I’m very disappointed and have lost all confidence in them!
Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with Autovia. When I returned the car I’d hired from them, they claimed there was damage amounting to just over 500 euros, even though the car they’d handed over to me had over 118,000 km on the clock and was covered in scuffs, scratches and dents. The contract did indeed list a large number of pre-existing damages when I took possession of the car, but it was far too easy for them to make up new ones. I therefore no longer have any confidence in this car hire company and will not be using their services again.

Je suis malheureusement très déçu d'Autovia. Lors de le retour de la voiture louée chez eux, ils ont constaté des dégâts pour un peu plus de 500 euro alors que la voiture qu'ils m'avaient donné en location avait plus de 118.000 km et était pleine de coups, de griffes et de bosses. Le contrat mentionnait d'ailleurs un grand nombre de dégâts lors de la prise de la voiture mais il leur a été facile d'en inventer des nouveaux. Je n'ai donc plus aucune confiance dans ce loueur et ne passerai plus par leurs services.

Der Mitarbeiter am Flughafen war außergewöhnlich unfreundlich, er hat uns nichts erklärt und war ungeduldig.
Wir bekamen nicht die gebuchte Kategorie, sondern ein größereres Auto. Aufgrund der engen Straßen in den Städten der Toskana kein Gewinn.
Das Auto war dann okay,aber wir bekamen 2 Tage später eine Mail,dass wir unseren Autoschlüssel verloren hätten und ihn bei der Polizei abholen sollten.Das war völliger Unsinn!
Die Abgabe war ähnlich, der Mitarbeiter nahm nur den Schlüssel, viele Kunden warteten schon.
Das Auto war gut,aber die Firma spart scheinbar bei Mitarbeitern,daher der günstige Preis

Highly unprofessional! Hidden fees and stolen/lost items. Do not recommend! I highly discourage anyone from renting from Autovia Pisa Airport. They are extremely unprofessional.First of all, watch out for their rental guarantees and hidden costs. When you book online, you see one price. When you arrive at the desk, they force you to pay double that amount extra (insurance, dropping the blocked deposit and other hidden fees that should be included in the online cost). If you refuse, they won't refund your online payment, so you basically have no choice but to pay or lose your money.Secondly, I accidentally forgot a pair of Meta smart glasses inside the car. By the time I realized, I had already passed the airport check-in gates and couldn’t go back. I immediately called them. They dragged their feet, making excuses that they would check, but after countless phone calls and emails, their final answer was that 'there was nothing in the car'.They most likely found them and kept them for themselves. Instead of being honest, communicating properly and returning them, they chose to lie. Terrible customer service and zero integrity!

This is the 4th time I've used Autovia in the past 3years. I'm happy to report a consistently excellent service. Staff were courteous, professional and only too happy to help. Our latest car was an almost new VW T-cross. Fabulous. Exactly as booked. Well done Autovia see you again soon.

Erg agressieve verkoop van extra verzekering! We hadden alles al goed verzekerd online. Zeer bedreigend personeel! Had eigenlijk geen keus om nee te zeggen. Wordt tijd dat Europa hier iets aan gaat doen. Oplichterij!

Impossible to get hold of Pisa on the phone
We had an automatic new car which had gear changing issues and brakes were not as they should be
We tried numerous calls and an email but could not get anyone to speak to

Esperienza molto positiva grazie al personale in ufficio

Via Sunnycars geboekt bij Ecovia (Autovia). We werden heel vriendelijk geholpen aan de balie en de konden snel de auto meenemen. Wij hadden een hele fijne Audi Q2 automaat. Het inleveren ging ook heel snel, zonder gedoe (wij hadden dan ook de full risk verzekering afgesloten. Volgende keer kiezen wij weer Ecovia (Autovia).

Snelle en goede afhandeling

Autovermietung am Flughafen Pisa mit der längsten Schlange und der absolut langsamsten Bearbeitungszeit.

Plus: Das Auto war sehr gut. Sauber und quasi neu.
Die Rückgabe war sehr einfach und unkompliziert.

Minus: Eine extra Versicherung zum überhöhten Preis trotz Buchung und Bezahlung online im Voraus wurde vom kaum englisch sprechenden und unfreundlichen Mitarbeiter untergejubelt. Man sollte schnell unterschreiben (da wurde er plötzlich hektisch schnell), er blätterte so schnell weiter, dass man nicht lesen konnte und er sprach nur von Kaution. Nicht von extra Versicherung.
Mehr als den ursprünglichen Betrag extra noch obendrauf bezahlt.

This company is a rip off and will scam you over alleged damage. I hired a car between 28/05/26 - 02/06/26. They tried a hard sell for extended insurance, despite me already paying for it through the booking and made it clear I would have to pay for damage.
On return, despite requesting the vehicle to be inspected I was told there was nobody available so had to just hand the keys in. I completed a full video of the car, noting no damage.
I have since been charged €265 for what I would describe as a 25mm scuff on the roof at best, which would polish off. There isn't even evidence its the same car. Photograph, no video of continuity.
Its a clear scam that i have no way of disputing as they will just take the money off my card.
I took a full video of the car on collection, but the mark is that small and insignificant, it wouldn't show up regardless. They have clearly just looked for any scuff that would show up on a photograph and are satisfied with that. It would be interesting to see how many times they have charged a customer for this scuff. The photograph is embarrassing to call it damage!!
Ignore the fake 5* reviews, they are fake and generated by AI like the company replies to negative reviews.
Disgusting company and people, do not use as you will pay a financial penalty!!
UPDATE
Autovia attempted to have my review removed as they said it contained defamatory content. Trustpilot disagreed!!. There are far too many identical 1* reviews for it to be wrong. Do not use!!
