It appears they have some good reviews but my experience with them has been the opposite , I am fairly certain these good reviews are by fictitious people. I suggest before dealing with any sales person ask for their true identity. Then ask for the company’s registration number in Japan. Then ask if they belong to JUMVEA. They all have an accent from Indo Asia but at times try to disguise it Their names are such as Steve Miles, Stanley Dean, Mike Slater,Jacques Foster, Zac Marcus. I note that none have Japanese name, makes me wonder if they are also operating from outside Japan. It is a shame because my experience with Japanese people are that they are honest ,have integrity and pride with their work.
Should you suspect or feel you have been scammed , please contact your bank immediately and let them know you have been scammed. I was lucky to get my money back because the bank in Japan were on their tail. Also write to the Japanese embassy in your country to assist.

‌Bought a 2 tone Dyna 14B engine through Eric Shawn in January 2020, but later the management told me that Shawn is dead. Sheikh took over and kept me updated. Since january, seven months elapsed without shipping the car. Later this month I was just told that they have shipped the car. We managed to.link with shipping line but just to find out that the car that has been shipped is a 1.5tone patrol engine, ( very cheaper car than the one we paid for) right now the car arrived Dar on 8Aug, but AHJ hasnt given me the original documents to clear my car in Dar, in which case am risking storage charges.. And above all they havent even created an account for all the business transactions which happened for me to have easy clearance with my country,,things are completely a mess. They stopped answering my messages,, please AHJ sort me out!!!

Toyota Dyna 2ton 14B engine purchased mid January, 2020. Auction House Japan in August 2020 shipped a Toyota Dyna 1.5ton 1RZ engine . The car is at my port . Car Chassis number on invoice and Chassis number on copy of BL mismatches. Cant clear the unit. Need Auction House Japan to amend the Invoice to reflect the chassis number on the BL. Please Agent Sheikh, Derick and Steven help on this. Right now cant clear that car and it will accumulate storage costs.i Have already lost alot in this transaction and i dont want to incur more costs. Kindy make my Auction House Japan account work and upload the correct documents (invoice, Receipt,Export certificate) bearing the car you have shipped. i dont want any trouble in clearing at the port and with my revenue authorities

AHJ is a dishonest and unreliable company. I ordered my vehicle from them on March this year and still no vehicle arrive. They kept on changing my account manager and gave me false export certificate. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks.please people don't ever think of ordering any vehicle from them. They have too many ghost names like, Stam ,John Allen, Peter Jordan and many more. They are crookers from Pakistan.

Liars and Scammers are perfect word for Auction House Japan & for its salesmen. In addition on same terms Trustpilot should rate Auction House Japan in order to prevent potential clients from getting scam.
Since, 3 weeks the Regional Manager Africa have contact me, and mentioned that my refund will be process but its fake like the company. Since then no response nor update. This Company is a disgusting!!!!!!!
The salesman known as Shawn Wilson but real name Syed OWAIS Gilany is still cheating people. Am in contact with a local press in Minato if same is successful, i will share all my documents and evidences with them so that they can inform local people about this SHAMEFUL Company.

It was my first experience to have a deal with auction house japan. Thankfully I got my Honda civic in pretty good condition thankyou everyone especially my agent who helped me alot.

I always do due diligence on foreign companies that I deal with. I did not with this one. I regret it.

I got in touch with their agent, Malik Asif, in May 2020 and gave him my requirements: a 2012 Toyota Voxy that has done less than 150,000 km. He found the car for me and generated an invoice. I paid. Then the stories began. Export certificate not issued because of "chassis was tampered with". Was advised to get a replacement unit.

At that time, red flags in my mind had been raised. Refused that offer and asked for a refund. In between, to get to this "refund" issue, Malik Asif had been "apparently fired", and had gone though their Business Development Manager, Steve David, and now I am with their boss at Head Office, Derick Fernando.

But I digress. Let me get back to the story at hand.

Derick advised me that a refund will take 90 days. I consulted my bank and they indicated that they can initiate a reversal and everything can be done within 2 weeks, provided AHJ approves when their bankers contact them for approval. I gave my bankers the go-ahead and AHJ declined to approve.

I queried Derick on this and he comes up with an offer of a Serena that has done 229,000 km and that I need to top up US$500. I told him I don't have the money for top up and that at 229,000 km, the car is a scrap and he tells me "now either you get this unit or your funds will be stuck here. Choice is yours, Sir. I am letting you know....straight away"

So, AHJ is basically selling me a car I don't want or else they will not refund me my money.

