Weiter so.

Was seen straight away. No problems or complications in hiring a car. And returning was as easy as hiring. As for the price, was very reasonable comparing with other car rentals.

Excellent rental company
We have used Auto Rent three times now and are more than happy with the service and the cars provided. For winter rental, this is the cheapest company we found and the service was excellent. We have never had to wait long for transfer at either the airport or the office location and the staff are very quick and efficient at the pick-up / drop-off procedure. Highly recommended!

Betrayed
We gave back the car and the unfriendly guy knew already where to search for a damage, that we did not cause below the car apron in front. It is the first time we made a negative experience with a rental car- but that was one.
To be able give back the car early morning was an extra of 40 €, the transport was not to the entrance gate but to some pick up point so was had to walk.

Avoid like the plague
Avoid like the plague! Worst car hire experience. All their cars are ex fleet and have faults. Was given a dangerous vehicle with engine management light on, made a squeaky noise. They said there was nothing wrong with it and tried to send me on my way. When I refused they suddenly found damage to the body work and charged me €350. Were incredibly rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. They say to take photos but was pitch black at the rental hut, only one outside light which has the transport bus parked there. The cars are also handed over dirty so hard to see what’s dirt or scratches. Not even located directly outside or at the airport which was misleading. You have to get a shuttle bus to the rental hut about 5 mins from airport. So slow too, took over an hour to pick the car up . When I inspected the car the following morning and called them they tone me to bring the car back. We drive an hour back to airport for them to say it’s fine go away. When I refused that’s when they found the damage we supposedly did. Went from nothing wrong with it to it being damaged. Disgusting company, disgusting service and reject vehicles. Beware!

Great Car Rental Company
We rented a car from Auto Rent recently for 2 weeks while visiting the Algarve. Everything about this company was excellent, pick up from the airport was easy and quick. The hire was really good value for money (£520 for 2 weeks in the height of the season) and fully insured with no stupid deposits or checks. Drop off was just as easy, took 5 mins for them to just check the condition and mileage, then a shuttle run to the airport with no waiting around. If you are looking to hire a car in the Algarve choose these guys, the whole experience was great!
