Very Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend
This has been one of the worst car rental experience I have encountered.
I returned the vehicle in excellent condition, yet I have since received a charge of €407 for alleged 4.5cm line scratch on the front bumper that was already present on the vehicle when I collected it. Fortunately, I took photographs at the time of collection, which clearly show the pre-existing damage. Despite providing this evidence, the company appeared more focused on processing payment from my card than fairly reviewing the facts presented.
The collection and return process is also inconvenient. Customers are required to take a shuttle from the airport departure area and travel a considerable distance outside the city to reach the rental office, which adds unnecessary complexity and inconvenience to the journey.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise travellers to exercise caution when renting from this company. There are far more reputable providers available, and I will certainly be using companies such as Avis Budget Group in the future rather than independent operators promoted through airline booking channels.
For anyone travelling to Italy and considering a rental through this provider, I would recommend researching alternative options before booking.
NB: You will not be able to contact the Customer care team to talk to someone human that will be willing to hear your perspective. All you can do is send an email.
I absolutely wouldn't recommend - will gladly use AVIS next time

Any damage is assessed by comparing the vehicle condition at pick-up with the condition recorded at return, based on the available documentation. If you have photographs showing that the scratch was already present when the vehicle was collected, the case must be carefully reviewed to verify whether the charge was correctly applied.
We are also sorry that the shuttle process and contact with Customer Care were perceived as inconvenient or not sufficiently direct. Your feedback will be taken into account to improve dispute handling, communication and customer support.

Wait in vain for the shuttle
We called 15 times and waited for 2 hours but their pick up shuttle bus never came. Why don't they just tell the truth on the phone (that they cannot, will not), instead of promising twice to come, and never do so? Spare their customer and themselves the nerves and frustration.

Similar experiences to orher reviews. Not only was the service in Milan rude, I actually think the company is a scam. They cancelled my pre booked and paid car because my flight was delayed. I’d even called to say the flight was delayed, I then accepted an exorbitant price hike because I now had no car and then they wouldn’t accept the same Wise Visa card I had paid with previously. Every person that day had to pay extra in their pre booking or one other couple ended up with no car. Had to go back to the airport and rented a car in minutes from Europcar ( with a smile). After reading the reviews how they have scammed lots of people, I think I dodged a disaster.

we are truly sorry for the experience you described and for the negative perception of the service received in Milan. In case of a delay, vehicle availability is guaranteed within the tolerance limits stated in the rental conditions; beyond those timeframes, the booking may no longer be maintained under the original conditions.
A physical credit card in the customer’s name is also required at pick-up, suitable to cover the deposit and excess amounts. Some cards, although usable for online payment, may not be accepted as a guarantee at the counter if they do not meet the required conditions.
We understand your frustration and regret that the communication and assistance were not perceived as adequate.

Bad service
I would leave 0 stars if possible. A queue of 8 people took 2.5 h. 2 guys at their desks, every now and then one of them just left customers sitting and went on delivering the keys.
Extremely slow, seems like there's no procedure. They need 30 min per car, I've never seen something like this. Awful

ci dispiace sinceramente per i tempi di attesa riscontrati sia in fase di ritiro che di riconsegna del veicolo. Comprendiamo quanto possa essere frustrante, soprattutto quando si hanno tempistiche da rispettare.
Le operazioni di check-out e check-in possono richiedere più tempo in presenza di elevati flussi di clienti o durante verifiche operative necessarie a garantire la corretta gestione del noleggio, ma ciò non deve compromettere la qualità del servizio percepito.

Inizio con il dire che metto uno perché non esiste zero. Avevo noleggiato un auto a Milano Malpensa tramite Ryanair ed essendo la prenotazione del mio volo a mio nome ed essendo un regalo anche la prenotazione della macchina era a nome mio. Arrivati al banco l’operatrice , davvero scortese , mi comunica che non era possibile inserire la carta di credito del mio ragazzo che era con me perché la prenotazione non era a nome mio, io non posseggo la carta di credito, ma con tantissime altre compagnie con cui ho noleggiato mi permettevano di pagare la cauzione con altra carta se il conducente era presente. Mi dice di contattare il broker per chiedere la modifica , il quale gentilmente me lo approva dicendo che avrebbe mandato via mail un voucher con il nome sostituito ( dicendo che tutte le compagnia lo accettano) ma l’impiegata non si accorda perché deve essere presente a sistema. Senza carta di credito mi chiede 120€ di assicurazione per un giorno. Morale della favola sono tornata in aeroporto e ho effettuato una nuova prenotazione con altra compagnia molto più conveniente. Mai più.

Ci dispiace per la sua esperienza. Desideriamo chiarire che la carta utilizzata per la cauzione deve essere intestata al titolare del contratto, come indicato nelle condizioni di noleggio accettate in fase di prenotazione. Per questo motivo non è possibile utilizzare una carta intestata a una persona diversa, anche se presente al banco.
Le eventuali modifiche effettuate tramite broker devono inoltre risultare correttamente aggiornate nel sistema prima della stipula del contratto. In assenza di questi requisiti, il personale può solo proporre le soluzioni previste dalle condizioni di noleggio.

I was scammed
I was scammed by Autovia at Malpensa airport. Three months after the rental I received unexpected charges. At the time of hiring insurance charges were excessive. The vehicle was dirty. I would not recommend them to anyone.
