Terms and Conditions, but really not very well visible and often the term “Credit Card” is interchangeable with the debit card as well. The man behind the desk said that I cannot use my debit card for deposit and he cannot rent me the car. I had to go to Hertz and rent another car there (apparently they did not have any problem with taking a deposit from the debit card). He recommended me to write an email to customer service complaints and ask for refund (the booking cost 266,05 EUR in total). Unfortunately, three weeks later I’ve received a short response that I’m not eligible for any refund, which was quite a shock:
"By terms and conditions there is no refund for failed pick up if all the necessary prerequisites and documents are not available for the issue of the Rental Agreement.
Necessary documents are shown in the confirmation voucher received when the booking is confirmed as well as in the terms and conditions link."
I haven’t used the service at all and it was clear before I officially could start using it (the rental pickup was at 8:30am). I don’t understand how is it possible that I’m not eligible for a refund in this case when the rental company simply haven’t done anything other than taking my money for nothing. I completely understand that I may not be eligible for a full refund, but I equally do not understand how they would be eligible to pocket everything without actually providing the service.

I've tried to contact European Consumer Center in Italy and got a response, that this could be an unfair commercial practice:
"In the case of online contract, the seller should provide you with information about the service before you concluding your purchase. This means that the you should have received in advance the information about the need to provide a credit card to pick up the car. In addition, keeping the full amount you paid as penalty could be disproportionate, especially if the contractual terms do not foresee a compensation for the consumer if the contract is canceled by the trader. Applying disproportionate penalty, indeed, could represent an unfair commercial practice banned by law."

After this bad experience I would not recommend to use this company to anyone and use other companies like Hertz and Europcar that do not really have any problems with taking deposit from debit cards.

Assurdo arrivare con bambino piccoli con passeggino dovere prendere una fila per avere un adesivo per passeggino anche se c'è una fila dedicata ai passeggini di picchi metri dopo un incubo spingersi tra passeggeri in una fila infinita,bambino piange ma deve stare in una catena umana,nessuna differenza,un incubo sembra essere in india,sembra tutto bello una fila dedicata ai passeggini ma finisce dopo due metri,volo per Praga con Ryanair un incubo .

We were given a large and beautiful car even though we had requested a Panda-type vehicle, so we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded. The welcome and service were perfect.