I wish there was a way of all customers that had been duped by AHJ could come together and start a class action against AHJ and run these thieves out of town. They should stop stealing from poor Africans.

I spoke to auction house Japan, on the 9th of July and I was promised a refund of $4333.25. Now they are all quite its like I am complaining too much BT I am talking about MY money which I have been scammed by ahj.

They are now proposing to sending me cars. After 1year of suffering, I NEED NO CARS FROM AHJ. BECAUSE THEY WILL SEND FAULTY CARS, AND ALSO NOT SEND PAPERS. I will continuously post on all platforms IN Africa and abroad so that you guys don't cheat innocent people like me.

I have sent deposit to Mr Robert from Auction House Japan, They showed me dummy car when I sent them $1000 deposit then there lame excuses were started
now I want my money back its been 3 months they are not giving back my money

Stay away from Auction House Japan. They are not trust worthy. They will not refund your security deposit.

My First experience with Auction House Japan was really fantastic. I coordinated with Peter, he provided me with a better car, with mileage of 46,000 km. Although his commitment was of a high mileage car. I am very happy  with their services. Although I read here many bad reviews and good reviews as well before placing the order. But I took the chance, and it was fruitful. I think there are less than 4-5% customers, which are dissatisfied and they post their reviews over here, but my experience was good, and I will recommend it to my other friends as well. Thank you.

They are thieves. Don't buy from them

A salesman/Agent by the name SAMEER lured me in to paying $1000 for a car deposit, later I realized the man was pushing me too much in paying the balance ,later I got a tip from my colleague that he was a scammer ,so I was forced to ask for my refund which he's refused to return ! Long story short AHJ IS A SCAM,if they are genuine why don't I get a refund
Dont trust them 1 bit the moment the money is in the accounts forget they dont deliver they'r simply SCAMMERS

My name is Chad Vidal on January 31st 2020 I ordered a Honda stepwagon from auction house Japan via agent peter Wilson.After paying 100% for the vehicle mr. Wilson then told me the said vehicle had failed inspection so I have no other choice to choose another vehicle I did and for months they did not send me no original documents. Mr. Wilson then referred me to senior manager Mister Robert. I spoke to mr. Robert who told me that all my documents would arrive before my vehicle which the port of destination. My vehicle has arrived at port of destination but Mr Robert has failed to send me my original documents tool clear the vehicle from the port so I am stuck without any original documents. I have been begging mister Roberts to please surrender my original documents to my shipping agency 4 weeks now and he has failed to do so Mr Roberts is not even replying to my messages or calls.I am urgently asking another representative of Auction House Japan to please surrender my documents,email or mail my original documents to me please so I can get my vehicle out of the port.

It has been Hell on Earth dealing with Auction House Japan.You will cry Blood with frustrations,sleepless nights,stress to get you Ulcers.Paid for Toyota Auris on 25th March,2020 through SHAWN ERIC and told he had already done inspection by 4th April,2020 and gave shipping details which I forwarded to My Client for an update.Asked for the documents all along since the ship was to dock Msa by 6th May,2020.On 29th April,2020 Eric sent me a copy of Inspection Certificate and export Certificate.
Horror started there,to our shock the documents were FAKE/FORGED BY THIS SHAMELESS SHAWN ERIC.We verified with KEBS and found he had Forged an Inspection Certificate for a Nissan Note for a business Friend I know called Kelvin who is also in Tears.
The Fake Inspection Certificate for Toyota Auris shared the same number QISJ/NAG-RW1-167888 with the Real Certificate for Nissan Note.AHJ thinks we are fools here and Eric is so Silly coz till today he denies documents are fake.Now my Client reported to the Police and Eric with his so called Manager Steve do not care.They don't even respond or communicate.Today I want my full REFUND OF THE WHOLE 100% CIF COST I PAID TO AHJ.This is URGENT SINCE IT HAS BEEN A POLICE CASE REALLY BOTHERING MY WORK HERE.
Till today no Documents,no Vehicle ship docked and there was no Car.AHJ are LAIRS of the highest Grade.Try them if you want destroy Customers, Family and get to know a number of Police stations around.
Have already liased and reported to:
1.Japanese Embassy
2.Kenyan to Japan Embassy
3.JUMVEA
4.Reported to Authorities in Kenya because of Fake/Forged documents.
5.Proceeding to the Interpol Police.
