The experience is not like any other. It's a stressful experience but entirely new to me. It also could be a genuinely reflective experience as to what can be improved.

I absolutely loved it

I absolutely loved it! I thought I was better as a market maker, having work experience in selling currencies, however, I was incredibly good as an asset manager. It was an insightful experience!

Highly recommended to anyone looking to break into banking

I would recommend it to anyone interested in investment banking but is unsure what that really looks like or to find out if the role is truly for you.

I completed the Mergers & Acquisitions Finance Accelerator and it was very helpful in identifying the level of skills I have in modelling and a really cool way of getting an insight into the practical tasks I would be doing as an analyst.

Buyer Beware .. Not good for business

I invested $500 with Amplify Trading to see if I could get some extra money on the side. When I asked if there would be any additional fees to withdraw my investment, I was told that there would not be. However, after a couple days of watching my investment grow, I was informed that I would need to upgrade my account for an additional $1200 before I could withdraw. I informed my account manager that I only had $500 to invest, nothing more. Now, my account is on hold because I cannot upgrade. I cannot withdraw without an upgrade. This is a scam.

So Much Learning

The experience presented an overwhelming amount of new knowledge and opportunity. Replication of the fast-paced trading floor was done incredibly well. If given the chance, I would complete this simulation as many times as possible to continuously improve my abilities.

Longer Introduction please

Would've been helpful to be an Asset manager first as I would then know as an Investment Bank how I could service them better. As this can't really happen, a longer introduction to being an investment banker in within the simulation would be nice.
