I had been using AJH for a few a years without any major problems, I have had the odd product missing from orders but that’s always been resolved until my most recent order. I put my order I like I did a few times a year, two days later I received an email stating that there was a backlog of orders and there was going to be a delay. In the meantime the store wasn’t taking any further orders, so they could get back on track. I thought that’s a reasonable and sensible way to solve the problem. Two days later (and almost everyday after that) I received a promotional offer via email with more sales on the products. I thought that’s a bit odd, they must have cleared the backlog! But no they hadn’t and this was just adding to the backlog issues! Nearly 3 weeks after placing the order I emailed them to let them know that if I didn’t receive the order within the next week I would have to cancel it as I was going away for a month, I received no response to this but the owner was active on social media for this brand and the other one he owns (OdinsBeardCare) he responded to someone who put a comment on there that that evening he was going to email all customers who had reached out to him. That never happened! Two days later I commented on the post that I hadn’t got a response to my email and the owner and looked at all the other comments with people saying they hadn’t had their orders from up to 10 weeks ago. At this point I hadn’t had a confirmation that my order had been cancelled as requested, so I put in a dispute with my bank to get the funds back. On 7/11 I received an email from AJH saying my order had been cancelled, I thought that would be the end of that and I’ll see my money back soon but oh no! The owner has yet to respond to my bank about the dispute so I’m left in limbo without products and no refund for now until the owner responds to the dispute!

It’s a real shame as they had some good products but the wait times (looking at past reviews on here, this issue has been getting worse for the past year) and lack of customer service are unacceptable and not worth the hassle. I won’t be ordering from here again. There are other suppliers who can get the products to you within a week of ordering.

Waited over a month with no communication from the seller. Throughout this time there were constant social media posts apologising for delays whilst also promoting special offers which clearly added to said delays. Eventually got a response via social media and after asking repeatedly got a refund for the products I had ordered. It appears that nothing has changed up to now and I can honestly only recommend that people avoid this company and don't part with your money.

Excellent service with great products. Guy's had a few technical issues, but none that warrant the poor reviews below.

Placed an order 10 weeks ago.

*UPDATE* on 4 November I was contacted by the seller via direct message. I have now received the requested refund.

After lots of back and forth (mainly me - I’ve only had 2 responses) I raised a PayPal claim asking for a refund.

Nothing was done until I responded to a Facebook post.

Then I received an update from PayPal advising they had been provided with a tracking number(!) It was not in the system.

I went back to the FB post and said again I didn’t want the product. I received a quick reply saying it would be sorted immediately, and a PP refund was shown as pending. That was 4 days ago. (I can also no longer reply to that post, so looks like he’s either restricted me or replies in general).

This am I have received a further update from PayPal stating the refund had failed and to contact the seller direct.

I’m trying. If this changes I’ll come back and update. But in the meantime, I’d recommend caution, and in my own experience you’ll need a lot of patience if you do decide to order.

Took about 6-7 weeks for my order to arrive and when it did arrive it wasn’t correct, I’ve been in contact on numerous occasions to see if he can give me the correct product but ignoring emails.
I’ve ordered before and had no problem, maybe just can’t cope with amount of orders.
I feel it’s really annoying to keep getting promotional emails when he can’t sort out existing orders.

Placed an order and still not received!!! Emailed on 2 occasions with no response.

Previously ordered and got product quickly and efficiently, company has gone down hill and clearly can't cope with the demand.

Seem happy to keep taking people's hard earned money though!!!

The product itself is amazing, and products are made upon order, not sat on a shelf pre-made, which explains the long dispatch.

Took 3.5 months for the order to be received. When contacted a second order was sent as it was believed the first order was lost. 2.5 weeks after this order was made the product arrived. It was frustrating to read emails about new promotional deals, while having not received my product due to a deluge of orders because of promotional deals.

Products never turned up. No contact from seller. Had to ask PayPal for help

Products never turned up. No response from the company about the order. too busy sending out marketing emails to respond to emails and to despatch orders. Seems like it’s pure luck if you receive your order or not.

100% recommend you avoid.

Placed order on 13th August. Got rude unhelpful responses. Order never received and got zero response whilst the owner went on his holidays - apparently the odd package tends not to arrive I was told on his return (seems to be more than the odd package from other reviews and Instagram comments!) Requested money back from credit card company.

Ordered beard balms from different supplier on 1st October, received on 4th October. Not difficult to find other excellent suppliers of same product who don't just take your money and not deliver any product.

AVOID (and sister company Odin) LIKE THE PLAGUE! Scumbag thieves.

Waited a month, told to keep waiting. Waited another 10 days, nothing, then asked for a refund.

Had to contact my bank in the end as no sign of refund, they refunded me, and then he refunded shortly after.

Complete time waster. Plenty of other good small business’ in the beard game that actually appreciate your business!

Do not recommend!! Placed an order and after 3/4weeks later I still hadn’t received my order. I asked for a refund over 6 weeks ago and still haven’t received it, it’s coming upto 2 months! Terrible service. There are other small businesses out there with the same quality products with 2/3 days delivery. Highly recommend looking elsewhere!

Ordered on the 2nd Aug, not received anything after a week, so sent an e-mail, very sorry we have a back log, so your order will be dispatched the following week, nothing again for a week, sent 3-4 e-mails again, no replies, other than a daily promo on offers! just received an e-mail stating they are shutting down next week for 5 days to catch up on all orders...... terrible service, just got a refund from PP 22/08 and will not be visiting this seller again, very disappointed as I like to support small businesses :(

Placed plenty of orders from them previously, products are great as always.

Placed my first order in a while last month after running out, and the offers on the website were decent.

Unfortunately 1 of the bottles of cherry cola oil had no scent in, but I contacted them through their website and the issue was resolved quickly and a replacement is being sent straight out.
Can’t fault the customer service!

Never again, I ordered on Saturday 8th October, and only on Saturday 15th October I got a shipped notification (not a tracking number) Thursday 20th I asked for the tracking number, and didn’t even get a reply. Today is Saturday 22nd, 2 weeks later no tracking number, no parcel. Royal Mail were on strike Thursday 13th and 20th, that wouldn’t be effect even a 2nd class small parcel to that effect. Time to find a new beard balm brand
