They don’t do shit I don’t know why you’re obligated to do something and you’re injured like they know when the hell your body is going to heal completely and they need to be shut down or fire some people that works there just to make people life hell

I called several times and went through the lengthy automated service and then would be put on hold by the automated service and then after being on a lengthy hold a prerecorded message would come on and say all of the representatives are busy and instructed me to leave a voicemail. I also tried their online request for a call or email and after submitting it said a reply will be made within 2 business days. Not acceptable.

It's yet another corrupt Texas agency. What a shocking surprise...

They let employers lie through their teeth to deny paying legally entitled unemployment payments. And appealing is a waste of time.

I’m extremely disappointed with the way Texas Workforce handles claims — especially for military families who have just uprooted their entire lives for a PCS move across the world. There is no sense of urgency, no clear communication, and no understanding of the unique challenges that military spouses face when they are suddenly unemployed because of orders.

After serving our country and moving as directed, we should not be left struggling for months without income while we wait on a slow and confusing system. The process feels unnecessarily complicated and drawn out, adding stress to an already difficult transition. Military families are resilient, but we should not have to fight this hard just to receive the support we are entitled to.

Texas Workforce needs to do better — streamline claims for military families, prioritize cases related to PCS, and communicate more effectively. We deserve timely assistance and respect for the sacrifices we make.

Texas Workforce Commission Unemployment is a waste of tax payers money.

So update I didn't want you CITY OF MANOR people to take my word for it. Listen to the entire recording of the unemployment hearing. The CITY OF MANOR TRACEY VASQUEZ AND SCOTT MOORE NEVER HELD THE MEETING ANTHONY ASKED FOR REPEATEDLY. LANCE WAS ABLE TO KEEP RETALIATING (Everytime Anthony tried to report Lance, Lance was able to write Anthony up. Tracey was informing Lance of Anthony complaining) until finally Tracey had enough writeups for termination. Scott and Matthew signed off on it. But Matthew offered to pay Anthony to sweep everything under the rug. This is what the CITY OF MANOR IS DOING. The City Of Manor paid $3400.00 for some of the department to receive their CLD. When Anthony asked could he obtain his through the City, Lance told him "NO, he would never drive in his department". Anthony paid out of pocket and obtain his own.... The City Scott Moore, Tracey Vasquez, Matthew, and Lance Zeplin wrote Anthony up and terminated him for refusing to drive..... And guess???? TO BE CONTINUED.This is not 1900's Tracey Vasquez. Lance can't belittle people and think the can force someone to do something when favoritism is being shown. Tracey Vasquez named two of Anthony Moore's coworkers who told he said he wasn't driving, so be careful who you shake hands with.

my mom works there. she has to work for up to 10 hours a day. and she barely has time for me. one time, she had to work until 10 pm one time. and another time, she couldn't cook lunch until 1.

Denied unemployment even though I was overqualified.

They are giving priority to companies, they are no longer being fair, with that they get companies to do whatever they want with employees, they fire them without any reason and employees support them, my husband was fired from the company arguing that the state of Texas allows it, without any reason and they did not give him unemployment.

Unemployment is supposed to be based off of how long you've worked for a company not why the person got let go. I was way over qualified for unemployment and they didn't give it to me. So unfortunate we can't rely on you guys.

Never and I mean never send an appeal request letter USPS mail. Even though it lists this as an option, beware! We all know how bad the mail system can be and even though it must be post-marked 14 days from the day it is received, the enveloped scanned by them had the whole right side eliminated. Either they trashed it or intentionally did a partial scan.
I claimed under oath I mailed within the 14 day window but they denied my claim on this factor alone. The website was not working so I went with this option. Always send certified or find a faxing station. A SCAM FOR SURE. Like they say, learn the hard way.

This service sucks. Still no check and I was layed off 2-2-2024. You hold forever only to get hung up on or call volume too high n try back later. Or you request a call back, a week go by and nothing. I'm really stressed about how to pay my bills without compensation. This is the worst experience ever besides being layed off. Not knowing if you're going to lose your car, get evicted. These companies want their money and our excuses means nothing to them. I Hope and Pray I never have to use it again In The Name Of Jesus

TWC should require employers to respond in less than 7 days. They give the employers 14 days then reach out to them on day 15 or day 16 and give them 2 more days to respond. That's 18 days and nothing accomplished. Then they request for more information from the employer and allow another 14 days + additional days for the employer to respond, that's giving the employer 32+ days to play around and not submit details to help us in our financial crisis situation. The system needs changing, if the employer really has grounds to fire the they should be prepared to present or we move on. Some employers purposely delay submitting information in hopes the applicants find work before benefits kick in, thats not fair to us. We work, we do our job, some employers just do not like you and so they will do anything to delay payments. And TWC and the commissioners fall right for it. 7 DAYS should be enough time to send in information since they are the initiators. Going on day 58 still waiting for the employer to respond and watching my investigator chase my former employer down to respond. 2 days before eviction trial and no assistance from the government.

This review is for the Texas Workforce Commission in Lubbock, Texas HORRIBLE business!!!! They claim that they'll help you find a new job, but they don't do anything at all!!! They just give you the run around. I was supposed to be a part of their Vocational Rehabilition Program because of my mental disabilities. Even though the employment rate here in Lubbock is fairly low, they still claimed that they were unable to help me find a job for 6 months because it's a long process. They claimed that they would provide 15 free counseling sessions, but they didn't even bother to begin to set that up until after 5 months of me being unemployed.

They don't care how long you're unemployed, they don't care about you possibly being evicted from your home because you can't afford to pay rent. Or your utilities being turned off because you can't afford to pay them either. They refuse to help you with your rent and bills while you're waiting FOREVER for them to maybe help you find another job. They also claim that if you've used their services in the past, but haven't followed through, in other words, you found a job on your own, they claim that they'll punish you for finding a job on your own by refusing to help you find a job again in the future. This is a MAJOR LIE!!!! And besides, right now I don't care!!!!! They are completely pointless!!!!

I decided to talk with the people at the Good Will Career Center one day. Ended up having an unexpected interview the next day and I got the job. So, I would HIGHLY recommend them, even though they didn't have much of a chance to help me find a job, after talking with one of their career coaches, I felt like I had more confidence, which helped me get the job.

Workforces Solutions is COMPLETELY POINTLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!

What made my experience great, was that Work in Texas, didn't need to show proof of a High School Diploma, or a College degree, to have job opportunities available. This company is doing well, on world peace. Because focusing on what's around you in the world, is always the best thing to know what to do.
