Me cobraron un cargo por recoger el vehículo media hora tarde cuando llegamos unos 10 minutos solo y estuvimos esperando media hora a que atendieran a otro cliente. Trato deprimente, el vehículo todo el rato con olor a ferodo del embrague.
Nos retuvieron 1400€ por un vehículo que no debe de estar valorado en mas de 400€.
Nada recomendable si hay otras opciones.

Alquilamos en el aeropuerto de Mauricio con Autounión y tanto en la recogida como en la devolución fueron muuy lentos.
El chico que nos da el coche y lo revisa no es nada claro y no deja las indicaciones claras y al devolverlo nos estuvo "vacilando"(eramos un grupo de 5 chicas) y nos quería cobrar por daños que realmente ni estaban.
Devolvimos el coche con más combustible del que nos lo dieron y no te devuelven ni una rupia.
Para llegar al lugar donde devolverlo,no está nada bien indicado.

Para recoger el coche en el mismo aeropuerto de Mauricio, nos tardaron muchisimo y a la hora de devolverlo, no sé si ,porque estaban aburridos o porque eramos mujeres pero nos quisieron hacer pagar daños sufridos por otro clientes. El hombre que revisó el coche ni hacia por entendernos y solo nos decia que teniamos que pagar a pesar de tenerlo a todo riesgo por un rasguño que encontró en ese momento al parecer. Cuando le dijimos que ya estaba y que no lo habiamos hecho nosotras nos dijo que iba a llamar a la Policia y yo le animé a hacerlo porque claramente estaba jugando con los tiempos de los vuelos y ante los nervios puedes llegar a firmar cualquier cosa. Por el contrario, mantuvimos la calma y le dije que llamara a la policia porque nos estaban estafando....ante mi reacción de llamar a la policia de seguido dijo que todo bien. Una vergüenza.

Mala gestión en el aeropuerto de Mauricio. Muchas esperas para que nos entreguen el coche, aunque no habia nadie. El hombre que nos atendió quetia cobrar arañazos del coche que se quitaban mojando un poco.... Lo teníamos a todo riesgo. Y lo devolvimos perfectamente pero intentan meterte daños inexistentes.
Desesperante....
Sensación de que nos estaban vacilando...

Unos sin vergüenzas, tuve que dejar el coche un día antes y no puede hacer el chequeo final, me ha pasado 300 por daños en el coche y eso es falso.

Très mauvaise expérience traumatisante avec cette agence. Après 9 heures de vol, nous arrivons à l’aéroport de Miami pour récupérer notre voiture de location. La navette (15 mn d’attente) nous emmène à un hangar en préfabriqué, où les choses tournent mal dès la prise en charge.

On nous informe que le SunPass (système de péage) est obligatoire pour toute la durée de location (20$ de supplément par jour), bien que cela ne soit marqué nulle part dans le contrat, et notre intention soit de rester dans le quartier de Coconut Grove et non de faire de longs trajets en route à péage. Nous voyageons en famille, avec des enfants en bas âge, et cet ajout était inutile pour notre séjour.

Face à notre refus, l’agent, extrêmement agressif et non professionnel, nous a littéralement mis dehors, allant jusqu’à refuser de nous louer la voiture. Il nous a simplement dit de faire une réclamation pour obtenir un remboursement.

Nous nous sommes retrouvés avec des valises, des enfants fatigués, sans solution immédiate, contraints d’appeler un taxi pour rejoindre notre hébergement.

C’est une agence à fuir absolument : manque de professionnalisme, attitude scandaleuse et service déplorable.

I was a bit confused by the reviews here for "Auto Car" as some don't appear to be for AutoUnion. We have just used them in Corfu and they were very efficient and thorough. Gave very helpful tips and very friendly staff. Would definitely use them again.

They charged me 75 euro for the missing car lighter, which was already missing at car pick-up; and they knew it.
The girl from the rental company drove it to the pick-up point, she handed me the keys and took pictures of the car inside.
At car drop-off there was a guy instead, who he said he would check with the girl the day after, but, as soon as I left the car rental parking lot, I got a message form my bank, saying they charged me 75 euro.
The guy at drop-off didn't even care about checking with his colleague the day after; he lied to me, he probably had planned to steal my money in advance.
Useless communication via email the following days. Very unprofessional, deceitful and dishonest.

I rented a car through discovercars.com. The rental company was Autounion
When I went to pick up the car, the employee from Autounion refused to give it to me and asked for a new contract worth five times the amount I had booked through discovercars.com. My booking was for 160 euro, but the Autounion employee asked me for 900 euro, or he wouldn't hand over the car. After some attempts to negotiate, as it was clear he was trying to take advantage of me, I had to agree to pay 900 euro because I needed the car, and there were no nearby rental companies and I had my family and luggage with me.
I then contacted discovercars.com and explained the issue, but they couldn't resolve it with the rental company. The rental company claimed that I refused to pay with a credit card, which was why they raised the rental price to 900 euros. They also took a deposit of 540 euros from my credit card. Their response was baseless and illogical. It makes no sense for me to pay an additional 900 euros to avoid paying with a credit card.
Now I have lost the amount I paid through discovercars.com and the amount I paid to Autounion. The employee at Autounion was exploitative and tried to take as much money from me as possible, taking advantage of my situation as a traveler who had to agree to the increase. This incident occurred at the Auto Union branch in Milan near the airport, and the employee's name is Carlos.

