Our claim was processed quickly and efficiently at a most difficult time during my husband’s recent health scare.

We recently had a family cruise — party of 13 on NCL. My son who is in college was ill and not able cruise with us. The cruise left on a Sunday and he was not able to get a doctor appointment and the signed Physician statement attesting he was unable to cruise until the Monday after the cruise left. A On Travel denied the refund because he did not see a doctor before the cruise —even though he could not get an appointment on a Saturday or Sunday . He received a partial cruise credit — worthless as who wants to cruise by themselves —and the credit is non transferable.

I am not sure where all of these 5star reviews are coming from. I have had to deal with AON three times for clients. all three experiences have been awful at best. I have to resubmit claim forms and documents several times before they finally say they have received them. (i also have proof to show when they docs were sent, and a reply from AON. they still deny ever receiving them). This time, a flight was canceled and the parties missed part of their vacation. I have sent the airline documentation, hotel documentation, etc. AON says they don't have a claim form. How is that possible? I called to speak to a supervisor, then I am told it will be two business days for a response. I am still waiting (going on two months for the claim to be approved) Their process is not smooth like Allianz.

It’s been over a year ago that I went on a carnival cruise line with insurance through Aon to protect my cruise. I got ill from going into a nasty pool. I ended up with pneumonia and left the cruise line with a $2008 promissory note for the medical attention received. I went directly to my local emergency room and still have a bill totaling approximately $5000. Ended up going to two additional hospitals before I was better. As of this date, Aon has paid me the $2008 for Carnival, and approx $300 for another bill but I’ve yet to get payment on the $5000 hospital emergency room bill I received upon my return. I stated to them in my initial claim application that I not only wanted my medical bills taken care of, but I want my cruise reimbursed so now I can enjoy a seven day cruise as I paid for previously. To date, there has been no reference to those requests. Instead, I receive canned responses requesting copies of EOBs that I have already submitted. Aon is evidently available to benefit and protect the cruise lines. I will never use them again. After cruising with Carnival since 1994 and never having a claim, this feels like a SCAM!!!

Aon was very responsive to my client's claim. They promptly got the ball rolling. They fulfilled their responsibility in the claim quickly and completely. They made the whole process very simple.

My wife and I purchased travel protection for our Carnival cruise, because sometimes life unexpectedly gets in the way. Our crusie was going to be my retirement cruise from being an airline pilot for 45 years, but my wife had to have major surgery and we had to cancel our cruise. Aon was wonderful in assisting and helping us to get a full refund, minus the Aon insurance cost of course, after we provided all of the required documentation from her doctor. Sadly, I didn’t get to go on my retirement cruise but the flipside of the coin is we received a very timely refund! I would 100% definitely recommend Aon, it was 100% worth the value.

We scheduled a trip that had several components supplied by different travel providers each of which used different travel insurance options. Aon provided the insurance on the flights. We had to cancel the trip due to health-related issues. Aon provided a quick and easy way to make a claim for our airfare reimbursement (even though several different airline companies were involved). They promptly investigated our claim and paid 100% of our loss. Ultimately all three of the travel insurance policies (each from a different company) paid 100% of our claims but Aon's system was easiest to use and the communication during the claims process was excellent.

My claim was easy. All spelled out as to what was needed. Once I uploaded the needed documents I had a check in a week. Easy and efficient.

I was recently diagnosed with cancer and had surgery. My oncologist said that I would have to cancel my trip. It was very easy and my refund was promptly credited. Avon does a great job!

I was on a 16 day transatlantic cruise. I had their Platinum Insurance plan. Early morning of 10/25 I had a health event that required me to visit the health center of the MS Rotterdam.
Their service was complete and most satisfactory. I submitted my claim on or about October 30. I was careful to include all of the health care related and billing related documents. Very soon i recieved acknlodgement of receipt from Aon. The claim was settled in a most timely manner and the reimbursememnt was send directly to my bank in 'record' time. I was VERY pleased with your service

Claim was easy to file and the money was in my account in a few days!

Always buy the insubstantial this is the 1st time we had to use it. Once they received the form from my doctor they were quick to refund the money hat we had paid for the trip. No issues, fast service.

I recently missed a Road Scholar trip because of illness, symptoms without a clear cause. I didn't file my claim for over 6 weeks until all my tests were done, but I was careful enclose all the results. Within a week my claim was approved and full payment was quickly received.

Aon was so fast at taking care of us after an accident ( broken leg ) left my best friend unable to go on our cruise.
We will definitely go on another cruise someday and we will definitely use Aon as our travel insurance!
