Price quote from American Made Moving was over the phone based on my list. When they showed up, i had twice as much stuff. Forgot to mention the garage and the storage unit. They still did it for the original price. Just said "next time be honest". Felt terrible but grateful.
Forgot to tell American Made Moving about the narrow staircase to the basement. Like really narrow. They looked at it, looked at each other, then just turned the couch sideways and made it work.
Two different moving companies cancelled on me last minute. Found American Made Moving at 8 PM the night before. They said "we'll be there at 7 AM". Showed up at 6:55. Saved me from a complete disaster. Will never forget that.
Honastly i almost canceled because i was so tired. The movers in Pasadena showed up, saw i hadn't taken my bed apart, and one guy just pulled out a screwdriver and did it himself. Didn't even ask. That kind of thing stays with you.
Everything is fine, but the movers were half an hour late. We took our time ))
