Art In Voyage Arvostelua 

Art & Voyage has been wonderful in the planning of our Oregon trip. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule our journey and they have kindly and professionally assisted us every step of the way. We look forward to traveling with them in 2021! What defines a company often lies in how they engage and assist clients during difficult times, and we greatly appreciate their professionalism.

Mikael at Art in Voyage went above and beyond my expectations when my dream trip to South Africa needed to be rescheduled due the current Covid-19 Pandemic. He generously offered to deal with the airline directly to reschedule my flights even though we had purchased them ourselves separately from the curated journey we purchased from Art in Voyage. I highly recommend Art in Voyage, the personalized service, attention to detail and reliability are second to none.

Art In Voyage is simply the BEST! We use them for all of our travel needs and they never disappoint! Our last trip in February to Bora Bora was perfect. Food, excursions, experiences and world-class customer service made this a trip of a lifetime! Mikael and his team are working hard on putting out next trip together now. We cannot wait to begin traveling again!

Mikael and the team have been excellent throughout the vacation planning process. We came to them with a bucket list destination and they created an awesome itinerary for May 2020. Who knew COVID-19 would happen and require us to develop plan b. Mikael kept in communication about the status of our trip and when it became apparent we would have to postpone, they quickly shifted gears to rebooking. Instead of being sad about not being able to go this May, we added to the itinerary and have been rebooked. The team made it so easy and stress free. Never once have we been concerned or stressed about anything and knew we were in good hands. We look forward to 2021 and are thankful to Mikael and his team.

Art in Voyage knocks it out of the park!

What an incredible trip to the French Polynesia. We did 6 nights on a catamaran between islands and lagoons then 2 nights in an Overwater Bungalow in Bora Bora. They planned everything perfectly. We got to experience things that we wouldn't if we had planned on our own. This is our third trip with them and definitely not our last!

AIV and Mikael delivered yet another outstanding experience for my family and I. Their expert planning and execution made for an enjoyable and worry free vacation we all very much enjoyed! Mikael’s unique knowledge of the areas we traveled to in Spain along with all his personal touches and recommendations made for a trip of a lifetime. Would not hesitate to recommend AIV to anyone!

“Wow” is the single best word to describe our New Zealand trip. Everything was absolute perfection thanks to the knowledge, resourcefulness and attentiveness of Agrippina and Eric and the advance planning and thoughtfulness of Art in Voyage. Not only did Agrippina and Eric have fantastic recommendations for 5 star plus dining experiences, they were also adept at personalizing the trip for us. For example, while it wasn't on the original itinerary, once they heard we enjoy hiking, they recommended a 12 mile hike known as one of the best one day hikes in the world—the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Despite the difficulty of the hike, it was the highlight of our trip.

While the entire trip could be described as a “highlight”, there were several notable experiences in addition to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Hans Herzog winery/restaurant in Marlborough is not to be missed; the food, wine and service were top notch. The Picton seafood cruise was wonderful—not just for the scenery and dolphins—but the green lip mussels and clams (each of which were no less than triple the size of their American cousins) and the fresh salmon cooked on the grill by the captain were without rival. The Kaikoura whale watching flight was also a huge success, as we were fortunate enough to see a sperm whale, two humpback whales and literally hundreds of dolphins. Finally, the Milford Sound overnight cruise was breathtaking and the onboard meals were A plus. The sheerness of the mountains/cliffs bordering the Sound was breathtaking, especially as the sun rose after our most restful night sleep of the trip.

An unexpected pleasure was meeting Prue, the chef for our two night stay at Lake Taupo—although she was much more than just a chef. Not only did Pru prepare the best lamb we ate in New Zealand (and we ate quite a bit), she also owned one of the best restaurants we experienced in New Zealand (The Brantley), and she added helpful hints, as well as prepared a phenomenal hamper of food, for our Tongariro hike (which she had completed several years before).

To sum up our experience, New Zealand is perhaps the most beautiful, enchanted place we have visited anywhere in the world. The trip was a fantastic introduction to the country, its natural beauty, culture, wines and cuisine, and we were particularly impressed by the friendliness of all the New Zealanders we encountered and the stunning, natural and sometimes rugged beauty of the entire country. Art in Voyage made our trip especially memorable—so much so that we definitely plan to return one day.

No detail was too small for Art in Voyage, and Agrippina and Eric exceeded our expectations in all respects. New Zealand was our second Art in Voyage experience (the first was Tuscany), and we look forward to many, many more in the future--including Portugal next summer!

Kudos to Mikael, Agrippina, Eric and the entire Art in Voyage family, and thank you again for a wonderful introduction to New Zealand and another fabulous Art in Voyage experience! Your attention to detail is without compare!

Our South Africa adventure was the trip of a lifetime! Every moment of the experience was well planned and carefully selected by Art In Voyage. Every venue offered exceptional care and quality in its service: the food! the rooms! the views! I felt like a VIP at every turn. I couldn't recommend the trip and Art In Voyage more strongly!

Great trip! The experience was amazing!

We have been on several curated small group trips with Art in Voyage and loved the experience. This trip was an African safari that Mikael put together for just our family. He is a pleasure to work with, laying out options and itineraries, patiently working through any changes we wanted, and securing last minute tickets for sights in Dubai (on the front end, and a tour of Stone Town in Zanzibar on the back end.) From day one of the trip we felt like we had a watchful guardian angel as he worked behind the scenes to be sure each guide was in the right place, each pick up time confirmed, each transfer on schedule. We felt like we were his only clients even while he was putting the finishing touches on a destination wedding the bush in South Africa! Fabulous trip!

The team at Art In Voyage did an amazing job with planning an unforgettable trip to Europe. Every detail was planned and executed perfectly. The experiences they incorporated throughout the 3 days and the pre/post suggestions were unique and cultural. I would highly recommend them to plan any vacation personal or professional if you want unique, unforgettable experience while being pampered.

If you want to do it right, do it with these folks. They have figured out customer service! I am in the service business and I would love to send my key people to learn from Mikael and his team. From first communication until after return we were cared for with first class and extremely timely consideration. Communication was constant throughout the adventure which insured the feeling that this team was always there for whatever we needed at any time. The vacation was fabulous, however, we all agreed we would have missed a great deal had we not been in the hands of this first class team. Their knowledge and connections are unsurpassed. Thank you, Mikael and team, for giving us this unforgettable adventure!!!

My wife and I and another couple just returned from our first trip to Italy. At my daughter's recommendation we used Mikael and his team at Art In Voyage and could not have been happier with the results. I have never experienced such attention to detail by a travel company. Mikael was responsive to our every need and made us feel that we were his only customers. Recommendations for lodging, food and tours were fantastic. Thank you so much for our amazing trip to Umbria! Your team truly catered to our personal preferences on every level; with both of us being foodies, it made a difference! Our favorites were the fantastic dinners by Chef Jennifer and her AIV touches😊 Her culinary creations were arts themselves! The truffle hunt with Bruno was a wonderful experience as well as the visits to the various local towns! Looking through the pictures they were each different and very charming! Memories for a lifetime for sure!

Mikael, Eric and Karen were amazing. They planned and coordinated a vacation in Italy for a group of 20. Meeting all our diverse expectations (and personalities) was most likely challenging for them. Yet, I personally had a wonderful experience and they managed all our last minute requests with class! They provided great recommendations based on their personal experiences. Kudos!
