I purchased a lotus seed mala bracelet from Art of Tibet. It arrived around December 21 and broke after only about 2–3 weeks of very light wear while I was sitting at a desk. The black thread snapped cleanly; the beads themselves were not damaged.
I contacted the company on January 18 and followed up multiple times over the next two weeks, offering details and photos, but I never received a response.
The bracelet was not inexpensive, and while it looked nice, I expected better durability and at least basic customer service when an issue occurred. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision, especially if post-purchase support is important to them.

Azienda molto seria che mantiene quello che promette. Ho comprato una thangka contornata da tessuto damascato. Fattura artigianale ottima che mi ha stupito per qualità e colori. Il materiale mi è arrivato, ben imballato, addirittura due giorni prima della data prevista, nonostante fosse stato inviato dal Nepal.

Les coussins " Méditation Bohème " pour le Yoga ne ressemblent pas à limage du site. Il s'agit de vulgaires coussins de décoration totalement inutile en séance de yoga car trop mou avec 5 cm d'épaisseur.

En primer lugar, su política de devolución publicada no aborda explícitamente las situaciones en las que el producto no se entrega al cliente. Todos los escenarios de devolución descritos en la política se basan en la suposición de que el artículo ha sido recibido. En mi caso, el producto nunca me fue entregado.
En segundo lugar, tratar esta situación como un "cambio de opinión" no es aplicable según la política en sí, ya que esta categoría presupone que el cliente ha recibido el artículo y luego ha decidido voluntariamente devolverlo.Ese no fue el caso aquí.

Como resultado, me pusieron en una situación en la que no tenía ni el producto ni un reembolso, sin un mecanismo claro o razonable ofrecido para resolver un escenario de no entrega.Esto me dejó, como consumidor, en una clara situación de indefensión.

Como consumidor dentro de la Unión Europea que compra a un vendedor establecido en Suecia, esperaba razonablemente que esta situación se manejara de acuerdo con los principios de protección del consumidor de la UE y Suecia, con el apoyo de organismos de protección al consumidor establecidos y mecanismos oficiales de resolución de disputas tanto a nivel nacional como europeo, como BEUC, la Red Europea de Centros de Consumo (ECC-Net), los mecanismos de la Comisión Europea, ANEC, así como en Suecia Sveriges Verbraucherverket y ECC Suecia.
Esta es la experiencia reflejada en mi reseña.

This has been one of the worst online purchase experiences I have had.
I ordered a Thangka painting from Art of Tibet and was repeatedly told that my order had already been shipped. However, the information provided to me was contradictory, confusing, and misleading. The tracking link shared showed the shipment originating from Varanasi, India, while I was told multiple times that the parcel was being shipped via Nepal. When I asked for clarification or supporting documents, I received no clear answers.
Communication was extremely frustrating. Instead of transparent updates, I was repeatedly asked to “be patient,” despite clearly explaining multiple times that I had a strict travel deadline and would not be available after a certain date. This urgency was completely ignored.
Even basic shipment details could not be shared properly, and the order status on their own website continued to show “getting ready to be shipped” while I was being told it was already shipped. This inconsistency shows a serious lack of process, transparency, and customer care.
What makes this worse is that the burden of follow-up was entirely on me. I had to chase the seller, the courier, and escalate repeatedly just to get basic clarity. This is not acceptable customer service, especially for international orders where accurate shipping information is critical.
I strongly do not recommend Art of Tibet to anyone who values clear communication, honesty, and reliable service. Beautiful products mean nothing if the company cannot handle fulfillment professionally.

The two paintings I ordered are beautiful and better than I had hoped from the online images. Unfortunately they suffered damage in shipment when the PVC tube they were in was crushed. I hope follow up will identify the stage when damage occurred and steps are taken to avoid that handler in the future.
My frames, matte, and non-reflective glass fortunately conceal the scratches
to the extent that only with knowledge of the location and close scrutiny can I see them. I was very lucky.

Why did I just get a bill from UPS for this shipment? Whatever it cost to ship whether it be customs or what not that is on you as the seller.
