Astute Graphics Arvostelua 

My experience with Astute Graphics has always been wonderful.

A great addition to the functionality of Adobe Illustrator, without which some tools would not make sense. The Width stamp plugin is amazing for special graphics like currency notes.

Larger point handles, dynamic shapes with live segmentation in circles, keeping things 'live' for longer. These things alone are the first week's discoveries. Highly recommended.

AG for me is the best tool for Illustrator

Just started to use Astute. Love it so far. There are still a lot of feature for me to explore. The only thing that sometimes bothers me is that a lot of features are updated and sometimes do not exactly match with some older tutorials. But aside from that, I love Astute!

Astute Graphics has many plug-ins to get your head around but once you access their tutorials. WOW! amazing things happen with your graphics.

Lovely plugins, but please, PLEASE, either create a cheat sheet where each plugin is located or situate it in one cluster. Those are scattered around tools-subtools-effects-panels and 0 guidance on where is what. Really time-consuming.
Sorry, I do not see other options of where to leave requests.

The Astute Graphics suite covers SO many of my needs that the standard illustrator tools couldn’t. There are still some features I feel it’s missing, and some quirks that I feel I’m working against more than I’d like. Installing the tools has caused my software to crash often, although the recovery versions have only been painfully behind a couple times. Though insanely frustrating, I still find the software to be worth putting up with semi frequent crashes. This may not be everybody’s experience, however, as I work on an M1 Mac. If the crashes slowed or stopped, this would easily be a 5-star product!

I can’t install and nobody replies to me after I sent three emails and four days I’m still waiting. So I can’t use it… I tried the reset astute manager using terminal app and it doesn’t work for me. Still waiting… meanwhile I’m paying for a plug-in I can’t use. So one star for customer service!

The plugins are good, and they do what they say, but the price tag AND subscription nature are both notable negatives. I could only recommend these tools to the absolute power user of Illustrator.

edit: Astute replied to my review - I don't know about you guys, but when someone tries to sweep away criticism by quoting themselves, it doesn't look too good. I have been using these plugins for years on an almost daily basis - I use these tools professionally in my business.

Amazing tools to make your day to day life as a designer easier.

The absolute best plugin for designers of any kind using Adobe Illustrator. For years I have been awed by what some designers are able to do with Illustrator and could not imagine myself getting to that level. Now with the Astute Range of plugins I find myself doing similar or better designs on a daily basis. Thank you Astute Graphics for changing the game in design.

Astute Graphics has evolved to the point where it's no longer possible to imagine working in Adobe Illustrator without their plugins.

If you appreciate quality and speed work, this is definitely your choice.

The suite of apps and extras that Astute Graphics offer in the yearly subscription truly are game changers, not only do they allow Photoshop Style functions but also superior interactivity for pen/tablet usage with the desktop app,

On top of all that you then get these tools that are pretty much how I think the Illustrator tools should be but sadly aren't, they speed up workflow immensely and can take things like autosave and make them work better & for you as are customisable to suit,

There's so much more like superior selected paths checks that will offer to reduce file size without distorting the image & clean it up if unnecessary nodes, open paths, even a tool to do individual paths, you can watch the nodes go yet the shape remains intact unless you push that limit further and even then the tool does an amazing job,

Easy to download and install, plenty of how to videos & training resources accessible freely online, they have an outstanding customer service, I say this as I had an issue (that I caused I need to state) as a student I am eligible for an amazing discount on the years subscription just like Adobe, I make mistakes and ended up paying the full amount for the year with no discount,

I sent a message and shortly received a refund, email verifying it and offer of further assistance if required, this was very quick on the same day this meant I could then pay the student discounted rate immediately, no messing about or waiting around, efficient, professional & helpful,

All in all my experience so far with Astute Graphics have been exemplary & more than satisfactory

great tool for all my graphic design needs.

I can't remember the last time I was actually excited about a plugin.

Once you get familiarized with the toolset you will realize how much time you save avoiding tedious repetitive tasks.
