I completed the A2 course during year 13 and thought it was so helpful! I was stuck on a C for chemistry for a long time but this course helped refresh my knowledge and understand how to answer exam questions to get the marks guaranteed. I thought the 2 group sessions per week was really helpful to provide some revision structure and it motivated me to do more of my own revision, and breaking down the topics to one topic per week over the course made it feel much more manageable to revise leading up to exams. The range of exam questions provided, specific to each exam board and the opportunity to ask questions or book a clinic if you need more help was also great as it means you aren’t left confused if the exam questions become confusing.
I learned lots of helpful tricks to remember things and found that the active participation in the group tutor was really good for recall and learning.
I would really recommend this course and Andrew was a great tutor!

I found the year 1 chemistry course extremely helpful for my end of year mocks, I jumped up from a D to a B, very happy with the results and now looking forward to using the Year 2 course!

I signed my daughter up for Andrew’s course in Year 13 as I felt it would help motivate her to revise the whole of the A level syllabus prior to her exam. Also the structure seemed ideal for her as she was not wanting a 1:1 tutor- but wanted more of a recapping of the topics delivered in a lecture style way. It was definitely the right choice for her and she engaged well and really enjoyed Andrew’s sessions. They were motivating and she found the exam question practice really helpful.
Her teaching at school was good and she knew her stuff- but what needed more comprehensive intensive revision, exam techniques and practice and help on tap to help her secure a higher A level Chemistry grade. We would definitely recommend Andrew and his style of teaching.

I found the revision course to be truly effective in many different ways. For example in identifying the gaps in my knowledge and how to identify and tackle the issues causing these gaps. The online portal that a student undergoing this course has access to is very helpful as it allows the student to gain access to a large array of past paper questions and a recordings of the lesson that can be used to solidify one’s knowledge of the content discussed in lesson. I would definitely recommend this course if you are looking to improve on certain aspects of your chemistry knowledge and also solidify the topics you are already confident in.

Andrew was arguably the best teacher I have ever had, he was so energetic passionate and really helpful in explaining things I struggled with. I love the fact that he had pre-made resources for us and so many question to go over as well as the access to past lessons was very helpful and unique. The extra clinics he offers are also good reassurance choices and can contact him anytime for any questions I might be struggling with. The sessions have also helped me so much I am basically top of the class for my organic chemistry thanks to his course. Will definitely miss the lessons and will be grateful for his help. I would recommend this to anyone whether they struggle with chemistry or just want a bit more to do!!!!! Thank you so much!!!

Andrew was a fantastic choice for my daughter's A level Chemisrty.
The lesson were delivered very effectively. All lessons were structured very well so she knew exactly what was being covered and content to match her exam board Having lessons split into
content, exam technique and questions was very well delivered which didn't feel overwhelming for my daughter. Most importantly Andrew knew his subject and content giving precise information and answers. He was always on hand to answer questions. I would highly recommend Andrew, as he has delivered what he set out. Information provided before the course started was also very helpful and again always on hand to answer questions. I will definitely be using Andrew if my younger daughter chooses Chemistry in a year's time. Thank you for the encouragement too along the way and the self belief that can often be lacking.

Really helped me understand difficult chemistry topics. Andrew is experienced and lessons were very well taught. They are also recorded which allows you to watch them many times. Really helped my confidence in chemistry and helped prepare me for exams

Andrew is a great tutor who explains a wide range of techniques that make chemistry much easier to understand compared to what is typically covered in class. His unique teaching style is really effective and helped me improve both my exam technique and my understanding of how and why things work in chemistry, which was key in helping me improve my grade.

I have spent the past 10 weeks with Andrew, having a session twice a week, in that time, we were able to cover 10 different topics, each in detail, having one session to review the content and the next session to review questions about that topic. This was all done with enthusiasm keeping me engaged with the session the whole way through. Andrew also provided question papers we could use to test our knowledge after the session was completed or use for revision at a later date, these have been helpful due to being able to see how the questions on the different topics would be worded and find out what the wording in the mark scheme would be to maximise the amount of marks I got, he even included the examiners remarks so I could see what common mistakes people were making allowing for me to avoid making the same ones in the future. Finally, during the different sessions, Andrew provided multiple methods to help remember generic solutions to problems to save time and the need to remember so much, such as BOHE, or CMRR for example, which have made it easier to remember how to solve different problems because instead of having to remember 5 different steps that I could not remember the order of, I just need to remember one acronym and that would help me figure out what I needed to do.

Overall, I have found Andrew to be an incredible tutor, able to cover so much content in a relatively short amount of time, and to be able to cover it thoroughly. Due to all of this, I have grown more confident in my skills in chemistry A level.

The AS course lessons have been excellent , engaging and fun. Andrew has explained complex topics very well using
mnemonics and useful exam tips. I would highly recommend him.

The lessons were fun and engaging! Highly recommend the AS course for any year 12s who want to get a jumpstart to chemistry. Andrew gave us some really useful exam tips too; he is clearly very experienced and knows what he’s doing!

Andrew is an exceptional chemistry tutor who truly goes above and beyond for all his students. He is genuinely invested and passionate about his students’ success and has managed to explain complex chemistry concepts in a clear, structured, and easy-to-understand way to my Son.
The lessons are virtual group lessons of between 10-15 students and are always well-prepared, structured and professional. This is followed by another session on second day, where the same topic is covered by doing exam questions. Finally on a third day, there is a “drop-in clinic” for any individual questions the students may have. To top it off, all lessons are recorded and available for future reference if needed!
This method has been extremely effective and has consolidated my Son’s understanding of difficult topics. We have just completed the Y12 content course and have already signed up for the next Y13 course! Thank you Andrew!

Andrew is a great tutor, he has helped me have a deeper understanding of the Chemistry AS content in preparation for my mock exams. After his exam technique lessons, I feel more confident with answering exam questions using key words that mark schemes are looking for.

Andrew has been a fantastic tutor to my daughter on the Year 12 content, 12 week course. He is engaging, clear in delivery and brilliant with content and exam technique preparation.
It’s been so good, that we’ve signed up to the year 13 course ready for her exams in the summer. It has given her that little bit extra confidence and support in the run up to her mock exams this week. All resources and recorded sessions being available until the summer to review/ rewatch at her own convenience is also an huge benefit as she feels reassured that she has this to support her at any time.