Habe das Auto in einwandfreiem Zustand zurück gegeben. Die Check-out Fotos sind das Auto in einwandfreiem Zustand.
Die Fotos von den Schäden können gar nicht von meinem Auto stammen, da zum Beispiel die Auto Nr. mit Kabelbindern befestigt ist und beim Check out kine Kabelbindern dran sind. Rückspiegel das selbe, bei Check-out Fotos ist der Spiegel dran, beim Schaden Protokoll fehlt der Spiegel.

Het begon al met een andere auto dan dat we gehuurd hadden.Bij de reservering alles betaald bij aankomst nog 190 euro moeten betalen.De auto was half vol getankt ze wilden ons 30 euro laten betalen terwijl hij bijna vol was.Heel onbeschoft personeel!!!!
Nooit mee gemaakt wat een slechte service.
Nooit zullen wij nog een auto bij jullie bedrijf huren.

Abbiamo prenotato l’auto con ritiro all’aeroporto di Corfù per le ore 00.30, orario in cui atterrava il nostro aereo. Abbiamo atteso all’esterno dell’aeroporto per diverso tempo e nessuno si è presentato quindi abbiamo chiamato e dopo diverso tempo è arrivato un pick-up a prelevarci per portarci alla loro agenzia di autonoleggio.
La macchina che ci è stata data era un Citroen A1, vecchissima e malmessa con il sedile del guidatore letteralmente sfondo! Siamo partite, avevamo stipulato l’assicurazione con la polizza completa, ed arrivate al nostro albergo. Il giorno seguente però abbiamo avuto diverse difficoltà ad accendere la macchina, la chiave si inceppava o si bloccava con nostro timore che si rompesse all’interno, quindi il panico tutte le volte che dovevamo accendere l’auto, decidiamo di recarci all’agenzia dove avevamo ritirato l’auto, loro molto scocciati ci hanno risposto che non sapevamo mettere in moto la macchina ( 30 anni che abbiamo la patente) e che ci saremmo dovuti arrangiare perché quella era l’unica auto che loro avevano in quel momento. Abbiamo quindi proseguito il nostro viaggio. La macchina era pessima, con grandissima difficoltà a muoversi in salita. Nelle strade più irte riuscivamo ad arrivarci solo in prima e con l’aria condizionata spenta, una tragedia.
Quando abbiamo riconsegnato l’auto, loro hanno espresso un disappunto perché l’auto non l’avevamo pulita. Ma quando mai devo portare l’auto al lavaggio prima di riconsegnarla????
Alla mia domanda durante la restituzione: dobbiamo firmare qualcosa? Mi è stato risposto, di no e che era meglio così perché se no significava che saremmo state nei grossi guai!
Ma che modi sono?
Maleducati, inefficienti, spocchiosi e minacciosi! Mai più al mondo sceglierò questa agenzia!

Booked a car from them in Malta for 100€/week. For additional costs and "gold package" I paid 400€.
The lady at the counter desk was such arrogant and speaked so quickly, that i didn't understand what she was telling.
I was so stupid to pay.
When I recognise it afterwards, I wrote them 2 emails, but no any answer.
I learned the lesson, NEVER EVER this company!

I recently booked a car rental through eDreams.com for a 22-day trip in Ankara, Turkey, and chose AutoUnion based on a seemingly attractive offer on Skyscanner.net. What followed was an absolute nightmare that cost me an additional €220 and a lot of stress.

When my family and I arrived at the AutoUnion Ankara office, we were met by a representative named Mr. Mehmet. He immediately insisted that we had "zero insurance" and demanded that I pay an additional €220 for coverage. I showed him my contract from eDreams, which clearly stated that I already had basic insurance coverage. Mr. Mehmet outright refused to even look at my contract because it was in English. This was an absurd and blatant disregard for the terms I had already agreed to!

Frustrated, I reached out to eDreams.com customer support and spoke with Mr. Ahmed. While he confirmed that I did indeed have basic insurance, he refused to contact the AutoUnion office to support me. The entire conversation with customer support was a slow, painful experience, with every response taking around 5 minutes. I spent a total of 1.5 hours trying to resolve this with both AutoUnion and eDreams, all while my family, including my two children, ended up falling asleep on the office chairs due to the prolonged ordeal.

Mr. Mehmet even suggested I rent a car from another company. This was beyond unreasonable as it was already 12:30 AM, and I had arrived at their office at 11:00 PM! Left with no viable options and my family’s well-being at stake, I was forced to pay the additional €220 just to get the car.

Later, when I contacted eDreams to demand a refund, explaining how I was scammed by Mr. Mehmet, I was told that I had purchased an "additional platinum insurance package," which is entirely false! I was coerced into paying for something I did not need or want.

To anyone considering renting from AutoUnion at their Ankara location or using eDreams.com, DON’T! Mr. Mehmet at AutoUnion is a scammer who will try to extort money from you under false pretenses. As for eDreams.com, their customer service is utterly useless in moments of crisis and will not lift a finger to help you when things go wrong.

Do yourself a favor – save your money, time, and sanity by avoiding these scammers at all costs!

I am 60 years old, I don't like cheating. I rented a car at Sarajevo airport branch, when I dropped the car they checked it and noticed no damages, but unfortunately, because I am honest, I told them I made a minor scratch on the car accidentally by hitting a curbstone. They told me they will charge me 560 Euros for that minor scratch. I regret being honest with them, they are cheaters

Wie hatten das Auto 13 Tage da ich nur einmal durch Avrasya Tunnel gefahren bin, und bei der Übergabe ca. 30 km Autobahn haben die von meine Kreditkarte 43€ abgebucht. Tatsächlich kosten war ca.250TL umgerechnetes ca. 5€ . Nach mehrmaligen Schreiben keine Antwort. Nie wieder Auto Union
