Setting up the account was easy
Setting up the account was easy. This is the second car protected by Auto Protect. We had to use the allow repair service two or three years ago. Very straightforward.

Fantastic service from Shaun
I've used shine auto protect a few times and the service has always been great but this time Shaun was even better than all the rest, did a really good job in sorting the scratches, very professional and efficient.

Not what I expected based on my previous experience
I have Smart Protect insurance on my old car when someone from Auto Protect called me and offered and I was happy until now when I contacted Auto Protect multiple times to take out the same insurance on my new car, however, no one can be bothered replying or picking up the phone. Seems like customer service deteriorated.

Body repair
I'm normally sceptical of bodywork insurance and only got this as it was part of a package from my dealer, but I have to say Shine were exceptional in removing a nasty scratch 3 weeks after getting the car. Booking an appointment couldn't have been easier, they arranged the visit around my schedule, did a great job and were pleasent while doing it. 1st class service!

Virtually useless cover
Virtually nothing from £900 of simple repairs is covered despite having wear & tear cover.
I waited for nearly two hours on your phone switchboard but no one answered so ended up unsure what to inform the garage
