American Alarm and Communications, Inc. - Arlington Headquarters Arvostelua

Friendly staff & easy scheduling. Good communication and customer service. Staff contacted us when they needed to change the time of our scheduled visit and always followed up a few days before to ensure the time was good. They were efficient & knowledgeable in their suggestions for alarm replacements. No complaints!

I had another good experience with American Alarm and Communications.

I accidentally set off my house alarm during a stressed-out time. Although I couldn't find my code (a newish one), I was given an appropriate amount of time. I was was treated with care and understanding. I found my code just after that call. I then called American Alarm's main phone number. I was treated so well here, too. The person that answered quickly got the process going so that the police would not come. Success! I thank the two people I worked with. I was treated with warmth and care!!

I have always had good experience with American Alarm and Communications. I highly recommend it.

the technicians were prompt and explained the operation of the system to our satisfaction.

Nearly 40 years of doing business with the Sampson Family & their Team, they are always on their.

I have always had an excellent experience. They focus on customer service and are technically very professional and competent.

Entire staff has been very helpful in pointing me in the right direction with all my issues. Have not had a problem yet and do not expect any. Again Great people, Great company.

Quick service and really nice people... no question goes unanswered and everyone really cares about giving excellent service and safe coverage for our home!

Professional and prompt. Haven't needed to have a response to a tripped alarm yet, but at my previous residence, they were good.

The technician was prompt and efficient. However, there was one major problem. Shortly after he left, we left the house and set the alarm. The technician had not actually done a full test of setting the alarm and waiting through the full cycle until it was fully set. This turned out to be a significant error. While we were driving from our house. we got a call from the police, saying that our alarm was on. We returned to the house to turn it off. Then we called American Alarm to send the technician back to fix whatever caused the false alarm. He was able to come within an hour because he was still in the neighborhood, and after some troubleshooting discovered that, according to him, he had installed the wrong resistor for one of (or both of?) the glass break detectors. He replaced the incorrect part with the correct part, and it worked after that. This resulted in our receiving a warning from the Brookline Police that we had exceeded the number of allowed false alarms and that we would be fined for any more false alarms. So far, we haven't had any more, but if for any reason we have one, due to equipment failure or our error, we will pay a fine. We like American Alarm, but we encourage more careful post-installation testing by technicians
