Ho noleggiato l'auto con AUTOVIA e ho trovato il personale cortese e professionale

Dopo la mia prima recensione, ho ricevuto un messaggio su WhatsApp dal servizio clienti e onestamente, non hanno nessun idea di cosa significhi rispetto. Non guardare le cose che dicono qui, vorrei poter condividere lo schermata della chat... bruttissimo

Il personale al desk è cortese e veloce nel disbrigo delle pratiche, fornisce informazioni dettagliate sul noleggio. Il ritiro dell'auto dal parcheggio è stato veloce e il personale presente è stato cortese e preciso nella consegna dell'auto. Consiglio vivamente Autovia per il noleggio a Milano Centrale FS.

Presa e restituzione molto rapide, auto in teoria migliore di quella richiesta (ma le MG consumano troppo!), pulita, nessun problema con controllo danni (assenti) anche senza copertura completa, prezzo onesto.

Avevamo preso un seggiolino per auto e ci hanno presentato dei seggiolini vecchi, sporchi, senza attacchi isofix e senza alcuna assistenza

Dear Sir or Madam,
On the occasion of my 50th birthday, I had a vacation with my wife in Italy where, among other things, I rented a car through you for 4 days between the dates 16-19/11/24.
I would like to point out that the order included insurance and was made through you, since with past rentals, I was very satisfied.
I find it appropriate to contact you, at the end of the vacation, in light of the problems with the service I received from the ECOVIA branch from which I collected the vehicle. A service that greatly overshadowed my vacation and my birthday celebration.
When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I was asked to identify myself and present a credit card that is the same as the credit card in the order. The problem began when it was necessary to charge a deposit of 700 euros for the vehicle and it was not possible to do so since it turned out that the chip on my credit card was invalid.
Of course I didn't know that in advance. I used the card in other businesses, without a problem, so I could not expect such a malfunction.
In light of this, I offered the representative two options. One, to charge my wife's card. A different card associated with the same bank account. The second option I offered, is to manually enter my card number and thus there will be no need to use a chip (with the provision of a secret code, of course).
The representative refused both offers. Regarding the first proposal, claim that the deposit card must be in the name of the customer renting the car. Regarding the second offer, he claimed that it is not possible to manually enter the credit card.
Since we were delayed for quite some time and wanted to get going, we asked the representative for a solution. After all, we will not cancel the reservation of the car and all the hotels and attractions for the next few days, because of illogical procedures (manual card deposit).
The representative offered a solution and said that if we purchase additional insurance (as mentioned, insurance that we do not need, because we purchased full insurance) at a cost of 160 euros, then the deposit can be entered manually.
I explained to the representative that I am not interested in expanding insurance and even asked to speak with a manager since it turned out that the problem is only procedural and not a technical problem of manual card entry, which cannot really be solved.
The representative explained that there was no manager to speak with and asked about the procedures. After a long discussion with no progress and delay for me in the rest of the vacation, I had to agree to extend the insurance and thus the representative would be able to charge the card with a deposit, manually.
It is important for me to note that I was a captive customer at the time.
I could not cancel the reservation for the car rental since it was cancelable until a few days before, and even if I had canceled it is not certain that I would have found another car for that time. Secondly, there was a feeling of taking advantage of the situation since there is no logic that you can make a manual deposit on the card only on the condition that you expand the insurance package which costs a lot.

In an unusual way and against the rule of law,
I am requesting a refund of the amount collected from me. Which might make up for the heartache caused to me.

Servizio al desk rapido e professionale, garage ritiro auto (stazione centrale Milano) un pò distante, specie con giornate invernali di pioggia, ad ogni modo staff cortese e disponibile. Auto pulita.

Il personale Autovia, sia al banco che al garage per il ritiro/consegna dell’auto, è molto cordiale ed efficiente. Per due volte ho ricevuto un upgrade del veicolo, quindi presumo ci sia una disponibilità delle auto non elevata. A parte una volta che ho dovuto aspettare il rientro di un veicolo, questo non implica affatto un disagio. E’ necessaria una piccola passeggiata per il ritiro del veicolo, forse non agevole se si avessero tante valigie. La restituzione della quota cauzionale avviene abbastanza presto.
